"Hey, don't you think that motorcyclist is...well...has been stalking us for...how long?" Chelsea questioned.
"You're right," Misaki-chan muttered. "Think he or she is up to something?"
"Probably," IdentityUnknown muttered.
She tossed two pistols back. "You two know how to shoot, right? Just try to distract the cyclist. And do try not to make yourselves too obvious."
Misaki and Chelsea blinked before firing at the motorcyclist. The cyclist narrowly dodged the bullets and for a few seconds, no one made a sound. Then the person on the motorcycle took out two pistols and began firing. The bullets hit the van but luckily, no one was hurt. Misaki and Chelsea ducked down, pulling Monsi with them as Sayomi, Wildheart, and Cure-kun scrunched up. Lia winced with every shot, covering her ears as she hid behind the seat.
The cyclist pulled the triggers again, but no bullets came out. Looking slightly disappointed, the cyclist veered off the main road.
"...We're good," IdentityUnknown said after a few tense minutes. "The cyclist is gone."
Everyone stretched, though no one spoke for a few minutes. Then Sayomi asked:
"Who was he?"
"I don't know," IdentityUnknown said. "All I can tell is that he or she wasn't aiming to kill and was obviously receiving orders from someone. Either way, we can assume we're being watched.
"I'm also beginning to doubt that Aeyra and the others are still at the location I received. If these people are part of the same group, they're obviously extremely deadly and Nero at the very least would be paranoid enough to move them out. We'll check anyways."
"How do you know they weren't aiming to kill?" Lia asked quietly.
"The cyclist should've aimed for the tires. They would blow and we'd be sitting ducks," IdentityUnknown replied. "And if the cyclist can ride a motorcycle while shooting with two guns in each hand, they must have enough talent to blow out a tire."
The rest of the group sat in silence.
