Oh, man...it's just 4 AM yet and I couldn't go back to sleep. Meaning, the current time in Phil is 4 PM which makes sense why I am wide awake. So this is how it feels like to have a jet lag. For the meantime, I have to get ready and visit and help those girls. Monsi prepared himself and brought some of his gadgets along before going down to the hotel lobby. Unfortunately, the hotel's restaurant would not open until 6 AM so he decided to go to Burger King to eat some food, specifically Whopper Jr. When he finished eating, he now proceeded to the building where the girls are staying. He headed for the entrance doors and... Darn, they're both locked. Good thing I brought my lockpicker along. Since he is very used at picking accidentally-and-intentionally-locked doors in his former office and in his house, it only took him two minutes to pick the two locks securing the two entrance doors. Whew, that was easy. Now, to find which room those girls are staying. *cough cough* Man, there's a plenty of dust here! As he looked down the floor, he saw 5 different footsteps starting from a hole in the wall facing the entrance to a room to the left of the front desk. As he opened the door, he saw them still asleep. Hmmm...why do they look so tired? It's like they haven't slept for days...Might as well wake them up later. Monsi decided to stay in one of the rooms in the building then set his cellphone's alarm clock to trigger at about 9:00 AM. Unfortunately, he woke up at 9:30 AM and... THEY'RE ALREADY GONE??? Well, they should've woke me up...oh yeah, they didn't know I'm here. I might as well start looking for them. They can't be far away from here. As Monsi walks towards outside, he noticed another footsteps that wasn't there when he arrived. Those steps started from the entrance going to another room beside the front desk. Apparently, there's another person who is also staying in here. It seems there aren't any footsteps that indicates that the person inside has already left. As a safety precaution, Monsi prepared a knife on his right hand, then opened the door afterwards. Then he saw another girl still sleeping in there. When Monsi saw her face... OOHHMAAYYGAAAWWDDD!!! THAT GIRL IS... ------------------------------------ By the way, where is IU? Oh, Monsi found me... Should I wake up now? Maybe yes... ------ Tsukiko yawned and woke up slowly. She opened her eyes and sat up. There was a boy sitting opposite her. He was a foreinger just like her. Maybe Asian. "Umm, have you also slept here?" She asked. "I didn't notice you when I came but I was pretty tired." The boy didn't answer. "Doesn't he speak English?" Tsukiko pondered. "Umm, what is your name?" "What is yours?" He answered. "It depends who is asking." "Okay, I'm Monsi. How about you?" "...Just call me Tsuki." "Tsuki? Like Tsukiko?" Monsi asked. "Well, that is the name I use in DCW but Tsuki sounds sometimes much more nice." She grinned. "So, you're Monsi, huh? Are you also in DCW 'cause you knew my offical name there? I'm sorry if I don't remember you. I've almost as bad memory as Gin has." "Are you always that talkative?" Monsi asked with an annoyed tone in his voice. "Nope, only when I'm nervous. What are you doing here?" Tsukiko smiled. "I'd like to ask the same question from you..." "I was sleeping. You?" "I..." Monsi paused. Should he really tell the reason to that girl he just found... "Why haven't you posted any posts since last Sunday?" "Because I got kidnapped and I managed to escape yesterday. But the building I was locked in blew up so the kidnappers might believe I'm dead right now." "Why did you get kidnapped?" The Asian asked. "Gosh, how she can be so calm?" "Ah, well... I'm not sure. But I know it has something to do with DCW and Mohorovicic." "What does it have then?" "I don't know. Thats why I said something. I do have noticed that some elses have also disappeared and all of them have been in New Jersey." They chatted for a while and Monsi was leaving when Tsukiko asked: "Can I come with you? I think I should need an ally. And I haven't found the other girls who had got kidnapped. I don't believe they're dead. We two could find them." "In fact those five girls were staying in this building but already left..." Monsi scratched his head. "Ah, you were in Burger King and followed them, right? Did you fell asleep while waiting them to woke up?" Tsukiko guessed. Monsi's cheeks got colour. "Ho-how do you know?" He stuttered. "Just a wild guess." The Finn smiled. "Are we going now, or not?" "I think so. I don't have any reasons to stay in this building." "Neither have I." Tsukiko chirped. "Gosh, how she can be so cheery? And how I can stand her this whole time? Monsi glared. The girl has already left the room and shouted: "Are you coming? We have to find those girls, right? It is possible they aren't very far yet." The girl has already left the room and shouted: "Are you coming? We have to find those girls, right? It is possible they aren't very far yet." "Oops, sorry about that. I just received a text message. By the way, before we find those girls, can we go first to New Jersey