I also want to point out that those posts that Miku made are called '呟き (tsubuyaki)' in Japanese - this translates to 'murmurs' in English, but apparently, this is Japan's way of saying 'tweets'. So Japanese people understood Miku to have used Twitter to make those posts - Gosho grouped the tweets the way he did to throw people off about who Miku was talking about, I think.

There'll almost certainly be consequences for the DB being around, they have a habit of mentioning things at either the 'right' times or the 'wrong' times.

So when this case is over it looks like Sera will start looking into Kudo Shinichi and his 'connection' with Conan, while this is going on Ran will be getting another suspicion arc and the fingerprints on Hattori's charm-thing will almost certainly get mentioned. It's quite hard to trick solid evidence after all. :mrgreen:

...though I've not a clue how [insert character here] will save the day (if it was Okiya who saves everyone I'd be like: 'cause I want to see A-Okiya to meet his relative Sera) :mrgreen:

The culprit is the fox, Conan gets the hostage holder to believe it was really a suicide. Of course he drops the button and Sera along with Ran takes him out, the police rushes in to arrest him. then Conan reveals the real culprit(over the phone as Shinichi). Case Closed. Except Sera says something interesting at the end and Conan maybe surprised that Sera is a girl, not sure.

How can Conan predict what the bomber is gonna do when he heard his sister committed suicide, he could become crazy and kill everyone with his bomb, and how can he be so sure that Ran and Sera would be able to disarm the bomber ? No one know for sure how dangerous he is, one wrong move and everyone will die.

That was my initial reaction too. Conan isn't there to see what kind of guy he is and how he moves and reacts. I hope the translation clears it up a little. I wonder what interpretations of the evidence Conan used to convince the guy it was a suicide... It made me think I got it wrong at first.

the fact that Conan can twist the evidence so much gives me the creeps. Think about what would happen if he actually went through with killing someone (unlikely but go with it). Do you people not see just how easy it'd be for a persons corpse to turn up one day and Conan lead them towards the wrong conclusion on purpose (for example he could frame whoever he wanted as long as they were in the area/had some connection to the victim...

...Wait a minute *headdesk* if he helped fake Akai's death then of course he's twisted the evidence before.

He really just point out evidence that if thats only looked at would cause them to come up with the same conclusion. He may have said something like "because she held on so tightly to the cellphone indicates she sent you that text message of goodbye." With a little pushing, The person will believe it. I feel like he couldn't possibly know exactly what the criminal was going to react to this, so i find it a little unrealistic, he would have to be there to know for sure. It was a bit of a gamble if he based it off of how he talked and acted over the phone. He must of had a lot of confidence in Shinichi and Shinichi a lot of confidence in Ran

I have to say, I was - not really surprised, but . . . miffed, I guess - that Isao bought so easily into the "MIKU COMMITTED SUICIDE" story. He was observant enough to notice the broken glasses on the balcony and intelligent enough deduce that someone was hiding in the room and escaped through the balcony; I thought that he would see the inconsistency and point out how the SNS postings show that Miku wasn't contemplating suicide. But then, Isao is hot-headed and Gosho needs his characters alive, hmm.

The 'tougher' thing is definitely interesting, I'm excited how that will turn out. :smile:

Just read CHapter 774. It wasn't that suspenseful and I sort of expected the lie and everything. But the last part and the 'tougher' part is pretty mysterious. Can't wait to find out what that means. :geek:

For one thing, I'm pretty sure Sera definitely knows that Conan is Shinichi. But 'tougher'?

I think she was referring to how Ran is around Shinichi almost all the time but keeps on missing him. :smile:

Yeah, the case itself was okay, but the "tougher" part that was mentioned at the end does seem quite puzzling.

Maybe Sera means Ran is "tough" in the "thick" sense. If someone is thick, that means they have trouble grasping ideas. Maybe she means Ran has trouble understanding and accepting the fact that Shinichi is actually Conan.
