And also, Mabel, the second sentence is incorrect. It should be "Je apprends". En francais, tu ne conjugate pas 'etre' quand tu dis tu fais un action. In french language you only conjugate apprendre, it is not like english, we use no helping verbs. It was difficult for me to understand helping verbs when I begin learning english. However, I am better now, at least I hope so!' For someone that is learning french... bon travail
