Because we didn't want to write. :mellow: But now I'll add on because I feel like it.

-------------

Misaki said, "Ok, so we should start heading for that carpark to meet your friend. Pudding, right?"

Legend answered, "Yeah."

So the two exited the home (after grabbing some first-aid stuff) and securely locked the door. They then quickly ran to the carpark to meet Pudding, who was standing in front of the car. "Hey guys," she yelled as she waved.

She informed her friend, "Ok, Pudding we need you to leave the car with us and get out of here. Where we're going is dangerous."

"But-"

"No buts, just listen to me. You could die."

After a little more arguing, the girl with the snack nickname left and the two were then alone. Misaki instructed, "Come on, get in." as she climbed into the driver's seat.

"Um, Misaki-chan," Legend asked.

"Yeah?"

"Aren't you a bit young to be driving?"

"Well, I fail at techie stuff, so I need you to use your iPhone to find construction sites."

"But still, do you even know how to drive?"

"I know enough."

"But-"

"As long as I don't break the law, I'm fine." :mellow:

"............... Ok then........."

Legend slid into the passenger seat and whipped out her iPhone. She began to type at an incredible rate and said five minutes later, "I found one near where Aeyra was kidnapped. Now let me drive."

The 13 year old pouted, but willingly gave her the driving position.

---------------

That's all I'm adding. Anyone wish to continue?

"This is.... awkward..." murmured Aeyra into the heavy silence, the days' toils all spilled out. "Now that we're finished listing all the recent catastrophes, what should we do? I certainly don't want to discuss the million ways we could get executed because I've read some very graphic stuff and do not want flashbacks."

They laughed a little, glad for the little bit of sarcasm. It's hard to stay happy when any second the door could open and you could get mowed down with a machine gun or sliced open with an ax, but there are exceptions to everything. While most people lived normal lives without being kidnapped, shot in the head, or hunted down by crazy murderers, you had all the examples you needed right in the room. "I'd rather talk about nice things," commented Chelsea, relaxing a little bit with the cellphone in her back pocket. "Maybe when we go down, we can go down smiling. I wonder what Mark would think."

"That would be interesting," said the other girl, who refused to give her identity but was talking anyway. "He'd probably scream 'Stop giggling dammit!' and we would laugh even harder and then he'd have no choice but to just shoot us. Or while his face is turning red in anger, we jump him, steal his gun/guns, and then dance on him."

"We definitely should," cackled Chelsea, falling into her usual hyperactive, joyful mood. She could be talking about forcing Cure-kun into cat ears again. "And then we, the true life Hitachiin twins + you, shall then proceed to dangle him to the ceiling someway somehow and leave him hanging until he begs for mercy. At which point we walk away laughing."

"And to make it better, we'll gag him and then beat him with a stick- like- a harmless small wooden one- like a pinata. Of course, we will inflict some pain of course. Revenge is always nice," mused Aeyra, a vicious smile on her face that for a moment was undisturbed by the aching pain in her head. But of course the moment she realized it was gone, it returned. "Damn him for shooting me... Hurts like absolute hell..."

"We'll definitely get him," declared Chelsea, placing her hand down in the air. "For all of us." In synchronization, the two other girls placed their hands on top of Chelsea's, giving each other silent stares of agreement.

"For all of us."

Wow. :D Nice bit Aya-chan. I laughed. OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!

I thought it was a good time for some humor. We've been far too long without it. I'll let other people write their bits though- Mark should really get on. (though I should probably write his piece for him to prevent any of us being hacked to pieces by a masked man with a chainsaw. mellow.gif He'd probably do that.) In the meantime, how about you write something so I can see what happens next?

Uhm... In a second. Nah, I'll try to now...

------

"I wonder where Mark is now..." Chelsea mused.

"Probably trying to find Misaki and Legend..." Aeyra answered.

Pyre froze. Misaki and Legend too...? "Who is Misaki and Legend?"

