Pisco was the CEO or something of a car company, IIRC), along with innovative scientists (ex. Sherry) and programmers (ex. that CG programmer dude), and its operatives routinely gain insane sums of money by blackmailing powerful people who aren't part of the organization (ex. that dude Gin got money from at Tropical Island) or by trading illicit information to powerful people.
