Hmm... nice to see logical reasoning in these theories for once (no insult meant to anyone else, I'm just saying that some people say things like, 'It can't be Megure, he's too pretty~!' instead of thinking of evidence). So... maybe just straighten out any holes in your theory (e.g. it seems like an obvious red herring, how would you explain that) and you'll be good to go. Interesting choice too

I reckon it's possibly to do with how Touichi died, I mean, his death is pretty mysterious and all we know for certain is that he was murdered and made to look like an accident. Also, if they do do it in an OVA it'd have to be pretty amazing for it to make up for it's non-canonness (<-weird word).

Yep! You seems Yumi-ish (and the LHC thing too, Yumi's one of the only single Tokyo police officers left) Now, me... Hakuba? British, owns loads of clocks (at least 5 in my bedroom at the moment, 6 if you count the laptop). Also, I'm a teenager, have light brown hair (Hakuba's is blond/brown in my opinion) polite most of the time, awesome accent...

On the subject of others going Ah~re~re~: in the Stadivarius case (and can I just mention I loved the animation of the first ep of that one) at the part where Takagi's after the violin in the window he does a weird sort of Ah-re-re. It goes like this: *Takagi leans out of the window and the violin moves away, "Cho-chotto, Ah-l-l-le-le-le!". He then proceeds to nearly fall out the room to the ground* Priceless

Oh, I've read those: the Haibara oneshot and that one with awesome Ran characterisation? Anyway, I'd recommend Ysabet and nightengale's fic 'Three Thieves' a super-epic-long-really-really-unique fic. Characterisations are brilliant and the pairing is potrayed brilliantly too It often has the same feel as Kitsune Heart's fics if anyone's read them (though she's from the Artemis Fowl fandom) and some of the scenes are M rated, though you're given warning as to when to skip the scenes. Also, not sure if I've mentioned this but blinkblink's fics are really good once you've adjusted to the weird writing style (it's sorta detatched in the way it describes everything which is slightly confusing at first) and they mostly focus on the Magic Kaito side of things. The series with Heavy Silences is the best in my opinion (probably 'cause I don't like AU's that much and the KaiAo scenes in it are much more natural, if a lot less frequent). Fave bits are probably the Taskforce and Nakamori's interactions, love 'em Fallout by Silversage too. It carries on from Movie 13 and is currently still being written but what's there you should check out. Takagi and Satou's chapters are the ones I look forward to the most... He's okay, got an interesting personality and fairly intelligent so while he isn't exactly my first choice for 'Most Awesome Character~!' he's still quite adorkable in his own weird way. @conanshinichi: Your justifications aren't the most logical y'know, saying you hate people because they're clumsy wouldn't get you anywhere in real life and all your other reasons are down to how he looks (seems a bit shallow to me). I wonder what is meant by Haibara and Sera both 'being wolves', the only other 'wolf' references I can think of at the moment are Akai(Okiya ) and their/his comments on the Org being (metaphorically of course) wolves. ...And thanks for the translation~!

I think Ran's going into the final suspicion arc soon (in the manga at least) and from the looks of things she's going to use actual evidence this time (fingerprints). Of course, it's not just her being suspicious of Conan lately, the Detective Boys and Sera also are realising that something's up with Conan. Considering that most arcs make their climax around the '00's then at somewhere near the 800 mark the latest developments are gonna come to a head with Ran still being suspicious and thinking Conan=Shinichi while Conan's running off somewhere with the Akai Okiya and Jodie. In other words I think Ran is going to figure it out for real sometime soon (though what I count as soon is 'within the next 200 files' ).
