Rachael 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2011 If Booker, (Shinichi's dad) could be a detective, would he be a better one than Shinichi?

Akazora 293 Report post Posted April 15, 2011 If I had to say who is better, I would have to say Yusaku is better. Though we only saw his deductions a few times, Shinichi/Conan can be fooled or swayed every once in a while, as we can all see in some of the episodes. All the times Yusaku has made deductions, it has been smooth and without incident. But it's still a pretty close call.
tengaku squared 291 Report post Posted April 15, 2011 Yusaku > Kudo when it comes to deductions. Yusaku has yet to be wrong in his deductions, Kudo screwed up once or twice.

I think it's been proven Yuusaku is a better detective, he just doesn't have the motivation Shinichi has because Yuusaku prefers to write books, read, or whatever else the Kudo parents do while abroad. Detective Kudo 28 Report post Posted April 16, 2011 Yuusaku is a better detective for sure, he taught Shinichi everything when it comes to being a detective, and can easily solve a case shinichi may need another hint for.

dilbertschalter 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2011 The real question is "could Shinici be as good a detective as his father is now 20 years from now?" The answer to that is by no means clear I think.

Yusaku is kinda like Mycroft and Shinichi is Sherlock. On 4/16/2011 at 3:28 AM, Southpaw said: not only that, but Yuusaku has tricked Shinichi on a few occasions Yep. Anybody remember that kidnapping case? On 4/16/2011 at 4:31 AM, dilbertschalter said: The real question is "could Shinici be as good a detective as his father is now 20 years from now?" The answer to that is by no means clear I think. True. Shinichi has yet to surpass his dad in deductions. He can be fooled by certain things and often needs an extra clue in cases his father can solve without it. I'm sure that Shinichi takes that as a challenge and a goal: to surpass his dad someday and solve a case that his dad can't figure out.
