Is it bad if I say 'what box'?

No. The box I'm talking about had some of Laela's possessions when she was alive. That's where I got the letter. Which reminds me, why did I have the letter on me?

Umm... I thought you tucked it in your pocket... What possessions may I ask?

Um, a notebook (I had planned it to be a diary), a few letters and photos, and a few items that had a significant meaning to her.

Keep them. We'll give them to Chaos as a gift. ^^

"So, they've decided to break out on their own, huh. And I've just organized the excavation team."

A sharp pain in his chest reminded Mark that he should be resting as much as possible. He slowly, as if the bed was made up of spikes, laid on the bed.

"There's no way they'll be able to make it far without help." He took a breath, then called, "Grace!"

A girl, about 16, answered the call. Her glasses reflected the light such that her eyes were not visible, and her black hair was coursing down her shoulders like a waterfall. "You rang?"

Mark gestured at the girl to move closer, then whispered in her ear. "There are people trying to escape the syndicate. I need you to drive over and assist them in their escape."

The girl's eyes rose. "The car?"

Mark groaned in discomfort for a moment, then said. "Black Panther. Should be in the garage."

"Will do. Should I bring anyone else?"

"Sam and William."

"I understand William - he's our muscle...but why Sam?"

"Sam's an explosive expert. He can help you prime the Black Panther's missiles. Also...I have a feeling you're going to need a bang."

The girl contemplated this for a moment. "Sure." Then she spun around, and walked out the door.

Mark stared at the ceiling. The pain in his chest receded. He sighed.

"I can tell you still don't trust them," commented Nero conversationally as he looked at Pyre, who was sitting next to him. There was a cup of hot coffee in his hands- it'd taken begging, pleading, and finally a serious warning of what would happen if it wasn't given to him before he'd manage to obtain his precious caffeinated drink. "Why don't you ask them some questions? I know you want to."

"How do you know?" challenged Pyre, skeptically eyeing her new comrade. Aeyra had said it was okay to trust him, but something about him made her uneasy. "What makes you think I want to ask them questions?" Aeyra flinched as Pyre's finger pointed at her.

"Well, I can tell by your eyes, facial expression, the way you move, and my guess of your thinking process. People are easy to read." Nero shrugged, looking a little bored. He would never admit it even under the threat of death, but without his constant supply of coffee, he actually felt- he shuddered- tired. And he wasn't happy about it, not in the slightest. Before Pyre could respond, he continued. "You're afraid that they haven't regained their memories, that they've been sent here to kill you guys- don't deny it, you know they already tried to- and you'll have to leave them again, or at the very worst, kill them. Your reaction confirms all, um- what was your name again?"

"I get called a lot of different names," hissed Pyre, starting to get seriously pissed off by this boy. "I go by IdentityUnknown, IU, Kaichou, Pyre, Jean, Pipi-chan, lots of names."

"I'll just go with Pyre. It's fun to say," responded Nero. "But seriously, just ask them. I don't lie, at least, I wouldn't lie here. Otherwise you'll never be able to fully trust them." He took the last sip of his coffee, frowning when he drained the final drop. "Goddamn it! I ran out of coffee! Now what am I supposed to do? I knew I should never have agreed to come when there wouldn't be coffee!"

Chaos gave him a light punch on the top of his head. "Nero, shut up. I think you're starting to annoy her," he hinted, looking at the glaring girl. "Are you yawning? That's nice. You're actually getting tired, aren't you, Nero?"

"I need my coffee," Nero mumbled, stifling back a yawn.

"Didn't you say could quit drinking coffee if you wanted to?" asked Krev, looking at the upset Nero with an amused face.

"If I wanted to. Which I most certainly don't! I can't live without coffee!" pouted Nero.

"People can live without coffee. I'm living proof," teased Chaos, turning (one of) Nero's signature phrases against him.

"Just shut up..."

Aeyra coughed. "Pyre, you can ask us questions if you want."

"Don't need to. I can tell from how you're acting. And if you were really sent to kill us, I don't see how he could be of much use," said Pyre, rolling her eyes.

"Don't doubt Nero," warned Aeyra, Chelsea, Misaki, and Tsukiko nodding behind her. "He's quite scary when he wants to be. He's the one who broke us out, he's the one who plans all of the attacks, and he's a genius. I mean, he sneaked out of the Organization once a week anyways to get Starbucks coffee, so he has to be pretty skilled to do it." Nero beamed. "The only problem is his coffee/sugar addiction."

"It's not an addiction," he denied flatly. "It's a necessity of life."

"Humans don't need-"

"Oh shut up Chaos!"

Don't worry. I bet Nero, Chaos, Krev, or Brise will slip up some time. Then you'll get to type them. :P

Kay~! ^^

Before the two boys could start to argue, Misaki intercepted, "Guys.... Let's not fight.... We need to decide what to do next."

Kaichou added, "She's right. So everyone co-"

Before she could finish her sentence, a sound of a engine drowned it out. A black sports car screeched to a stop a few inches in front of them, surprising al of them. A woman stepped out of the driver's door, a grin on her face. Two men, one with bulging muscles and the other being on the thin side, stepped out of the car next. The musclely man yelled, an angry look on his face, "What the HELL Grace! Why can't you drive like a normal person instead of a MADWOMAN!"

The woman named Grace retorted, "Aw William, be the man you are and get over it. It's not like anything BAD happened."

Aeyra cut in, "Um... Can we help you?"

She turned to her and asked, "You the group we've been sent to help?"

"Who were you sent by?"

"Mark."

"Mark?!"

"Is he ok?!"

"He looked like hell, but he'll be ok. It'd take quite a bit to kill that man."

"What a relief...."

"So, I'm Grace."

"I'm William."

"And I'm Sam."

"So... Why were you sent to help us?"

"'Cause. Mark thought you guys would need a little help."

"I see...."

"So, are you going to introduce us to your gang or what?"

---------

Lots and lots of talking.
