*sigh* I didn't mean it like that, I meant that those views are better shared on threads about those characters where you can give justifications and everything. It doesn't really add to the conversation if you're just stating that 'cause you think that A is stupid and you think that B is stupider than that then what you say must be true. I apologise if I came on a bit strongly but I feel that if you have a right to free speech then you should use it responsibly by trying not to offend people, even if it's on accident... karan can you try to avoid character bashing, it just starts arguments and makes people who like those characters annoyed, including me, I think Kogorou is awesome~! Anyway, as far as I remember Megure has never come that close that we've seen, though at times he seems suspicious about how often Kogorou and Conan end up at crime scenes. I do think Takagi's got a much better chance at figuring it out.. EDIT: I love your username by the way :mrgreen:

But the way Sera was like, 'FBI huh?' and the fact Camel didn't recognise her, combined with her age make it quite unlikely she's FBI at this point. On the Scar Akai = Sera subject I reckon that the height's too far off for it to fool Camel, plus it doesn't explain why Gin refused to shoot Scar Akai...

Y'know, I once had a dream in which Akai wore his hat 'cause he dyed his har to make it match other Japanese people and he wore it in case the roots were showing. I think I dreamt Akai with naturally blond hair, Okiya colour hair... Errr... take that as my crack theory or something on why Akai likes headwear...

Maybe it ended up there as a dying message or something, I don't know. I seriously doubt it being an art error though... Also, the 'Abe-chan' 'Ame-chan' thing seems pretty plausible, especially if you consider that they've still not yet got a way to identify the culprit. Plus, if Aoyama wants each character to have a reasonable size role in this case it's probably gonna be longer than the recent 3 file cases. Other than that I'm not making any more predictions for now, maybe tomorrow I will...

I agree with you all. I've read both of those series and several other books by Horowitz. Personally I prefer Gatekeepers over the Rider series (partly 'cause most of the baddies, if not all, aren't originally British, it gives off the wrong impression, also, the motives are pretty weak sometimes). It's a shame that Horowitz hasn't completed Gatekeepers yet.

I know karan, it's absolutely shocking someone would switch their vote to be anti-Sera/Camel! I can see why you had that reaction...

Yeah, the English was very good for DC, it's definitely improved from James Black's first appearance where I actually needed the subtitles to understand his 'English'. It's a rather pleasant suprise... Oh, and CarpetCrawler, who were the original English speakers? Apart from Hades no of them have accents anywhere near similar to real life, though I suppose an American trying to fake an English accent who has only seen outdated films could possibly have done one of the policemen... I just can't figure out who the original speakers could be...

I know most hiragana, a bit of katakana and an even smaller amount of kanji (things like colours, some numbers, character's names..). I learnt quite a lot of it from anime/manga, 'sugoi' 'jiken' jikan' and 'oi oi' come to mind... Also, @Cheesus: Could you put up the PDF please?

I hope Aoyama does bring some of the police officers into this, it's been a while since we saw Satou... ...and I'm a Takagi fan
