Glass Heart 34 Report post Posted April 21, 2011 The shooting of the two movies of The Hobbit has begun. Peter Jackson returns as director, producer and script-writer. Peter Jackson now reveals us his production diary which will last from the beginning of the shooting to the release of the second movie in 2013 (10 years after The Return of the King). The first entry is now available. We meet the new cast, led by Martin Freeman (Bilbo Baggins), Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf the Grey) and Andy Serkis (Gollum), and we rediscover some familiar sets (Bag-End, Rivendell).
