DCW...IRL?

Thank you, and you're welcome. :)

(Dang, when do most people get to use both "thank you" and "you're welcome" to the same person in consecutive order?)

Now. :P And I need to stop delaying, I'm going to sleep now, goodnight!

OK... Hmm... Here goes nothing...

BK201 was running towards the airport. She received news about a plane crashing somewhere in US/Canada border. Unfortunately, her best friend is on the flight too.

"Excuse me sir. I heard that about a plane crash an--" she asked the security guard as she went in but she was cut off as the guard push her aside.

"I'm sorry ma'am, but I don't entertain questions about that matter." The guard said.

"But--"

"I'm really sorry ma'am."

"MY FRIEND'S ON THE FLIGHT!" she shouted rather loudly that all the other people in the airport are staring at her curiously.

"Ah.. You didn't say so earlier. Please take a seat first maam as I call on Lieutenant Jonah. He's the one investigating the incident." The guard said and BK201 sat down on the nearest chair.

"Oh God... Please... Let her be okay..." she prayed fervently as tears slowly fall down her cheeks.

"You're looking for me?" a police officer said as he walked towards her.

"Are you Lieutenant Jonah?"

"Yes ma'am."

"I believe my friend's on the plane that crashed. I want to know her whereabouts." she said as she try to compose herself.

"What's her name ma'am?"

"Cherry Gil"

Lieutenant Jonah read through the list of names he had.

"I'm sorry ma'am, but you're friend's... gone."

It took time before the words sink in through her mind. She's gone...

"Oh God, NO!.." She said as she sank down on her seat. She's crying loudly now. She can't stop the tears flowing down her cheeks. The police officer was saying something but she's not listening anymore. Her mind is blank. her heart feels like it was about to burst. Why?! Why did this have to happen?!she thought.

And she wept her heart out.

That's it... I wish I did well...

"Shit..." moaned Aeyra as she struggled to get up, finding herself in yet another hospital. The whiteness of the room and the bright lights were overwhelming after the welcoming darkness of unconsciousness. "What happened?"

"Your plane crashed," informed Legend, sitting on the edge of the bed. Aeyra gave her a curious glance, noticing the girl seemed unhurt. "It's visitor hours. You won't even believe who saved you."

"It was Mark," interrupted Misaki-chan, unable to keep from saying it for much longer. "H-he had a parachute and could have saved himself so easily, but he saved you and Chelsea instead. The plane was struck by a missile."

"So we were the real targets..." mumbled Chelsea, who had been awake in the bed next to Aeyra's. They had refused to tell her details until Aeyra had woken up, feeling a freakout from Chelsea might disturb the other girl's rest. "And Mark was just another agent they could spare. That's terrible. Even though he's tried to kill us so many times... I can't believe he's gone trying to save us."

"I'll admit, we were extremely surprised when we heard it," confessed Cure-kun, who was standing off a little bit to the side. "We were all panicking when you called, and we decided to find you guys in case you were injured. Luckily, it was just minor scrapes and bruises. We're covering up the plane story by saying you girls tumbled down a hill while camping with us. So don't mess that story up."

"The doctor's say you two'll be out of here in no time. And he gave us some medicine in case you guys get headaches or something later." The fake IdentityUnknown waved a pill container in front of them. "This should come in handy if one of us becomes seriously injured again. It's painkillers."

"I'd have loved that very much when I got shot in the head," muttered Aeyra darkly, remembering the exploding pain in her head. A trace of it was still there, but nothing compared to the original pain. "Would have made things easier."

"Oh well, the past is gone." Chelsea sat up, eyes alert and eager. "So, what do we do now?"

Haha... lets include someone else in :P

---------------------------------------

The girls (and Cure kun) was in the hospital visiting Aeyra and Chelsea.

"So, what do we do now?" Chelsea prompted.

"Hmmm... how about erm... explaining the situation to our friend here..." KKLT pointed to a new girl sitting behind her.

"She is...?" Aeyra asked without looking surprised. She seemed to be immune from any surprises now, well... we ALL went through even more surprises...

"She is BK20... erm... let's just call her BK" KKLT introduced. "We met at the airport. We'll go into details next time."

"BK?" Chelsea asked this time.

"She's ALSO from DCW. SO, I've taken the liberty and decided bring her along if you don't mind." KKLT announced. "Well, it is... partially... our fault that her friend died in that attack".

"Okay. We shall respect your decision." Aeyra sat up on her bed and continued. "So what shall we do now?"

KKLT straightened up. "This time, we have to change our targets." Her voice lowered, and her eyes were showing great determination. "This time... We're going to the top... the boss."

