  3. (using internet while pretending research) Thank you all~! @AiLoveConan Yup I see that now. I did draw more puff-ier but I guess it didn't look as puffy as it is.. Probably because I drew the face a bit longer when I was fixing it. I do use the guide line, but I drew it in to show you what it looks like when I imagine the lines. I don't really draw it, but I do sometimes when I have trouble with proportions. I'm trying to draw w/o reference, but I just don't know how to fix the proportions yet... I only can draw the faces somewhat.
  4. So Gosho was predicting the futuure...? O_o
  5. Yay~ *ignores Conan* Haibara~ jk;; I can't wait, but it will take much longer for it to come out dubbed... 뉴_뉴...
  6. I had the same reaction when I looked at Japanese Hiragana/Katakana chart. + you have to learn Kanji... Only reason Korean is easier is because 1. All you have to know is how to pronounce the words. We do use Hanja, but we write them in Korean (sometimes in parenthesis to clarify what word is written, but mostly, we go with the flow of language.) 2. It takes time, but it's actually much easier than English since there are less tricky way to pronounce the word. Korean letters are made with only one pornounciation (with some rules to pronounce them in certain cases for "ㅇ") so it won't be much difficult once you get the hang of it. After mastering how to read, write, and speak; only thing left is learning words and grammar. Then advanced stuff like Hanja. 3. According to the history Chinese characters were very difficult to learn (and it was only taught to riches), King Se-jong decided to make a new language in order to have the people (poors, pheasants, farmers) understand what the notices say, and learn to communicate by writing. I'd say Korean and Japanese are equally difficult. It may not look like Korean use Hanja very often, but even the basic word like "우유" (Oo-Yoo), is actually Hanja: "牛乳" meaning "Cow Milk". Similarily, "모유" (Mo-Yoo), is "母乳" meaning "Mother Milk" (in English, we call it "Breast Milk") Basically, in Korean, you learn Hanja without knowing it, except for the writing since it is spoken more often. Sometimes it is better to learn Hanja because you can catch similar words faster, like the example above. "유" (Yoo) was used as the Hanja: "乳" meaning "Milk" so if you put various words(if the combined word exists,) you can actually understand it's a type of milk. other examples are: 두유 "Doo-Yoo", Soy Milk 마유"Ma-Yoo", Horse Milk 당유 "Dang-Yoo", Condensed Milk(Dang means Sugar, but we know it as Condensed Milk)
  7. Detective Conan was on TV some 10 or 20 mins ago. So They do air DC in Japanese Channel, but it was old, somewhere ep 1~27 since the ending was the first one (step by step)

      Monsi

What's the name of the channel?

