Huh, it is quite weird the contrast between DCW and DCTP, especially all the people who're similar to Parkur over here when on the DCTP one he was all alone with his results. Well, I'll post my results from the DCTP one to see how I compare on this one -3.5,-4.3

Yeah, I know the real reason for what I'm about to say is probably Americanisms, but I'm going to say it anyway 'cause random speculation is fun \o/. So, Okiya says he's a Sherlockian, but when SH was set most people were referred to by their last names meaning that most people called him 'Holmes', not 'Sherlock'. So, as he said 'Sherlockian', not 'Holmesian' he's obviously a fan of BBC's Sherlock *nods*

I'd agree if it weren't for the sheer number of murders being impossible without some sort of other reason involved, eg. plot device or Conan being related to a Shinigami somehow (which probably isn't true, but is fun to think about)

Agree with the TARDIS in London to explain the QuickTransform to Shinichi, but Hakuba's not eccentric enough/should probably be Sylar.. *coughwrongseriescough* To be honest though, it's much more likely shows like DW and Sherlock to have similarities than DW and DC (though most of the similarities with Sherlock and DW are due to the writers and producers being the same :-x)

I like the somewhat darker tones, they'll be fitting enough in the upcoming episodes, really...surreal, but it was a nice change and interesting. I'd give it a seven out of ten.

That was it! I put it terribly myself when I tried to explain it, but... yeah, that's the sorta character development I was talking about, on that point, her calming down has made her more mature, but also steals some of her individuality... :/

You have a point with that :x, though other aspects of her character have changed like her being calmer and stuff *will try to explain properly later so pick apart that statement as much as you want for now :x*

It's probably because Aoyama can't afford to develop main characters that often 'cause we'll see them all the time and it'll affect how everything plays out. Basically, certain points can only be confronted when the plot is... at the right part I suppose, probably why pairings are only really starting to be tied up recently...

Hiccups, the guy probably mentioned he had hiccups (Conan realised because of Genta sneezing and trying to stop it) and knew the woman would try to shock him out of it (it's already shown she can try to be dramatic with the Halloween outfit earlier) the knife was probably the closest thing available so he just had to mention nearby to it and he could safely predict she would use it to shock him. Plus, it fits in with the voicemail and her saying 'did it stop?'. Other than that, I think the 'heart' is like a xxx y'know... so the sender is likely a female friend who recognises the symptoms.
