but won't there be a possible case where

a couple has their baby and less than a year later, they have another baby?

That is not likely.

Nature prevents you from it. If a woman have a baby, then she will probably avoid making another naturally unless.. yea.

It's the thing about estrogen/progesterone levels that makes the mood of a woman kinda go random...

it's basically the same idea.

Hmm...

so it's not actually possible for it to happen?

I know someone who has a sibling born less than a year from them

I mean, if I were to talk biology here,

When an ova(egg) is fertilized, then a woman will stop producing any more ovum(eggs).

so... when a woman is pregnant, she can't bore another during the process of development of the one already there.

But it is not impossible that they the embryos are fertilized a week apart. Or a few weeks after the birth of the first baby. It is possible for siblings to be born in the same year. Eg one in January one in october. But it will depend on The strength of her womb cuz it's dangerous for the second child. It is unlikely, but its possible... Right? O,o

But the thing is,fertilization must occur within 3~5 days, if not, they will die out. so I don't think it would be that much apart. I think I heard it was 3 month at most.

Yup... but you know erm... Those things can survive inside a womb for at least a week. :P

Well since a lady has two... sides, and if "HERS" is irregular, then it could be that both ovaries are "open" at the same time... Which is ... highly unlikely I know... =\ With a chance like that, I don't think it will happen at all, but ... it is not impossible right?
