^Nice I got into the series through fanfiction, weirdly enough. Basically, I was searching through a fanfic authors other fics (I think it was Ellen Brand) and I saw a oneshot from the Detective Conan fandom. I decided to read it and proceeded to love it, then, in order to make sense of some of the confusing aspects (APTX, the bowtie ect;) I googled it, which resulted in some, but not all the of the plot points spoilt and discovering DCTP. That was halfway through the London Case... :mrgreen:

Oi oi, so Americans are the only people this affects? Anyway, this isn't really a huge stepping stone, the second-in-command is obviously just provoked into avenging their founder. All it does is show that both sides are gonna get more and more at each others throats. The Americans have more morale now, yes, I'll admit that, but, by killing Osama they're adding fuel to the fire. Also, saying essentially 'God is on America's side' isn't the smartest thing to do. It hasn't factored in that not everyone is Christian and, again, is just more likely to provoke Al-Qaeda into action. I'm totally bored by the way.... What's Haibara got to go back to if she changes back to Miyano? Nothing, her sister is dead and even if Anokata is found and killed there would probably be some individuals of the organisation remaining. So, if she stays as Haibara she's got some pretty good and accepting friends and can actually live a proper childhood this time. That's why I think Aoyama will either keep her as a child or have her sacrificing herself during the finale (unlikely, but possible). Well, anyone agree?

Yep, I think your best pics here are the first Haibara one (I especially love the eyes, though the back of the hair seems more on the cartoony side than the manga side) and the Conan on the plate looks exactly like him from what I can tell. The ones from other fandoms also look quite cool but as I'm not into that series I wouldn't be the best judge on how similar they are. Anyway, awesome pics (again, Haibara one is <3)

So, thank you everyone who commented on my other pics. After reading them I decided to focus on getting the art style right (nose position, eyes ect;) before doing the characters... ^This is the result, you can't really see the colouring that well and the flash on my phone made the ink sort of reflect (weird, but... yeah, it happened). On the bright side I think I got the style down a lot better than before. What d'you think? Is it as good as the others, are the proportions right ect;

My (laptop's) calculator worked it as 2, I think it's 'cause it tries to work the question out as it goes along and so doesn't factor in the fact that brackets come first. I haven't tried it on my normal calculator yet, though when I just did it in my head I got 1.

She'd slip up 10 times as much as Heiji, but she'd be more understanding about 'why' Kudou isn't around (probably compare it to a fairytale or something...).

Well, I can be a back-up to resort to if no one comes forward, though I'm only 14, so, if you think I'm too young for the language or whatever I'll understand. The Clock Tower wins it for me, I mean, Tropical Land is where the series starts and there's lots of memories behind it, but the Clock Tower is linked with all of Kaito and Aoko's relationship: if they hadn't have met then, then their entire history, how close they are, how Kaito reacted to his father's death ect; would have been utterly different. Their motivations, characterisations are influenced by each other. It's just sweet how it's obviously very important to both of them.... The HatZuha one isn't factored into any of this because: 1) I haven't actually seen Movie 7 yet 2) It's non-canon, therefore unless Aoyama links back to it in the manga I will take confirmed canon over anything from movies, OVA's and so on.

It depends a bit on the timezones though (17:58 here for example) some people could be asleep at the moment and not get the message for 6 hours or something. EDIT: Doctor Who'll be starting in just over an hour two minutes (apparently there's a huge cliffhangar at the end of this episode). I'm trying really hard not to go over to the Digital Spy Doctor Who forums 'cause I'm very, very bad at avoiding spoilers and I've already possibly... in fact, I've definitely ruined parts of this one. Hmm... I agree with most of these (particularly Haibara-Conan interaction ones, Shinichi-moral/love ones and Ayumi + Ran's on friendship/love). However, I've just read through the entire thread and noticed you haven't got: "Edogawa Conan, tantei sa/ Edogawa Conan, a detective" or... "I'll tell you... in the afterlife" (The Matsuda case, near the end of Vol.36) These are mostly for the sheer badassery when Conan says them... :mrgreen:

...I doubt it (the 'less KaiShin fans' thing), maybe the fans will reduce a bit but most of them'll just go with incest or AU fanfics where they're not related ect;

@crimsonsynchro: I'd say become friends (or better friends) with him/her as a starting point, that way you know whether you really want to go through with it, if you've got much in common ect; Plus it would make you trust each other more and provides a base point for you to start from and build upon. What happens after that though I've no experience in and so probably wouldn't be any help... And IdentityUnknown's advice looks pretty good too... Hope that helps