-----------------------

How are we going to track down the boss?! :P

IdentityUnknown stared blankly at the computer screen when a knock came from the door. "Who is it?"

"Pyre?" Lia asked softly. "You alright?"

No. Of course she wasn't alright. How could she be? IdentityUnknown wiped away an angry tear, then went to open the door for Lia.. C had booked them hotel rooms and IdentityUnknown had one to herself.

"Yeah, I'm fine," IdentityUnknown lied, hiding her pain. "How are Aeyra and Chelsea?"

"Recovering," Lia said, closing the door behind her. "The doctor insists on keeping them for a few more days. They're alright, just shaken up. We found another ally as well: BK201. Her friend died on the flight."

"Good," IdentityUnknown said dully. "I mean, it's great that they're fine and BK is with us. I...I'm sorry abou her friend." There was a slightly bitter tone to her voice.

"It wasn't your fault," Lia said soothingly. IdentityUnknown shook her head. "This entire mess is my fault. Look at all of us. Kidnapped, held hostage, suffering from wounds, jumpin out of airplanes, almost dying, and now..." IdentityUnknown swallowed. "It's all my fault."

There was a moment of silence. "Did they confirm--"

"Yes. It was him."

"Okay. Okay."

They aat there for a while before IdentityUnknown pulled herself together. "I'm working together with C to figure out where the missile was launched and who did it. Tell Cure to call Grace -- she must be worried sick. You, KKLT, your friend, and Misaki-chan better get some ret. We probably can't do much but research for the next few days, and I want this over quickly. It's gone on too long, and we've suffered and caused too many casualties."

Lia nodded and began to leave, but then hesitated and turned back. "Are you sure you don't want to talk about...you-know-what?"

IdentityUnknown shook her head and put on a very faint smile. "I'm fine, Lia. Get some rest." The lie burned her tongue but she didn't show it on her face.

Lia nodded and closed the door.

IdentityUnknown blinked hard to keep the tears from pouring out. She turned to the computer screen, Mohorovicic's profile on the page, an empty reminder of him. She shut the laptop, sank onto the bed, and began to weep bitterly.

Which is why I'll add on.

IdentityUnknown (after composing herself) had returned to communicating with C and tracking information. For the first time in her life she drank an entire cup of coffee, which was just about enough to keep her awake. The taste was terrible but IdentityUnknown ignored it, thinking only of work. Lia had pestered her about going out and taking breaks, so IdentityUnknown had gone to the hospital once and met BK once. The only breaks she took after that were consumed with writing, which she locked with passwords and put in a USB.

Early the next morning, a tired IdentityUnknown printed off several pages of information. She called all of the DCW members to the hospital room where Aeyra and Chelsea were, bringing her laptop as well with C on Skype. "Ok," she said when the nurses had been ushered out and the DCW members had all arrived. "Let's get started."

"Get started with what?" asked Aeyra, leaning back against the head of the bed, clearly still shaken from the discovery of Mark's sacrifice. "Mark's dead. He was the only lead."

"Not quite," started Pyre, pulling out a thick wad of documents. "I did some research last night and found some info on the Organization Mark was part of." Her voice choked as she said his name, and they all understood. Bad guy or not, it hadn't been his time to go.

"What did you find?" interjected Chelsea, trying to sneak a peek at the papers. "Headquarters, other members, what?"

"It's an international syndicate. That's why Mark was going to Canada- it's not just some small mafia run by him. This is a powerful Organization, like the BO in Detective Conan. This isn't going to be easy, and more likely than not we'll end up following Mark in death. Is everyone here up to the challenge?"

Okay meeting time~

---------------------

After the hospital visit, Pyre's friend, C, had gotten them hotel rooms and they will be settling there for the night.

The silence was a little unbearing. KKLT thought about what had happened for the past week. The adventures, the dangers, the experiences, those miraculous moments which they had survived, the people they have met... the kidnappings, the attacks, the escape, the chase... Mark. Everything happened so quickly yet it seemed like forever. She was afraid to go on DCW now. The thought of the fact that Mark was gone, just like that, after all the struggles and chase, was torturing. She couldn't imagine how it would be for Pyre. After all, it was her who missed him the most.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. KKLT stood up and peeped through the eyehole of the door. It was Misaki and Lia. She opened the door and let them in.

"We know you wouldn't be able to stand the silence so we decided to come over to accompany you!" Misaki bounced on KKLT cheerfully, but KKLT knew that it was an attempt to hide the fact that she was upset.

"Yea. Thanks."

"Are you okay?" Lia asked.

"Yea. I'm fine. How about you two?"

"I'm as GENKI as ever!" Misaki replied KKLT.

"I'm fine too... But..."

"You're going to mention Pyre right?" KKLT continued. "Let's leave her alone for now. I think she needs to think."

