I use it as reference all the time when writing fan fiction or just when I can't remember something, so I decided, hey, why not join the forum? I'm hoping to make some new friends who I can talk to about the series, since I have absolutely no friends who are interested in the series (which I'm somewhat glad about because it can be my thing. xD) I've been watching Conan since it was on Adultswim back in '04/05 (can't remember which one) and well, I guess I could say it's the main reason I like mysteries, since it somewhat ushered in my watching CSI, Law and Order, NCIS, House, etc... I'm not usually one to join forums (and if I do I generally don't stay long) but I was browsing through this one and saw some actual intelligence (as expected from fans of a giant mystery series) and just had to join. Welcome to DCW Malicious Ink,i live in the US and also watched it as case closed before watching the japanese sub version,btw interesting forum name, have fun Thanks! I used to get up at five am to "do homework" and watch Case Closed haha. I was really annoyed when it was canceled, especially since I liked the voice actor for Jimmy (Jerry Jewell) and had some trouble adjusting to watching Detective Conan since it was Japanese audio. Malicious Ink 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Conan sounded too girly for a little boy in the English series. To be honest, I liked two people's voices; Richard (Kogorou) and Jimmy (Shinichi). Ohh and whenever they got Vic Mignogna to voice someone! It made/makes me think of Fullmetal Alchemist, which is actually my favorite anime, whenever I would watch it in English.
