Forever Lost 55 Report post Posted May 30, 2011 I was a teacher's aide for three years... as an elective.. didn't get paid but did a buttload of work XD I volunteer a TON in various types of work but it's volunteer, no pay. I did get 'paid' with a meal once though... >.> The one time when I was younger they promised to pay us and TWO of the like ten people said Oh well we'll all just donate it to the youth group. NO ONE ASKED ME. Do that with your share, don't volunteer eight other people's hard-earned money D:< (This just tells you how selfish I am XD) I don't have anything worthwhile to sell that I can sell.. my time is already tied up and... if I want to do ANYTHING I end up using the like five bucks I have from my dad randomly giving it to me when I visit.. Just ate some... stuff... it was good... spent like $240 so far already... (Tickets: $154, Food: ~$86...) She was looking at some souvenirs. She actually grabbed some and kept holding it for a while, but she placed them back.... Should I buy that for her? I don't know if she really want it. She is currently on a ride which she said she want to ride alone.. O_o I don't know why. The lines were so long =_=.. some even took an hour to get on... She wanted to ride something that I can't even ride... I got on, and I felt like I was dying.. I think I'm getting sick. I had to ride things that I'm scared of... I can't feel my legs... In the morning it was like Haibara's normal face... But when I took her home, her face was like... an angel... *ahem* Here is what happened... So after she came back, We rode some more rides that SHE LIKED, not what I liked. And after that, we went to the souvenirs. She kept looking at the same thing (it was a doll. I think it was called Pluto?) so I just bought it for her. We left at about 2 hours after I posted the first half story. She was getting too tired so I just called taxi... She fell asleep on the way back home ON MY SHOULDER I dared not to move so that she won't wake up... I took her to her home, we looked at each other's face. At that moment, nothing except her face was visible... Something... like a magnet... was pulling me... () It looked like she was getting closer... until her doll got in the way. I realized what was happening... I got close to her () I had the following choices: -GO FOR IT -HUG -Something on your face My reaction: "There's something on your face..." while wiping her cheek... I face-palmed inside... but there really was something there, and I didn't think I should do the other choices. I saw that blush.. a very slight one just like before. Then she giggled... She saw me turn red... so I think she is 100% sure that I like her...(I didn't confess yet..) My head was empty... Completely empty. Nothing came out of my mouth, nothing came to my thought. I remember everything clearly... She said "Thanks for the doll and today was fun. I never had this much fun before. Are we going to go back someday during summer?" I froze... only thing in my head was "Sure! Why not?" and it just came out of my mouth. I had no control over my self. Her face shined. Literally. It. Shined. Her smile, the smile that can't be described in words... Also, her eyes were clear... Clearer than pure water... (if you know what I mean) "Great!" she said... and after that, she ran up to her door. She stopped, turned back, and waved at me saying good-bye. My hand mimicked her hand. I stood there until I realized her room's light was on. I think I saw her shadow thorough the window. And the pricipal said specifcally I couldn't go, because I switched schools. I know it seems fair in a way, but I'm going to be so miserable when all those pics get on Facebook. (Spoiler doesn't have much of interesting things between me and Grace. Just how presentation went..) Me: Blah, Einstein, blah, Edison, blah... Many scientist said that there are odd things that tend to occur everyday in this world. This is important... Some dude: So, why are the odd events important? Me: Well,... If there weren't odd events, we won't be curious. If we weren't curious, there are no discoveries/inventions. If there wans't discoveries/inventions, we have no knowledge/technology. Some other dude: Wouldn't we just make stuff or find out stuff by ourselves? We are the most advanced out of the other organism... Me: * Did you hear what I just said?* What I'm saying is that we start to think "Why would this occur?, How does this happen?, What makes it possible?, How can we fix it?" when ever there are some kind of particular events. the same dude: But can't we just think of that with out that even occurring? Me: Well, to make this easier *for you to understand... *, why did you just ask that question? why am I asking this question, and the one before? This is because we are curious. We want to know why, what, how , when, and where does things occur. Our knowledge starts with not only curiosity, but some odd events that makes us curious. Grace: ~♪ (SHE WAS ENJOYING IT!!!) Teacher: That was great! Who is n- Me: I'm not done yet... Teacher: Oh alright, go ahead! All but Grace: *Groans* Grace: d Me: One another example is Bohr, who won a novel prize for figuring out how the structure of an atom looks like. How did he do it? Did it just appear out of no where? No. He was trying to figure out what the structure of an atom looked like...blah blah blah... He tried many different designs, but none seemed to fit... blah blah blah... One evening, he went to sleep. In his dream, he saw the nucleus of an atom with the electrons spinning around it, just like our solar system with the sun and planets. This led to his answer, and he made many scientific experiments... blah blah blah... and won the novel prize, blah blah blah.... ...and that is all for my presentation. *Bell rings* All but Grace and teacher: *Runs out of the class* Grace: That was great! I learned a lot of stuff! (She smiles often now since DisneyLand.)