"Pyre..." Chelsea groaned.

"I'm not Pyre.""

"Whatever you say." Chelsea rolled her eyes. "I had always wanted to meet you in real life, and I wish I could see you better..."

"Huh?" Aeyra looked at Chelsea. "Why can't you see well?"

"I wear contacts... One of them slipped out. I have horrible eyesight without them... Plus the lighting is dim in here."

"Yeah..."

------

Is that good enough, Aya-chan?

"I wear them too..." mused Aeyra, blinking. "I can't see a foot in front of me clearly without 'em. I got shot in the head and they didn't fall out. What exactly happened to you anyways? All I know is that you don't seem to be seriously injured."

"Erm-" paused Chelsea, looking kind of uncertain. "I'm clueless. All I know is that Mark pounced on me, and pushed me down to the ground really fast and then everything turned black. The blow probably just knocked me out. I don't think anything's broken, and I didn't bleed either. But I had a hell of a headache for the first hour."

"I had no idea what happened either," replied Aeyra, trying her best to sound conversational. "I woke up in his car, sleepy- I think he drugged me with chloroform- and there was blood on my head. I called 911 as best as I could and fell unconscious and suddenly Legend was in the ambulance with me and- well, you heard what happened to hospital."

"Who is this Legend you're talking about?" asked the other girl, eyes guarded. "Is that a code name or someething?"

"It stands for Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief. We also call her KKLT. Like- Chelsea's Akakata, and I'm Aeyra. Misaki-chan's also a code name, and even though you probably didn't hear about him, Cure-kun or Anti-APTX4869, is another one. We all belong to an online community. Just like Mark. He's Mohorovicic, but I called him Moho-kun. Guess all my excessive teasing made him angry," joked Aeyra, judging the girl's expression.

"DCW?" The girl immediately regretted her slip.

"I knew it," murmured Aeyra, sneaking a grin back at Chelsea who gave her a thumbs-up. "It feels like yesterday or something when we kept on teasing Cure-kun about Grace and that ceremony and everything. What I wouldn't give to be drinking Starbucks coffee right now with all of us laughing around the table on sugar rush. Heck, I'd wear cat ears to that ceremony with my crush watching! I wonder what all my friends are thinking right now. I told them I'd be out with some people I met, but I didn't go back, and- this is very bad. I can't call them or they might be in danger, and..." She frowned, visions of her friends, Ananya, Catherine, Christine, visions of her crush and his best friend, flooded her mind. They'd all come together, and they promised to stay together... If she had gone out with them instead, she wouldn't be here. But she wouldn't have met all of her great DCW friends either.

"I know how you feel," sympathized Chelsea. "My parents are probably insane right now. If Mark doesn't kill me, I swear my mom will. In fact, I'd be grateful if she did that."

"I wish I had people worried over me like that," said the other girl, with a small smile on her face. "I came here alone. I'm not supposed to go back for a week, and I told people not to call me because I was running low on minutes and not to text because I was running low on those too. Who'd have thought a vacation could go this awry? This is definitely going in my book as 'Worst Vacation Ever'."

"I'll never be able to go to award ceremonies without freaking out again." Aeyra giggled, trying to keep the mood light. "My parents will never take their eyes off of me until I turn eighteen- and probably not even then. My friends will all take turns speeching me for making them worry so much." Her eyes watered. "I miss them all so much already. If only I had said good-bye..."

"You- we won't need to. The truth will always prevail, right?" Chelsea quoted, making everybody smile a little bit.

"Even if I don't like him, I guess I'll quote Death Note," said Aeyra with a smirk. "'Don't worry, we can beat him. Justice will always prevail.'- said L from Death Note." She didn't mention L's fate.

****************

"They're quite an interesting trio, aren't they?" commented Mark, staring at the monitor, his lackeys surrounding him as they watched the hallways. "I can't believe they all tried to escape. Did they seriously think we'd own this big of a building and not have surveillance cameras? Not all bad guys are stupid." Pausing for a second, he smiled. "Tied me to the ceiling? Chelsea's given me a good idea. Have you guys tracked down Misaki and Legend?"

