BesidEs, she doesn't have any say in that matTer since she 'wilL join the org. whether she like it or nOt' as Chaos had said. MiGht as welL avoid injuries in the procesS. Her thougHts were sudDenly interupteD when she heard footstepS in the corridor. She went to the dOor and peEkeD ouTsidE. She saw Chaos with 3 fAmiliar girls behind him. 'Those threE.... They loOk like chelsea, misaki and aeyra! BuT what are they dOing here?' she thougHt as she rougHly openeD the doOr. Chaos and the other three looked at her curiously. "Chelsea... Misaki... Aeyra... It's reAlLy you!" she exclaimeD as she ran towards them and huggeD them one by one. "BuT why are you here? Where are IU and the others?" she asked them bUt they just loOkeD at her bLankly. "Guys?!" she said but they did not respoNd. Chaos suddenly laugHeD. "What did you do to them?" she askeD Chaos angrily. "As if you doN't knOw the pRocEsS of aCceptinG recruits here. I useD 'THAT'. UnfortUnately, you're an excepti0n since we neEd your knOwleDge very bAdly" Chaos said mOckingly. BK201 gaspEd. "You used my creatioN oN them?!" she askeD unbelievingly. Chaos just laugHeD. She continued her way to upper stairs where her room was. She changed her clothes and tied her wound. "I bet I won't live a very long time but I can still help them somehow..." After several hours Shannon heard when a group of people walked past her room. "Six... no, seven people..." She thought as she listened her ear against the door. Some of them were talking. Shannon didn't heard what they were talking but regonized some voices. "Chaos... Nero and... is that-!?" She took a step away from the door. "Was it that girl? 'Chelsy'? Or Akakata? Did they get caught?" She pondered a while what she should do and took her phone then. She searched a number she had got from Tsukiko's phone. She called. The phone rang twice and someone answered. "Hello? Tsuki speaking..." ------ Tsukiko's cell phone rang and she answered. "Hello? Tsuki speaking..." "Tsukiko, here is Shannon. Don't waste time with silly questions, just listen and answer if I ask something." "Okay..." "Since you managed to answer I think you managed to get away, right?" "Yeah, but Misa, Chelsy and Aya were left behind..." "I know, I just heard that Chelsy's voice. They seem to be alright but if they are I afraid that they are one of them now. "But shouldn't it be fine? They might still be at our side." "No, I'm sorry but no. They have no memories anymore. I bet Chaos had used a brainwashing poison. One of organization's scientist developed it but ran away then. She was called Skye but she was also called BK. You have to be extremely careful..." "What? Did you say BK?" -- -- -- Gotta stop now. In my mind he is an overly cautious, commanding leader-type, and he makes me think of Max from Maximum Ride. LOL Krev is Fang, Nero is Gazzy, and Brise is like, Angel or something. XD ************************************************ "You guys are doing really good for a first day!" cheered Nero, green eyes shining with warmth as he encouraged the three newbies. "I didn't do nearly as well my first time! I'm envious!" Chaos rolled his eyes, gently shoving Nero back into his own shooting range. "Nero, while all this encouragement is helpful, don't forget about your own training. Your aim is a bit rusty- you only hit 9 out of 10 bull's-eyes." "Come on, Chaos! Like Brise said, we'll probably be in here a week! We've got to worry more about these new girls than ourselves- I know how to shoot a gun well, and they don't!" protested Nero, a toddler-like pout on his face, preschool blond hair completing the image. Nyx held out her shotgun again, trying to hold it steady as Chaos shifted her fingers until her grip was perfect. "Now make sure to keep your hands still, or the bullet's going to go all over the place when you really fire." Nyx pressed the trigger, and stumbled back a bit as the fake simulation gun recoiled from the force. "Not bad," commented Chaos, reading the landing point of the laser that had shot out. "You missed by just a few inches. Now Rin, your turn." Rin and Jun managed to just as well as Nyx, earning them all looks of approval from Chaos, his blue eyes actually filled with some warmth. "It's nice to see you've met my expectations and a little bit more," he said two hours later, the girls panting from the physical exertion of obstacle courses and different exercises. "We'll head the cafeteria and get drinks and dinner. And then we'll show you our quarters." "The food here is amazing!" rambled Nero, who seemed to be excited by nearly everything. "And make sure you try the iced coffee! That's the greatest!" "But you're not having anymore," said Krev, settling down at a table. "You've already had six today- it'll be a miracle if you fall asleep before morning." "B-but-" He turned on his puppy eyes, and stared in a pitiful manner at Chaos and Brise. "You guys'll let me, won't you? Krev's being mean." The two laughed, clearly having been through this several times before, Chaos looking more relaxed than he had all day. "Krev's right, Nero. We have to share a room with you, and unlike you, we appreciate sleep time." "Sleeping is so overrated though!" he complained as plates of cake