Harbor? I have to get my cargo ASAP since the ship that bought it will leave after 3 hours so I have no time to waste. Don't worry, that cargo will surely help us a lot." "Well, if that's the case, then let's go." After 15 minutes, they have arrived at the New Jersey Harbor. Fortunately, they have spotted the ship easily. Tsukiko can't really help it but he asked Monsi, "If you don't mind me asking, what is your cargo?" "Just wait and see...Oh yeah, can you wait here for a moment while I unload it from the ship?" "Sure, just don't take too long." After 2 minutes, a huge vehicle came out of the ship and stopped in front of her. The door opened and she saw Monsi in the driver's seat, saying "Get in." Tsukiko looked very shocked when she saw it. You've got to be kidding me, A BUS???!!! Seeing her face, Monsi brought her back by saying, "Hey, I know you're surprised but we've got to hurry. I have to go back to my hotel to get my things then we can search for the girls." "Oh...yeah...sorry.", Tsukiko said as she enters the bus. While they're on the way to the hotel where Monsi is staying, Tsukiko asked him, "Is this really yours? How come you didn't bought a car or a van or a sports utility vehicle instead?" "Yes, this is really mine, believe it or not. As for my reason, there had been high rates of random murder and carnapping in our country. Since a bus is very hard to drive and maneuver, and it's easy to be identified, I decided to buy one. But this isn't your average bus--this is a bulletproof bus. Since this is bullet-proof, it won't explode even if a bullet hits the gas tank or the engine." "That's very strange of you, but really cool." "Thanks." After few minutes, they finally arrived at the hotel. However, Monsi requested Tsukiko to stay inside and to close all the curtains for her safety and he said he has a remote control for the door so she can just stay put. After 10 minutes, Monsi has loaded everything except his gadgets on the compartment, then he went back inside the bus. "Hey Tsukiko. Sorry, but I'm kinda hungry. You wanna eat at Burger King? It's my treat. Then, we can search for the girls after that." "Sure, I'm also kind of hungry anyway." --------------------------------------------------- Good night guys! "Erm... sorry to interrupt here... But, what's going on?" KKLT was watching the conversation with a puzzled look. "Oh Legend! This is a guy I met in Burger King. I accidentally spilled his coke and he was a gentleman to have forgiven me for it. Oh... wait... TSUKIKO?" A realization dawned on Misaki. "Monsi and Tsukiko... that sounds familiar... Where have I heard it?" "Let me jolt your memory then..." Monsi replied. "Could it possibly... be from a forum... called DCW?" "AH!" Misaki exclaimed. "Both of you are from DCW too?! Oh gosh... You shouldn't be here! Leave quick! Before Mark gets hold of you!" "Well he already did." Tsukiko commented. " I got kidnapped as well. I just escaped." "YOU WHAT?!" KKLT and Misaki chan yelled together. "Ok enough with the yelling." Monsi said calmly. "What were you girls doing here?" "We were asking for clues to the firing here. We need to find out where they could have hidden Pyre." "Pyre?" "Yea, you know? IdentityUnknown?" "Ah. Her." "Yes. Do you know anything, Tsukiko?" "Not that I know of... But we can help you search. Monsi has got a bulletproof bus." "This bus is bulletproof?" "Yes. If it helps..." "It's a great asset. Misaki chan, could you contact Aeyra for me? Thanks." KKLT beamed with excitement. "We've got ourselves a useful ally." *Beep* *Beep* "It looks like they contacted us first." Misaki answered the radio. "This is Misaki and Legend." "Me and Chelsea have found something! Gather infront of the Burger King immediately!" "Ok. We're on it... By the way, we'll bring you something very useful." "What is it?" "You'll see in a while." "Okay. But hurry!" "We'll be there faster than you'll expect." Monsi released the hand brake and looked at the girls, "So? Shall we hurry?" "Let's go!" -------------------------------------------- YAY! We've got a bus! IdentityUnknown had been a "good hostage" for long enough. Taking out an extra bobby pin she had asked C to attach to her shirt, she picked the lock to her handcuffs. It took several minutes, but eventually they popped open. Rubbing her chaffed wrists, she ripped the duct tape off her eyes, blinking as she saw for the first time in what felt like days. Examining the room, she smirked as she saw the heating vent. IdentityUnknown attached the handcuffs to her jeans and taking the bobby pin she unscrewed the bolts. After shifting several boxes, she climbed into the heating vent. "If only heating vents could be closed from the other side," she murmured to herself. She started to crawl. It took an hour, maybe more, for her to reach the end. She sucked in the fresh air and then jumped out. The vent lead outside the complex and she scanned the landscape, relieved to find a forest. She'd stick close to the edge and climb a few trees if she had to (yes, I've climbed trees before and it's quite entertaining). Now for a place to hide.