"No, not yet Mark," answered the very teenager who'd stuffed Aeyra into a trunk. "But I thought you'd be glad to know Maxx has been properly taken care of."

"That's nice. Traitors should always get their proper punishments. Once you capture those two, I'll start the ceremony. The execution one that is." He licked his lips, imagining screaming and the scent of blood. "I can hardly wait."

"What ceremony happened?" Chelsea questioned.

"Oh, yeah, you weren't there..." Aeyra remembered. "I think you were at the hotel..."

"Yep. So tell me the details."

-------

Please tell me what happened. 'Cause I don't know.

It has something to do with a ceiling...

I hope not being hanged... But he said blood, so... Oh crap.

"Well, only Cure-kun and I were technically invited, but most of you guys slipped around anyways, but nothing really happened. It was just a boring ceremony where we got awards," explained Aeyra, blushing a little when she admitted, "And I kinda stared at the guy I like the whole time. My friends hit me and told me to stop staring or I'd embarrass myself."

"What's his name again?" asked Chelsea, a devious look in her eyes as she leaned next to Aeyra. "Jeff or something like that?"

"It's Geoffrey!" Aeyra wished she could cover her mouth but her hands were unfortunately bound behind her back by handcuffs. "Not that it matters... It just irks me every time someone says his name wrong..."

"Funny name," commented Chelsea, nudging Aeyra in the ribs with her elbow before remembering Aeyra couldn't elbow her back.

"No it's not! It's a great name!" defended Aeyra, face completely red.

"But unusual," cut in Pyre, giving a suggestive grin.

"Stop it you guys!" yelled Aeyra.

*@ Chelsea: Umm... It's the part where we suggested the pinata. I thought it'd add dramatic effect.*

....... Just deserts? You may wanna fix that....

-------

The two had been driving around for a while and had found no clues. The construction site was a dud, so they continued to look. So far, nothing. "Ugh," moaned Misaki, "Why do they have to be so damn good at hiding?"

Legend responded, "Well, you didn't think this would be easy, now did you?"

They sat in silence, the question still lingering in the air. She lazily glances at the rearview mirror and saw a red car behind them. She brushed it off, but soon became concerned as the car continued to be behind them. She said, "Um, Legend? I think that car is following us."

"Really? Do you think it's Mark's lackeys?"

"Probably. What should we do?"

"Lose them of course."

"And how do we do that?"

"By doing this!"

She quickly turned the car at a corner and picked up speed. The drivers in the car behind them seem to notice and quickly did the same. A few seconds later, bullets began to fly. She yelled, "Crap!" as she tried to avoid the bullets and make sure it didn't hit any wheels.

Sadly, it hit one of the back wheels and popped it. Surprisingly enough, they were still able to drive, but wasn't able to turn well enough without that wheel. Misaki said, "Keep driving!" as she grabbed a gun and opened the sunroof.

She quickly climbed out and sat on the ledge of the car. She knew she was an open target, but she needed to do this. Steading the gun, she tried not to flinch as the bullets whizzed by, one of them grazing her arm. She took a deep breath before pulling the trigger before screaming, "Step on it! NOW!"

Legend did as she was told and was glad she did. The car exploded, killing the lackeys, and they just made it out of the range of the explosion. She took a deep breath before wincing in pain from the where the bullet grazed her. She asked, "Are you ok?"

