It's actually good that 新一(Shinichi)　turned into コナン(Conan)　because it makes him more close to 蘭(Ran) becuase he now knows more about 蘭 (Ran) and makes him more closer to her.

oh well, i would still prefer the real manga in my hands so I don't have to go on the computer every time I want to read it.

okay , i only speak english and arabic but i also have the japanese keyboard so sometimes when i am bored, i write stuff in 日本語. after watching the first 30 episodes, I just watch the episodes in random order and I use the Detective Conan World Wiki to see which character appeared in which episode(s) and I don't read the manga. (I would if there was a shop nearby that sells them)