"But... I'm still worried... I'll-I'll go over and ask!" and Lia disappeared through the doorway. KKLT didn't stop her, for she was worried, and wanted to know how was Pyre too... But she was afraid to see her. She knew Pyre wouldn't show that she was hurt or upset and would try to keep it within herself. To force her to do that would be so cruel... But still, she wanted to know... to know how Pyre felt...

Lia came back after a while. From her face, KKLT could see how Pyre was doing.

"She said she was okay... but..." Lia stopped halfway.

"I know, Lia... I know. That's her character." KKLT stood up and hugged the poor Lia who looks like she is going to cry. "When she is willing to share her pain with us, we'll share it with her."

"Let's sleep early later." KKLT told the girls. "I'm sure Pyre would have found out something by tomorrow."

"Yea. She told me to tell you guys to rest early as well... Ah. and I have to tell Cure kun something as well... I'll get going."

"Legend..." Misaki mumbled while staring on the floor.

"..."

"Legend... Do you think-"

"-do you wanna stay in my room for today?" KKLT asked, cutting Misaki's sentence.

"Uh... Sure... But why-"

"I've asked BK to supply us with a laptop... and she did. How gracious of her..." smiled KKLT.

"Yea... She has gone back to the hospital to accompany Aeyra and Chelsea, which was supposedly our responsibility... But why would you want a laptop? For playing games or surfing DCW?"

"Nope." KKLT shook her head. "A laptop with internet connection means we have communication. And I'm going to use it."

"Eh?" Misaki was puzzled.

"You'll see..." KKLT pulled up the cover and turned on the laptop.

-------------------------------

The next morning, a call came and KKLT picked it up.

"Who's that?"

"It's from Pyre. She wants to meet us at the hospital."

"Eh? Why?"

KKLT picked up BK's laptop and replied with a smile, "She must have found something."

The two girls set off for the hospital.

When the girls reached the hospital everyone was already there.

"Okay. Let's get started."

"I'm in." KKLT raised her hand, and all the others followed.

"Me too!"

"Yea!"

"Let's kick the BO- I mean syndicate's butt!"

"Yea!" everyone chimed, and cheered until a nurse walked pass to shut them up.

"Okay, so now what?" Aeyra asked.

"Er-hem... Before that, I'd like to announce..." KKLT cleared her throat. "... that I have found a friend to supply us with a private flight. It is a very small plane but it is fast and we have a very good pilot."

"EH?! How did you manage to get a friend like that?" asked Chelsea.

"Well... She's actually a distant relative of mine, and our families rarely interact. But I have grown to be great friends with her on the net eversince our first meet." KKLT continued embarrased. "Well, her family is rich and owns a small plane manufacturing company."

"Great! Now that we have a flight, are we flying to Canada?"

"Not yet." Pyre continued. "We have to go into the details now."

"You even found details?!" Misaki asked surprised.

"Yes. Now listen..."

Everyone kept quiet and listened to what Pyre had to say...

ERM OKAY... I think its a little too long but... :P Who cares...

Inspector Gray leaned back into his chair, his hat covering his eyes and legs on his desk, and let out a big sigh. "We can't keep this undercover for long."

On the TV on the opposite wall was a broadcast of the plane attack.

"There are no known survivors of the attack besides two girls and a plane attendant, all of which have refused to comment at the moment.

One of the known casualties of this attack appear to be a 17-year old Asian male named Mark. Mark is the leader of a local crime gang, and is responsible for the many kidnappings, arsons, and bombings occuring within the city."

Inspector Gray turned off the TV when the broadcast came to the part with his interview. He couldn't bear seeing himself lie.

He remembered the report:

"DNA Test on body assumed to be Mark. DNA does not match body, nor any body on plane. Likely either body was incinerated during impact, or subject survived."

And Gray had good reason to believe the latter.

=======================

"Kidnapper!"

A mother and a child were walking amiably on a bridge, when suddenly a man sneaked up from behind them and lifted the child up within his arms, and ran. Knife in one hand, child in other, everyone got out of his way.

Except one person dressed in black.

"Get out of the way!" The kidnapper thrusted his knife, but the man dressed in black ducked, kicked the kidnapper's legs from under him. He dropped the child, and quickly scrambled away and ran away.

The man in black picked up the knife with two fingers and threw it into the river below. He then grabbed the hand of the boy, and led him back to his mother. The reaction of course, was pure thankfullness.

"Thank you for stopping that kidnapper! May I know your name?"

The man hesitated, then stared at the road, where two police cars were roaming. He turned around, and said:

"My name is Mark."

And when the woman blinked, the man was gone.

A/N: This does not mean I'm alive.
