I don't think Gin's a psychopath at all, he reminds me of a lot of somebody in the Sicilian Mafia with his loyalty. He will not betray his boss and will follow orders, even if he doesn't like it. Another thing about Gin is that he likes people who fight for their life (like a wild dog). I can see how Sherry pissed him off for years and years, she never really wanted to live. So Sherry to him is this little girl who got a high rank because of her natural genius and don't care piss about the organisation or living. While Gin probably had to work hard to get it.

Kazuha and Heiji, once Heiji actually figures out he likes her (which will take another 1000 chapters or so rofl). Cause Heiji is a hot blooded detective : D! Shinichi...eh...he might stammer about Holmes for a while, kiss her on the forehead, then promptly faint xD.

I don't see a lot of Detective Conan fandom in central/eastern Canada from where I am at the moment. Whenever I order a volume from my local manga store the store owner would give me a "what are you a little kid or something?" kinda look. There is also no DC fanart at conventions or DC cosplays.

hmm It could be someone from the FBI. James Black for example is a popular choice. Not sure why Haibara would be surprised though. As for Gin's actions my theory is that Gin is not that close to "boss" even though he's very loyal to the organisation and "boss". Gin doesn't know about Sherry's experiments regarding immortality unlike Vermouth. "Boss" doesn't seem interested in telling him either.

I hope you're kidding. If you're just saying mean things for the sake of attacking people I don't want to talk to you anymore. ._. It was the chapter with "Agasa's first love". Ai says people in America make fun of her because of her appearance (which happened to me when I first went over seas, it depends where you go). Hmm by instinct though, I mean the instinct to protect and help other people (even serial killers) without a plan (I will block that bullet with my soccer ball), thinking of consequence (will I die?) or morals (do they deserve it?). I guess in a way it's not "instinct" since it's going against your natural instinct to protect yourself xD. Hmm on second thought, what you say it's true, especially in DC. I'm sure this sort of thing isn't unique. Shinichi has it for sure (giving CPR to people who might be poisoned in the mouth for example). Maybe this is something Ran learned from Shinichi? Or Shinichi from Ran? They're childhood friends afterall. I guess it's simply a trait I find infuriating, yet interesting, and something I admire very much. I can't imagine protecting people I don't know from bullets, seriously, especially if that person was an ass to me. Also I thought the fact that Ran doesn't assist in the solving of any crimes (unless by accident) is very obvious xD? Her derp moments with UFO and Kappa is just xD. If she was a "perfect" girl character, she would be solving crimes, kicking villain ass, be a child genius with an IQ over 9000, and have like 100000 ACTUALLY COOL HANDSOME admirers instead of the 1 who gave up before he even started and ran off to America. I seriously don't get the "perfect girl" character from her, I mean she's even a little fat because she eats so much cake xD. When the subject she really loves (Chinese History) is FINALLY relavant in a case, she gets immediately shadowed over by Koumei and Conan (that was so sad to me LOL).

You know me so well <3. Kukukuku.... . Actually Megure is a total Kudou fangirlboyman. He's always like "Oh Kudou-kun you're finally here! The savior of the Tokyo police force! (do the work for us <3!) I'm not sure why he was annoyed with "the other detective" though. Maybe a shout out to all the stupid teenager detective-wanna-be that the police must get on a daily basis. I put him on a level a little higher then Kogoro and Takagi in terms of deduction. He seems to be able to make the proper observations. It was HILLARIOUS when little Shinichi stumped both him a Kogoro with his puzzle though xD.

