@Lia: Exactly what happened as I mentioned above.

Most people aren't most comfortable talking about past relationships...

I've been through it too~ but I don't care about him anymore. He can have a billion girlfriends and fall off a bridge, and I still won't care about him.

To tell the truth...I doubt that Lia. I honestly do.

*will refrain from bringing up old philosophy right now*

And...recommendation. If you girls are ok with a little romance and a little angst (and a guy's point of view :V), read Dear John.

Both. If you care for someone, you care for them no matter what. That guy from two years ago...I still wish him the best. Even when he claimed he loved someone else, I supported him.

Besides, I know you well enough to know you would still care...just differently.

It's good.

Dear John? What's it about. I've heard of the name somewhere... But I can't remember...

John Tyler is an Army sergeant. When he's on a leave, he meets Savannah, a mountain girl (a bit cliche :V). They fall in love and Savannah promises to wait for him until his service is over. They send each other letters and wait hopefully, John visiting Savannah whenever he can. Their bond is strong...until 9/11 happens and John must choose between his country and love. It takes this to show him what true love is really about.

I really love the book and that's a really brief summary.

Ah. There's a movie about this right? I remember hearing this story somewhere before...

Sounds like a sad ending...

I prefer bittersweet. It's (IMO) a perfect ending. *likes sad romances THAT AREN'T TOO CHEESY*

I disliked the movie's ending. They should've ended it like the book did. Nicholas Spark's books are amazing and then the movies made from it are just meh.

I see. Maybe I should go to the library and borrow this someday...