were set before him by a passing cafeteria worker. "I hardly sleep at all and I'm perfectly fine!" "Cake already, Nero?" asked Brise exasperatedly, stealing a bit of the chocolate with a fork. "And it's coffee-flavored, of course." "Do you three want some?" inquired Nero, ignoring Brise and holding the large plate near Nyx, Jun, and Rin. "It's really tasty." "Sure," said Nyx, hesitantly taking a bite. Her eyes lit up almost immediately. "It is good." "Lemme try," cut in Jun, picking off a piece. "It is great!" The rest of the meal passed with jokes, fun, and soon enough Nyx, Jun, and Rin were joining in the conversations like they'd been there their whole lives. It felt safe, comforting and familiar. "Uh...well...yeah." KKLT stammered. "What about the others?" SHE didn't want to mention their names. "Have you heard anything?" "None." Was the gruff reply. Now it seemed like he was in a hurry. "But be careful. If they're dead, you wouldn't want to mix them up with fakes." KKLT gasped at the thought. "Listen." He seemed to be running. "I don't ha...ime. I nee..et...at...idge...thir...row...ful...do...en!" The line went dead. KKLT stared at the phone dumbfolded, not comprehending anything. --- What is going on?! And what was Mark trying to say?! And... Pyre... Where are you?! KKLT suddenly popped up from Pyre's bed and climbed down. She grabbed her phone which was under her pillow. Without knowing that WildHeart was awake, she crept out of the door with Pyre's phone and went searching for Pyre. Even though KKLT could not catch the last few words, it signifies that Mark may be in danger. It's an emergency, but KKLT has no courage to make a decision. She needs Pyre. Pyre... where... are you...? KKLT thought to herself as she frantically ran through the doorways... ------------- I have no idea what to write for now =\ "Lege-..." KKLT continued sprinting around the doorways. "Le-.." "LEGEND!!" KKLT was too concentrated on searching for Pyre and she hasn't heard somebody calling her. She turned her head and found that it was Lia. "Lia?!" "Legend...*pant* You're running too fast..." Lia stopped to take a breath. "Lia what happened?" "WildHeart saw you exiting the room, and she thought that something happened to you and Pyre." Lia caught her breath and stood up straight. "So she woke me up and... We found this on her bed." Lia handed KKLT a piece of paper. Quote To KKLT: Im sure you'll find me missing when you wake up the next day. I have been trying to fight the feeling ever since we left Misaki, Chelsea and Aeyra behind. I cannot leave them alone. I have to do something. Don't come looking for me. I have left my phone with you in case Mark calls. If he does, don't tell him that I left. If he is safe, take him with you guys. Escape with everyone. I'll thank you in advance. "Is something wrong?" He noticed the look on our faces. --------------------------------------- When everyone awoke, KKLT explained what happened during the night, and showed them the note. "PYRE'S GONE~?!" Was Sayomi's first reaction. "We have to look for her!" Tsukiko continued. Monsi jumped up. "Let's go!" He finished. "But...." Wildheart said. "We don't know what happened to Mark, or what he said. And where do we start looking?" Monsi sat down again. "Well..then let's figure out what he said!" He looked at Pyre's cell phone. "You can play the call back, right?" KKLT nodded and pushed a few buttons. "I don't ha...ime. I nee..et...at...idge......thir...row...ful..n't...one...ou..en!" (sorry, changed the last part a bit...xS) "So 'I don't ha...ime.'" Wildheart started. "Maybe..I don't have much time?" They nodded and moved on to the next part. -------------------------------------------- By the time the sun has set, they figured out most of the sentences. If he went into someplace without reception, he would have called again." KKLT explained. "It's either the call was intercepted, or his phone spoilt. There are only a few reasons for that..." KKLT swallowed her last few words. "Anyway... we have to leave... right now! And find Mark!" She said as she sprinted towards the van. "How are we going to find him?!" Tsukiko asked KKLT as she ran after her. "I DON'T KNOW!" KKLT yelled in frustration. "WE HAVE TO FIND HIM NOW! AND LEAVE THIS PLACE! IF THE CALL WAS INTERCEPTED WE WOULD BE FOUND SOON! WE HAVE TO MOVE!" "NO WAIT!" Lia rushed and pulled KKLT. "WHAT?!" "LEGEND! LISTEN TO ME!" Lia yelled at her. "How are you going to find Mark like this?! How about Pyre then?!" KKLT stopped. Oh yes. Pyre. KKLT remembered Pyre's message. She frowned and took out the piece of paper which she is supposed to burn. "Pyre left us to you." Lia told KKLT. "Don't be too rash. It'll endanger everyone even more." KKLT regained composure and replied, "Yea... Sorry. I should have had this thought out calmly." Lia smiled. "Now what?" "..." KKLT pondered for a while. "We'll wait for Mark's call again. Im sure he knows we didn't receive it properly. He will call again after a while. Meanwhile, we'll split up to search for Pyre. During this time, if anyone spots Mark, contact me. How is the plan?" "Okay. I agree." Lia stepped forward. "How about you guys?" The rest of them looked at each other and nodded. "I agree!"
