  1. The fact that everyone riding the Bell Train Express were to undergo questioning after the explosion, there was nothing Conan can do about it. I also considered the idea that Vermouth is that kind of villain who wants to be challenged. There are a lot of things Vermouth knows about Conan that if only she was decisive to end Sherry's life and Shinichi's disguise as Conan, Gin would have discovered that the person he drugged with the APTX4869 wasn't killed, but rather made him smaller. The first instance that proves this point is the forest scene of Vermouth and Conan. Vermouth challenged Conan that if he managed to wake up first, she will lead him to the boss. Vermouth waked up first. He could have brought him to the organization, but she didn't. And in this latest BO story arc, Yukiko challenged Vermouth that if they manage to 'win', Vermouth will stop chasing after Sherry. Of course we all knew that she lost this time. So, maybe she will consider Yukiko's proposal, or maybe not. It's also unclear whether Bourbon saw Haibara sleeping behind Professor Agasa or not. But at the same time, Vermouth reiterated that Sherry "must not be allowed to remain in this world", thus her intention to kill Sherry too. Vermouth is indeed the most intriguing character in this series.

    Bourbon

I haven't read any theories about Amuro yet. But, my assumption about him is like this. BTW, I'm with the Bourbon=Scar Akai=Amuro Tooru theory. After Amuro completed his study and training in the police academy, he is on his way to become an officer. But an unexpected, tragic event that involved Akai (and another character that is special to Amuro and Akai might have offended/encountered) could have changed the decision of Amuro, choosing to join the Black Organization. I assume that my theory is plausible with the event happening after Akai, who disguised as Moroboshi Dai, was exposed to be an FBI agent infiltrating the BO. If Amuro wants to get revenge on Akai, it is possible that he will join BO and kill him. Although some plot holes in my theory are why is the need for Amuro to join BO just to exact revenge with Akai and who is the character that might be involved in their 'rivalry'. This tactic would be very dangerous for him and has a high chance of failure. Why would he reveal himself to the BO and wink at Chianti, who has a sniper pointed at him already. If he's confident that BO won't make a scene in a public place such a mall, wouldn't he have thought the possibility of him being tracked by the BO with his disguise? It's just a very dangerous and high-risk tactice for him. A major hole I see in this is that BO is still unknown to the Japanese police, as what Gosho is portraying throughout the series, AS OF NOW. No signs that the Japanese police is aware of BO's existence. So, why would the police benefit from stopping Bourbon? He's just a new member of the BO. The only thing that could make the BO wary is the fact that Bourbon could reveal to the police the motives and objectives of the org, if ever he's captured alive. P.S. SORRY for butting in to you and Chek's conversation. :-D
  3. I think I'm better than Conan/Shinichi when it comes to making my loved one feel special and always happy. Now I get so cheesy.
  4. I think Akai won't reveal himself until the final showdown. Kir's mission will always be her priority. Akai knows this.

    Bourbon

I kinda agree on the theory that if Scar Akai is Bourbon, and Bourbon is a detective, he wouldn't be that naive to disguise Akai with a scar. That would be like overdoing it on Bourbon's part. However, if Bourbon has YET to see the video of how Akai supposedly died (if there was a video of it after all), he probably thinks that by disguising Akai, who was left in a car that was bombed, a scar is a good prop.
  6. I don't know how will I react when the boss is finally uncovered. I mean, if he/she is a character that is one of the popular guesses, I'd have to be really shocked. But, if he/she is somehow a character who was rarely mentioned in the manga, then I guess it would be an ordinary feeling for me, although I will still be elated how he became the boss. Gosho Aoyama, you're really a genius. You're my idol!

