/facepalm.... the triangle makes 30-60-90 so i dont even have to do pythagorean in the first step,... so since the triangle is 6-x-12, it is 6-6√3-12, then to find the height, 6-x-6√3.... Height... 6√3 = √108, (√108)^2 = 108 36+x^2=108 <------------┘ x^2 = 72 x=√72 x=6√2 Volume of pyramid (1/3)(6√2)(144) =144(2√2) =288√2 Volume of Octahedral 2(288√2) =576√2 cm^3... Wait, HUH? What am I doing wrong?

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, let's Break that down there... Why was he in a hotel 3 MILES from his HOUSE?? That's suspicious. Just to make some story in to it. It's usually boring if things are missed out. Imagine DC solving the case right away.... not very much fun is it? What reason did he have to going to the hotel? To meet someone? If u seen what Kudo said, it would be more clear. His deductions are very good. (I'm jealous) A maid discovered him. Why was she in that room? About to clean it because she thought it was empty? Or was he a customer? again, just a part of story.... Why was he PEACEFULLY laid on the bed? If the poison had really destroyed his internal organs, wouldn't he have been in pain, even if it was for an instant? I just made things up so that it would be more fun rather than boring, also i wanted to be DCW related... And how was he given the poison if he was lying on the bed? Someone must have laid him there. He was injected with poison. And again, Part of story. if someone carried the body, it would have been witnessed, btw. He's only seventeen, correct? Well, what happened to his parents? Did they die? Seems a little early... Also, there's no information about his 'soon to be wife'. Just that he was to be married soon. Who is the fiancee? Again, Just part of story, and the person who died is me... my parents are busy working until late night.. rest are just part of story... Another thing. On the note, it says 'Jan 04/2009'. Why wouldn't January be in numbers like the others? '01/04/2009'. Why is Jenna a 'loved one' and someone he 'trusts'? It would be his sister-in-law, but still... I don't think they would be THAT close. Why is Jenna listed first in the letter? Wouldn't it make more sense to be 'Sis, John, Jenna'? And 'why I did leave you'? That wording sounds strange... And in the ending, it seems that 'mourn my death' and 'please move on' could fit on the same line... Very good observations. though the structure of letter don't matter.. or does it?

ugh this is making my head crack lol... Been a while solving math problems like these. lesee.... 2 reg. Sq. Pyramid. = Octahedral Each edges = 12 cm... so.. here's what I did. Find the height ..|\..........Pythagorean theorem........ volume of pyramid .X|-\ 12 cm...6^2 + x^2 = 12^2........┌>. (1/3) (12^2)(6√3) ..|__\........36 + x^2 = 144..........ㅣ. 144(2√3) ...6cm........x^2 = 108...............ㅣ. 288√3 ..............x = √108 = 6√3-----------.. so.. volume of Octahedral is 576√3 cubic Centimeters ... i think i'm lost or missing a step.

@Detective Kudo Your deductions are really good. (I'm jealous) I haven't even thought of that when I was solving it!(it does make sense, really!) You are so close to solving this case. (Don't let that number 3 fool you.) well, there is only one murderer, and there will be a very good reason why later today. But, well, you really don't have to know the bible really well. (not THAT much) If you have one, you should check it out! (That's how I solved it) This is a mystery I heard learned from a church member 3 years ago. (He is also DC fan in Korea now. Lost contact though Q_Q.) @Raoku & Chelseaj500 Wait ~5 hours and you'll see. This is a though nut to crack after all.