Did someone say KaiShin HeiShin? *loves KaiShin HeiShin* With that said I only manage to skim so here is what I think. @Aeyra: "She 'lost' her mom in elementary and is still trying to get her back whereas Ai didn't care much in the first place." What are you talking about? Of course Ai cares about her mom! We had a whole file where Ai smiles so sweetly because she finally hears her mom's voice for the first time in 18 years! And I think Ai always cares about her mom even though she's so afraid. Everyone in the Org calls her mom "hell's angel". It was probably traumatic for her to think all her life that her mom was "evil" and that her mom never cared about her. She was so happy to know that her mother was a good person that cares about her, she listens to the tapes over and over...*feels like crying just thinking about it*. @dreznovk: "in fact, because Ran has too many good things about her without a noticeable flaw make me grow tired of her." I don't quite agree, in comparison with other characters (Haibara included). I think Ran has most obvious flaws. The obvious one is that she doesn't solve every case with magical big brain powers or any sort of unnatural genius. She struggles with finding the culprit to "simple cases" just like a normal civilian human being with no training should be. She cries easily, she gets scared easily, she's unreasonable sometimes, she uses violence when things don't go her way and she's very very stubborn. She's not the prettiest one, she doesn't have the biggest bewbs eva, she likes boy bands unreasonably just like every silly teenage girl, she's kinda slow (she has her hillarious derp moments), not that witty (she can't tell Sonoko or Shinichi off like ever), and she doesn't understand relationships yet she believes in teh powa of loveee (unlike me). I'm really not sure why people think she's perfect Mary Sueish at all. Sure she's KIND, but then everyone in the DC world is kind, Heiji, Ayumi, Haibara, Conan. I do think she's unique though. She's a kind character WHO IS NOT BRILLIANT and cannot think of 10 different awesome ways to stop a bullet. She's not afraid of looking stupid, she can only do what her instinct tells her. That's what makes her so unique to me. She is a normal kind girl in a world full of genius villains and genius detectives. Yet she tries to hard to protect everyone her own way.

I don't think any character gets on my nerves. I become disappointed with some of the characters because of character decay (Agasa comes to mind) but even then they don't get on my nerves. Except in the moves, everyone freakin pisses me off in the movies. Especially Gin and Ran. WTF HAPPENED TO YOUR PERSONALITY AND COMMON SENSE YOU GUYS. NO GIN, NO HELICOPTER FOR YOU. Warning, long rant about why I love characters coming ahead. I hope you don't get too bored xD. You can just pick the name that interest you. I love Genta. It's hilarious how he's a god at fishing, how he tries to be so honest, and how he threatens to beat up people who are picking on Haibara-san (awwww). It's also kinda cool how we got to meet his dad and figure out where some of his rough behavior comes from. His mom is really smart and funny too xD. Ayumi is awesome, especially the scenes she has with Haibara. I love how at the beginning even though Haibara is cold to her she was determined to treat all her friends equally with love. I also love how she inspired Haibara to fight against the B.O. "I won't run away!" omg I cried during that part it was so sweet and inspirational ;w;. Mitsuhiko~ omg I don't remember guys being that sweet, EVER. He ran all the way to a forest to catch fireflies (or an insect like that) because Ayumi and Ai said they never saw one before. That's just awwwwww! He's also inquisitive and tries to be as smart as Conan, before Haibara tells that he just has to learn as much as he can (that chapter is the cutest chapter ever btw). I don't remember being that smart when I was little I was more of a dreaming kinda kid xD. I think if he keeps this up he'll be a really smart kid indeed. I find his crush on Haibara really sweet, he has excellent taste in girls! Sonoko. Omg in my top 10 character in DC right here. She's a rich girl who doesn't follow the social norms of a rich girl. She's loud, she's crude sometimes, and she does whatever the hell she wants. I really found it interesting that she always wants Kogoro to drive her to places because she doesn't want the butlers and servants watching her. She's probably under pressure all the time to act accordingly. But despite that she's best friends with a relatively poor girl. I really like her relationship with Ran~ she teases her and can't see through her mask but tries to cheer her up the best she can. I also like how she will chase after guys but is actually a very pure girl at heart. She likes guys that are good looking but will only actually go out with them if they're good looking on the inside too. I think that's why she never fell for Shinichi ;D. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how she's like the only girl in the series who thinks Shinichi act too dramatic and =__= whenever he does it! From that she's top 10 immediately xD! Eisuke! Another one of my favorite characters ever right here. Seriously he has like the saddest past ever, just like Shiho's. Except unlike Shiho he has a really happy go lucky personality and determination to fight. Let's see...he was born sick and can never really play with other children. His mother died. His dad died. His sister who is his only living relative who gave her blood to save his life vanishes. He grew up alone and obsessed with finding out WTF is happening, never forgetting about his sister and just moving on with his life. Seriously I think the only reason why people don't like him is because he looks girly D<. He's proven himself to be briliant, figuring out where the location of his sister is even though he's against the freakin FBI, figure out that Conan was the real "sleeping Kogoro" the first time we see him, solving cases by "accidently" tripping on things, and even getting Shinichi to confess his real identity. He's also the only DC main character that really showed his dark side by trying to stab a comatose patient with a pair of scissors : D : D. Eisuke = awesomeness. I can keep going about other characters but maybe some other time xD. Thanks for reading~