She replied, "Don't worry, I'll be ok." as she grabbed a bandage out of the bag they had prepared and tying it on.

~~~~~~~~
Mark smirked as he heard the report. "Looks like the game is about to heat up," he smirked.
Ta da~! Anyone wish to continue~?
:mellow: ... :blink: DID YOU JUST MURDER SOMEBODY?!
-----------
Chelsea sighed.
"What's wrong?" Pyre asked.
"Eh, I dunno... Just talking about-" Chelsea looked at Aeyra. "Geoffrey reminded me of stuff..."
"Oh. Like what?"
"Well, love, I guess..."
"I see..."
"Yeah. I never really had a good chance with it. And will I ever? Unlikely."
"Don't say that!" Aeyra scolded.
"Still. But on DCW... I met some of the greatest people! Like you two for instance." Chelsea gave a small smile. "I thought Mark too, but... Guess I was wrong."
"I guess..."
"Since I'm known as the 'Akako' on DCW, I always wondered- Would I ever find my Hakuba?"
There was silence.
"Hakuba is Kaito's." Aeyra blurted. Pyre and Chelsea glared. "But yeah, I understand what you mean..."
Chelsea sighed again.
*Somewhere else in New Jersey*
Sayomi was having an extremely boring summer and had even resorted to watching TV O___O She was currently channel surfing, trying to find something that would keep her occupied for a while. But at the same time, she was chatting on Gmail with Meitantei Holmes. When she flipped to channel 12, the images of a car explosion caught her eye. The reporter was talking about how there had been a gunfight to accompany this disaster and a few people had even died :o What's more was the explosion had happened in Bridgewater, which was just a few minutes away if she took Interstate 287! Because she was so bored, she decided she'd go take a look at things, hopefully before everything was cleaned up. So she quickly said her good-byes to MH and managed to get her brother to take her to the scene of the crime down in Bridgewater.
Am I doing this right? XD
I'm being forced to watch a TV special, so no. And Sayomi, be glad he's not here. I've been shot in the head, almost caught in a hospital explosion, and now we're about to get executed. Stay nice and peaceful where you are. You do NOT want to end up Moho's next victim. He had someone try and kill Pyre with an ax.mellow.gif
Sayomi watched as the police tried to keep everyone far away enough from the burning car. The fire department was currently putting out the fires and she could see all that was left of the car was a charred black metal frame and a lot of ashes xP She was definitely curious about the events leading up to this explosion though. This sounded like some kind of thing that only happened on TV shows. In fact, she actually wanted to investigate this.
Minutes later, she was exploring the area, looking for any people that could've survived this. They probably couldn't have gotten too far, but she was only counting on the fact that someone had gotten injured. Her patience began wearing thin after searching a bunch of different side streets and alleys where people could possibly hide. No one seemed to have stuck around after the explosion. Then she heard two voices... and when she rounded the corner, she found herself staring at a car with two girls inside: one with a bloody arm and another who was helping treat the wound with bandages.
WHOA xD Hehe... I didn't have time to read this whole thing so I wouldn't know xP
Mark smirked as he heard the report. "Looks like the game is about to heat up," he smirked.
"So, there they are." Mark was truly enjoying this moment. Misaki and KKLT driving around aimlessly...while failing to look above them.
He placed the golf bag that he had over his shoulder on the ground, and from it he pulled out a huge machine gun.
Heaving a bit, he placed the machine gun on the edge of the roof. He pointed the gun at their car...
And he opened fire.
Uh oh... plot conflicts xDDDD Oh well :P
Sayomi stared after the car as it drove past her. She watched it disappear around the corner, and the night was peaceful once again. But of course, that wasn't going to last long. The silence was pierced by the sound of gunfire.
She dashed down the street and also rounded the corner that the car had just seconds ago. It was still within seeing distance, but it was accelerating quickly down the road. Bullets were being fired rapidly from what she presumed to be a machine gun. Immediately, she went for a brick building and peered around the corner, looking for signs of the shooter.
A shadow was perched on top of the roof of a building right across from hers! What's more was it was carrying a huge chunky thing... probably the gun. Her heart rate quickened and she ran away from the brick building, away from the shooter. As she ran, she pulled out her iPhone and dialed 911. She'd wanted a little excitement... but hadn't expected to be involved in this kind of gunfight. This wasn't something she could handle.
