You have doujinshis stores in Japan like K-Book. And in some stores like Animate (manga and anime goods shops) or Mandarake (second hand manga stores) you also have doujinshis. But you can't find them in an usual bookshop. A lot of doujinshi are also sold in manga/anime festival/events like KOMIKET. I would be glad to... but it seems japanese people don't consider this coupling. I have never seen any doujinshi about them and you should have less internet sites about them than Sonoko x Makoto. It's really an unusual coupling. That's why I'm so surprised it's so popular in western countries. o_O

I don't really understand what is the purpose of your question (I mean the topic). If you wanna know who's going to end up with shinichi, Aoyama already answered the question. If you wanna just tell your personnal opinion, I think very few people anwered the question here. Just telling AI/RAN doesn't explain why you think so. Thanks for your answer Kaoko. Well it depends on the point of view. I don't think it so saddening... I'm still happy to read DC for what it is. And appreciate it like that. I still believe in it a little. I mean, my favourite coupling reunited. But I won't have bad surprise if that doesn't happen. And it's the same about the plot with the MIB. Do you understand? So, I did 2 differents analysis of the japanese fandom. The first part is about the doujinshi production. I visited 6 different shops in Osaka and explained what a DC doujinshis' departement looks like. To explain it quickly, you can have one hundred or more BL doujinshis in a shop for only 8 or 10 doujinshis of BoysxGirl couplings. They mostly are about ShinxRan and I merely saw some CoxAi doujinshis. The second part is about the number of internet websites made by fans. I don't have time to translate it but I think you can understand the result of the tables (second analysis). I visited 4 Web search engine about DC and I compared the number of websites in each search engine. Of course, I separated the websites by couplings. We are not in MK. There is no reason for Gosho to show Kuroba meeting Conan. Conan is very clever so he would be able to recognize him as the Kid. As whatever you may think about it Kaito Kid isn't Conan's friend. Conan wants him to be arrested because he's a thief. But for Gosho Kaito is the hero of his other manga. Even if Kid can't be stronger (or more intelligent) than the DC hero (= Conan), Conan can't be stronger or more intelligent than Kaito for the same kind of reasons.

When I read the manga I'm thinking of the point of view of the character and it seems that Heiji is in love with Kazuha. I wrote a big reflexion about this point on my web site. But I'm fan for 10 years. And I don't think about DC only from the point of view of a fan. I also have acquiantances who are working in animation studio in France and in Japan or who are comics drawers, and I know the world of mangaka and the world of the animation studio is not so fantastic as people (especially manga fans) imagine it. I translated in french some interview of Gosho's working life (one part is in the Conan Drill) and I realized how hard is his job. I also know Gosho doesn't decide everything by himself. The DC publisher decide a lot of points in DC universe. Did you know for example that Heiji's appearance in volume 10 was not the original idea of Gosho? He originaly planed to draw the first appearance of Haibara. The publisher decided that he should create a new character (a friend rival) in this volume and Heiji was created. So knowing all this informations, my point of view is a bit different from an usual fan. That doesn't mean I'm true or something. But just I don't think about DC in the same way as you may do it. So now that's true, I'm thinking about the Boys Love point of view. I'm sure the publisher doesn't plan to make it official or something but they consider the popularity of the BL for the readers. And they give them some fan service scenes. Doing that, the fans who love canons are happy because BL or CoxAi or what you want will never be official, and the fans of non-canon are happy because there are still fan service scenes for all of them. I'm pretty sure the only reason Gosho accepted to draw Kid in DC was for the fan service (and because the editor asked for it). Kid doesn't have any other role than the rival and without girlfriend (in DC), he is the perfect candidate to be the BL lovers of Shinichi. In Japan, in the FANS WORLD (that's not true for normal readers) the most popular couple is ShinichixKaito. ShinxRan is the third couple, just next to HeijixShinichi. (I made an analysis in my website. I don't think you need to speak french to understand the graphics results. If you are interested, you can ask me) Sorry, this answer is a bit off topic. But that explains why I consider the interest of the publisher when I think about the possibility of the developpement of the main plot or the romance plot.

I think she is doing 平仮名 (Hiragana). ナ is a katakana. She may teach you な first. She won't use ナルト like in the manga. But she can use なると　like this picture:

To tell the truth I think there isn't any romantic development for the characters of Heiji, the Kid AND Haibara because they are still very popular with a kind of readers who want to see them involved with Conan/Shinichi. We had a lot of confessions in DC since 2 years but nothing about these characters. So I'm not really sure Gosho plans to end them up with someone at the end of the manga.

I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be a good idea for the sales of the manga. Most of the japanese readers are waiting for the couple Ran and Shinichi. And Gosho said he loves the childhood friends pairings so there is no chance he changes his mind about it. And Ran seems to be his favorite female character (he often says Ran is his favorite in interviews (like in Super digest Books)) with Yukiko (who looks like Fujiko from Lupin). But anyway, nobody answered the question about this topic: people who think Ai and Conan loves each other, what are the scenes in the manga that make you think about it. That would be interesting if you could develop your opinion.

