Yes yes Brussels is really cool It was in the newspaper a few days ago, that the New York Times had choses Brussels as the best destination for a city trip. And if the New York Times says so, it's certainly worth it, right?!

I don't really know myself, but it's said that, if you've learnt French from France, you wouldn't understand Canadian French. My sister went to Canada a few years ago, and she said she didn't understand anything there. I think the basics are the same, but pronunciation is completely different. I don't know for sure.
