I mean, Shinichi isn't as humble (at the time) as to not talk before news reporters and definitely isn't as blunt about his feelings that he's willing to almost-kiss Ran. LittleDragonfly 2 Report post Posted September 27, 2011 Nice plot, but the ending was ABSOLUTELY awful I mean, the culprit's name wasn't even introduced in the first place, and we all thought he was just a minor character. This movie was WAY to off-canon In an interview, Aoyama-sensei even laughed and stated that he point at the screen a lot of times and shouting “Hey, aren’t you guys a little too lovey-dovey?!” Aside from that, it gained a lot of squealing fans xD Junpei and Shiori acted very well, I'd say; I even prefer.