  9. You're addicted to DC when.. You have already downloaded half of the 600+ episodes of the anime series. And plans to complete it in the near future.
  10. Well, I may have exaggerated it a bit by saying it's fatal. Thanks for the heads up! ___________________________________ Based from Chekhov's post, it is highly possible that the car Jodie used has an interior trunk release lever or something. Because if I remember correctly, the release of the manga version of that episode is way beyond 2001 already.
  11. Great find on the random plane. Thanks for pointing that out! :-) I'm not being too much realistic or overlooking too much things here. But, how did Ran opened the trunk? If it's opened from the get-go, isn't it easier for Ran to overhear the things Vermouth and Jodie are talking to? As far as I know, Ran is a bit knowledgeable of the English language (although not as good as Shinichi). I think the fact that the FBI was mentioned in the conversation is enough for Ran to be suspicious and curious about Jodie.
  12. I saw some flaws in one of the most thrilling FBI-BO encounter episode, the Head-to-Head Match with the Black Organization episode (345). During the climax (the story-telling/question and answer portion between Vermouth and Jodie), isn't it natural for Ran to overhear what these two ladies are talking? I mean, if she's in the trunk all the time, she would normally be curious on what's happening outside, especially that the car has already stopped. If ever she did overhear what Vermouth and Jodie talked about, she must already know that Sharon and Chris Vineyard are the same person. She must have gotten curious also of the name Vermouth. About the reason why Vermouth had to steal those files that his dad Kogoro solved. The reason why Vermouth disguised as Dr. Araide. Even the connection of Haibara to Vermouth. And lastly, when the two ladies are conversing beside the car about Conan being 'Cool Kid/Guy', Ran should have heard it and get suspicious with the real identity of Conan. I just don't buy the idea that the trunk remained close until Ran decided to save Haibara. Holding your breath for three minutes could be fatal already. And I'm pretty sure that conversation between Vermouth and Jodie lasted more than that. So, I presume Ran heard their conversation.

    Bourbon

I think another conclusive evidence to your claim is the scene where Okiya and Jodie accidentally bumped to each other as Jodie was trying to prevent Jodie from following Scar Akai outside the mall. I think Okiya did this to prevent Jodie from being seen by the BO and suspect that he already knows that a Scar Akai is roaming around the city. It would be very complicated for her safety if the BO suspects her and the FBI that they also know the possibility of Akai being alive. Remember, Bourbon is also secretive, just like Vermouth. A famous theory here states that Bourbon did the Scar Akai thing to find Akai, whom he believed survived the Reiha Pass incident with Kir and never died. But at the end of the episode, I was convinced that it is 99% accurate that Scar Akai isn't Akai. It's because when Scar Akai was spotted by Gin, he wasn't threatened at all. I assume that he already knew that it was Bourbon, imitating Scar Akai. That's why he said this line to Kir, "Always doing as he pleases, that bastard irritates me as usual." When Kir asked who was Gin referring to, he answered, "Like what you said, one you would wish only existed in novels, a private eye like Sherlock Holmes." This description was referring to Bourbon, as what Kir said earlier than this part.