Why shouldn't it have? Gosho always talk about DC as a Detective story AND a "love comedy". The humour and the comical part are also a part of the serie I think.

I don't think he plans that! XD But anyway, I don't see Gosho about his fans readers as a priority. If the fans stop reading the manga, that won't stop the usual readers to buy the manga. And a mangaka like Gosho sells manga to usual readers first. Well that's my opinion.

In my opinion, a relationship between Shiho and Shin wouldn't be more mature and adult in DC universe. And if you don't understand why I say that, I would like you show me some couple without a childish relationship. Even ErixKogoro and YusakuxYukiko are very childish in their couple. So I can't imagine that would change for another character. I would agree with that because DC is a "Love Comedy" after all (like Gosho calls it). But I think this is true for the "Regulars" only. And I think Hakuba is not the same kind of guest as Heiji or Shiratori. He only appeared 2 or 3 times in DC. And look at the Kid. He IS a regular but he doesn't have any girlfriend in DC universe. We saw Aoko once so we MAY imagine she is his childhood friend and is the girls he loves. But we never saw her twice. So there is no real proof. Anyway I still think Gosho wanna keep Hakuba for MK so I don't imagine him having a girlfriend.

A difficult topic: For the main plot, my favorite part is the volume 42. I think the other MIB's cases after vol42 are really disappointing. In romance, I love the mermaid's case (vol 28), the kidnapping of Heiji and Kazuha (vol 38) and also the spider mansion case (vol 25). For ShinRan, I think my favorite one is the case in volume 26 (especially the part in the school). For the cases, I was very impressed by the spider mansion case. Maybe more than the Moonlight Sonata. And I also liked the Shiragami case: I had a lot of fun because I usually don't try to solve the cases but, I did it that time and I found out the trick. If I should say which volume is my favorite, I would answer vol 28 or 38 because there are Heiji and Kazuha. But I think the best volume is volume 42.

This year Gosho said he had an idea for the end of DC but he doesn't know when he will be able to draw it. And even if we had a confession, the main plot (with the MIB) is far to be solved. So I can't believe the manga is close to the end.

I think Hakuba is the less interesting character in DC universe. He's only here as a guest and it seems Gosho doesn't plan to develop the character in another way. In my opinion, even if I don't like him, I think he has a better role in Magic Kaito universe. Gosho doesn't need to involve him more in the DC story. I would prefer Gosho develop more the MIB characters and the main plot (seems to be a dream... T__T) And I think Haibara deserve better than just a empty character as a potential boyfriend.

I think we don't know enough informations to find the answer of these questions about Akai/Okiya, Bourbon. If Gosho made the same job as usual, we'll learn major informations when the "Bourbon/Akai plot" will be solved. So I think we can't find a serious theory today. If you find the answer, you can't understand why or how without the pieces of puzzle Aoyama didn't give you. And if I'm wrong, that's just mean Gosho is really really tired and can't find any new good ideas.

I don't have any problem with the movie 7 because I think that Heiji's first love AND the fact Heiji is in love with Kazuha NOW may be two different points. I mean, he may think he had a crush on Kazuha when he was a boy. But even if he wanted to know who she was, he doesn't love his first love in the same way now. So he looked for her because he was curious (he's a detective after all). But now, he's in love with Kazuha in a different way. But he didn't realize it because this is only friendship for him. In any case, I still think Heiji wanted to say something to Kazuha in the attic. He didn't say it because he was on the phone with Conan, and maybe, he realized afterthought he wanted to tell her something ... strange (if he didn't realize his feeling, the fact he wanted to tell it may have frightened him). That's how I understand it. But I know we'll never know the answer. Anyway, if he didn't plan to tell anything important to Kazuha in the attic, the scene when he tells Kazuha he would tell her later what he meant has no meaning to be there. Well, we can imagine it as a fanservice scene. I know but this answer doesn't convince me. Heiji and Kazuha are so alike with Shinichi and Ran. When something happens to ShinRan, the same thing happens to the Kansai couple. Shinichi is in love with Ran and so is Heiji with Kazuha. Heiji is always really clumsy and embarrassed when he's about to say something stupid or when he lies. Even he didn't have time to tell her the truth, I think his face is too serious for this kind of answer. He should have thought about something important. But that doesn't need to be a confession. Maybe he wanted just to tell her important words like he cared about her or he was here to protect her so she hadn't to worry. Something like that. But I really don't imagine the scene was here just as a fan service scene and nothing else. 色々ヤバいトコやったしな。。。 "There were many terrible/dangerous things" (to Conan, at the end of the file) I don't know the correct translation but 色々 means Heiji was talking about different things. Not only the fact someone was about to shot him but also something else. If he didn't want to tell anything special to Kazuha, I think he just wouldn't have mentionned it to Kudo. Because it wasn't important at all. So, that's why I still think he had something serious on his mind. ... I hope you could understand my explanation ^^;