  8. LOL this is so cute~ I like your adorable drawings~! Conan's glasses... >_< +1~~~~
  9. First 3 pics are especially for Miwako Smiles. I'm still working on it. This is how I draw the faces. So first, It looks like this, a circle(actually it's bit more like an oval, depending on the angle) with some lines and a V. The two ines across the face are for the eyes and the other line cutting the face in half just tells you which direction the face is facing and for proportion reasons. Then I draw in (in order) eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and glasses. Then I draw hair. Just by looking at the pic I just start skeching and erasing a lot. then Voila~ Proportions are off, but anyone want to guess where this is from? Anyways,,,,;;;;; Phewwww~~!!! These took wayy too long... =_= I better stop proscrinating Before After: Eyes are too small 뉴_뉴 Before After: Remember I said not to touch your drawings? Yeah, you can see that ugly smudge... Before After: I just gave up on his Suit... =_= Before After: I could have added more detail but too lazy.. sorry. Before After: This one took more time than the others only because there are 2 characters. I'm tired lol. And I better start using my colored pencils.... P.S. Anyone know how I minimize these pics? I see some people do it like you can click to enlarge thing. I really want to know.
  10. well, for basics... (There are more, but that is on the Combination Categry.) of course, like Japanese, a,e,i,o,u are all short vowels when romanized. I put it so that it is easier to see which letter makes which sound. (Caps) The ones in the Parenthesis are alternative pronounciation. ㄱ: Gi-uk (Ki-uk): G sound; sometimes K ㄴ: Ni-eun : N sound ㄷ: Di-geut : D Sound ㄹ: Ri-eul (Li-eul) : R or L sound ㅁ: Mi-eum : M Sound ㅂ: Bi-eup : B sound ㅅ: Si-ot (SHi-ot) : S sound; sometimes SH ㅇ: I-eung (EE-eung) : No sound, But there are rules for this consonant. ㅈ: Zi-eut (Ji-eut) : Z and J sound ㅊ: CHi-eut : CH sound ㅋ: Ki-euk : K sound as well as strong C. Sometimes Q. ㅌ: Ti-geut : T sound ㅍ: Pi-eup : P sound; sometimes Ph and F (But Korean does not have F or PH sound so we make P sound instead) ㅎ: Hi-eung : H sound ㅏ: A ㅑ: YA ㅓ: U ㅕ: YU ㅗ: O ㅛ: YO ㅜ: OO ㅠ: YOO ㅡ: EU ㅣ: I (EE) and the chart.... (oh my god this is going to kill me) 가 갸 거 겨 고 교 구 규 그 기 (Ga Gya Guh Gyuh Go Gyo Goo Gyoo Geu Gi) 나 냐 너 녀 노 뇨 누 뉴 느 니 (Na Nya Nuh Nyuh No Nyo Noo Nyoo Neu Ni) 다 댜 더 뎌 도 됴 두 듀 드 디 (Da Dya Duh Dyuh Do Dyo Doo Dyoo Deu Di) 라 랴 러 려 로 료 루 류 르 리 (Ra Rya Ruh Ryuh Ro Ryo Roo Ryoo Reu Ri) 마 먀 머 며 모 묘 무 뮤 므 미 (Ma Mya Muh Myuh Mo Myo Moo Myoo Meu Mi) 바 뱌 버 벼 보 뵤 부 뷰 브 비 (Ba Bya Buh Byuh Bo Byo Boo Byoo Beu Bi) 사 샤 서 셔 소 쇼 수 슈 스 시 (Sa Sya Suh Syuh So Syo Soo Syoo Seu Si) 아 야 어 여 오 요 우 유 으 이 (a ya uh yuh o yo oo yoo eu i) 자 쟈 저 져 조 죠 주 쥬 즈 지 (Za Zya Zuh Zyuh Zo Zyo Zoo Zyoo Zeu Zi) 차 챠 처 쳐 초 쵸 추 츄 츠 치 (Cha Chya Chuh Chyuh Cho Chyo Choo Chyoo Cheu Chi) 카 캬 커 켜 코 쿄 쿠 큐 크 키 (Ka Kya Kuh Kyuh Ko Kyo Koo Kyoo Keu Ki) 타 탸 터 텨 토 툐 투 튜 트 티 (Ta Tya Tuh Tyuh To Tyo Too Tyoo Teu Ti) 파 퍄 퍼 펴 포 표 푸 퓨 프 피 (Pa Pya Puh Pyuh Po Pyo Poo Pyoo Peu Pi) 하 햐 허 혀 호 효 후 휴 흐 히 (Ha Hya Huh Hyuh Ho Hyo Hoo Hyoo Heu Hi) These are the basics. Now Combinations.... that is going to make my fingers bleed.
  11. If anyone know how to add it on the wiki, which I have no clue how. here are the Korean Opening lyrics in korean. I can work on English translation as well. Op- 1 빛이 될거야 (I will be the light) op- 2 퍼즐 (PUZZLE) op- 3 꿈을 향해 (Towards a Dream) op- 4 Love is Thrill, Shock, Suspense op- 5 바람의 라라라 (LaLaLa of the Wind) op- 6 Growing of my Heart op- 7 Love for you op- 8 빛 (Light) op- 9 Tomorrow is the Last Time Phew~....
  12. I agree with Mohorovicic. but if you have read some really old books, their grammar sounds funny, but it's the correct form.
  13. Its funny though, it's like even though I forget, my fingers know it as if they have brains.
  14. I'd like to, but Moho haven't finished the basics yet. and I'm not sure If I can make a new topic for it...
  15. I hve to go off soon, but I might be able to get bak on, which I'm not sure if I really can.

  16. I tried to play drums, but I have no idea hw to separate myself to make 5 different beats...
  17. I was the slowest reader but the only person to memorize every single pieces of music that we played. Have you seen Sound of Music? That piece is very long. I think it was about 20 mins to play everything about 250 measure without counting the repeats. I memorized it.
  18. I do have it, but it's broken, and my parents are not going to let me buy anything related to music. They think it's waste of time. and it was whose idea to play piano(10 years ago only for a year, I forgot everything ), clarinet, flute, cello, bass, and guitar? My parents... I have no metronome and I'm really bad at tempo when I play alone... I know this is a bad habit for musician not to have metronome and tuner, but here's something worse... I can't read music, as in, I can't read and play at the same time. When I play, I have to hear it first, then I memorize the notes. I have to write the notes down or else I can't play it. ...I was scolded by my music teachers and other students because of that habit. scold me if you want KKLT, but I just can't....
  19. My music teacher told me I don't need one because I tune it accurately, even for low notes which he said it is the toughest to tune because lower notes tend to make different sounds before it makes its own sound (?idk what he meant by that.) Hm. Interesting. so I'm not tone-deaf? maybe it's like cure-kun said, that I'm "paranoid".
  20. *reads posts* hmmm... interesting. I never noticed "being a Parranoid". but reall, I just can't sttand it you know? looks like you know how I feel, KKLT, right? and I don't get one thing, Am I Tone-deaf or no? O-o Cure-kun's not Perfect pitched? hmmm.... weird. it looked like he was. oh and I forgot he playED violin...
  21. BTW, my wish list will be something related to Haibara (or Shiho). You know I am a big fan of her. Drawing/Fanfic, doesn't really matter. Since Cure-kun wants the samething, no need for doubles. *works on drawing...*
  22. Hey Cammy long time no see. It's Yohan whose been on all the time. Cure-kun is the one who is a "father" apparently <_< I still can't believe it either. Cure-kun is the one with the "love story".. it's a bit long to explain. i'll try to post on Bio when I can... about everything...

  23. That pretty much explains Yohan.
