Although suspect number five seems like he could be the killer, I don't see a direct connection between the murder and his interests. He writes fiction, and his ideal in writing seems more like a gimmick than truth. Even if it was true, it does not specify that the perversion in his novels is of human nature. His new book could be referring to the intestines of an animal. Furthermore his description is the only one that doesn't contain anything about an interest in the human body. Referring back to the crime scene description; her head was severed and missing, her torso was ripped in two, and her intestines were scattered. The only person with purpose to do this much damage would be suspect one; the cook. I think that he ripped her torso in two to take intestines for ingredients. I believe he took the head for the same reason. His book on world's best cuisine gives a recipe for a dish made out of human parts. I believe that he is the only person with enough motive to actually take the head with him. Other than him the only other person with motive to take the head would be the head sculptor. But you can sculpt a persons head without removing it. But I'm pretty sure it was the cook. The only thing that bothers me is that little detail about him being particular about cleanliness. Since he wrote a book on the human head, it would make sense he would want one for his demented reasons. Most likely to learn more about the head or use it for one of his pieces.