    Bourbon

I know that someone may have mentioned the answer in this same thread already ( a little bit lazy back reading). In the Red T-shirts case, Jodie received a warning from Akai. If Bourbon is Scar Akai, why did he gave that warning to Jodie? If we recall, Scar Akai was at the same shop almost at the same time with Jodie. Thanks for answering! Just got curious after re-watching the episode.
  15. I have a feeling that Bourbon will side with Shinichi at the end. The fact that only he and Vermouth knows that Shinichi is still alive. I'm assuming that with the thinking that somehow, Bourbon will discover that Conan is Shinichi. Or he already knows the secret from Vermouth. 3-5 new BO members more before we reach the start of the end of this series, IMO. It would be interesting too to see a new BO member that is as cold and as bad as Gin. Because as I see it right now, only Gin has the capability to really push Conan/Shinichi to the limit. It would be interesting to see two fierce BO members that Shinichi will try to stop. I would like the ending to happen in Beika City. A chaotic feel to it and Shinichi, Akai, Heiji, FBI, CIA, to join forces and stop the BO. I'm so excited!!! I have another question guys. How do you think will Conan/Shinichi stop BO without shedding blood?
  16. Although I trust Conan that he won't kill anybody, but if the worse comes to worst and he's in the brink of death with either Gin or any dangerous BO member, will Conan sacrifice his own life for the sake of humanity? And him possibly dying won't assure the destruction of the Org. I don't want Shinichi/Conan to die. Please, Aoyama.
  17. So you are saying that by this time, Haibara already made a permanent antidote of the APTX 4869 for Conan? But for me, it would be much cooler if he beat the org by being Conan. It would be interesting to see Gin's reaction once he encounter Kudo Shinichi in that kind of state. So you're saying that BO is really a BIG organization? And there is already a thread somewhere here in the forum about whether BO has a 'base' or any 'hideout'. So, it would be a big revelation if ever. The reason on why I personally think Conan must use a gun in taking down the BO is because all of the 'main' members of BO are trained in using guns. It would be hard to confront them if Conan will only depend on his stun gun, bow tie, and other inventions of Professor Agasa.
  18. I hope someone can make a complete list of PLOT-RELATED EPISODES of Detective Conan. I know that having this idea, I must do the initiative. But, I have no time to do that due to my studies right now. I hope someone can take the cudgels and make this little sacrifice for the sake of all those new to DC and want to catch-up with the latest EP quickly.
  19. First of all, we must clear the mystery on whether BO is a BIG organization. Meaning, aside from Gin, Vermouth, and all the other 'named' members, do they have some kind of 'force' to defend the organization and anokata from any future plans to destroy them? Then, we go to the question of how Conan/Shinichi will beat BO. It would be interesting on how Aoyama will think of a good and unique way to beat the org. Will he make Conan back to Shinichi? Or he will put a harder task on him by letting him face BO as Conan. Will he involve the Japanese police? I'm pretty sure the FBI and CIA will connive to think of a way to beat the org, of course together with Conan and probably Heiji and who will be their ally between Sera, Tooru, Okiya, and other important characters in the series. Will DC turn into an action-filled series? Will Conan use guns? Does he have to kill Gin and even anokata to that extent just to stop the BO? So many questions in my mind.
  20. I have my own query on a minor flaw in this series. Why does it seems that Conan uses the voice changer bow tie of his without any problem? There are times wherein he has yet to hear the voice of the person he will mimic, but is able to pull it off effortlessly. And it seems that by just revolving the circle on his bow tie randomly, he can manage to mimic the voice of the person he needs to.
  21. My classmate teased me before about watching/reading Detective Conan. He said it's too boring and childish. He said Death Note is way better than DC. I just gave him a WTF look. And in my mind, I said, "Are you effin' serious?"
  22. Maybe we can attribute it to the fact that Akai, which most of use assume is Akai, is Akemi's lover, which is Haibara's sister. Correct me if I'm wrong. But as far as I remember, Haibara only knows Akai through his alias when he infiltrated the Black Org, Moroboshi Dai. She doesn't know that he's an FBI agent and his real name is Akai Shuuichi.
  23. I'm very elated with this guy, Amuro Tooru. He's the most interesting and mysterious person in DC right now. First things first, my take: TOORU is BOURBON/SCAR AKAI I think Amuro being a student of a police academy, as Date Wataru stated, is a key clue to Tooru's past. The following assumptions are still weak as I'm still on the process of re-watching/reading the important events that can help in deciphering Tooru's identity. Tooru is a good and competitive detective. Always finishing first and outdoing a great police detective in Date, as stated in the Takagi case, is a hard feat. Meaning, Tooru is really above-par when it comes to him being a detective, which leads to the popular theory of him acting dumb in his first case in DC. Tooru joining the BO has something to do with Akai joining FBI. My weak theory, for now, is that after attending the police academy with Date, something happened between him and Akai that sparked their rivalry. I'm not thinking of the accuracy of the dates and events that involved Akemi, which is one of the suspected reasons for their rivalry. After learning that Akai is an FBI agent, I assumed that Tooru might have joined BO to beat Akai. I also agree with the theory that Tooru is out to find and kill Akai. He could have deduced already that there was something wrong with how Akai was killed by Kir. And therefore, is out to find where Akai is. Lastly, I think Tooru is now on 'observation' mode. I also believe he already knows the capabilities of Conan, and supposedly, knows his real identity, being Shinichi Kudo. And with that explosive 800th chapter where the three (Sera, Tooru, Okiya) met, Tooru is out to know who Sera and Okiya really is. And I think the same applies for Sera and Okiya.
