The bus rolled to a stop in front of a dilapidated building.

"Are you sure this is the right place?" Sayomi asked, peering skeptically out the window of the bus. "This thing is hideous!"

"Well, we needed to do the exchange in a place that won't possibly have any bystanders," IU reminded her. "Okay, I'm going in."

"Alone?" KKLT asked.

"Yes, alone." IU confirmed. "I want you, Sayomi, and Gracestanding guard outside. Monsi, park the bus somewhere inconspicuous." She hesitated for a moment before deciding, "Actually, I want Tsukiko to come with me."

Sayomi's eyes narrowed for the briefest second but she didn't say anything. But IU noticed anyway.

"Is something wrong, Sayomi?" IU asked.

Sayomi leaned in close and whispered quickly, "I don't trust her. She's observing us wayyy too much... I find it suspicious."

"I intend to find out. I think something Mark told her has something to do with her behavior. I'll be asking him." IU said.

"Fine then. But just be careful. This building looks like it'll cave in at any second now." Sayomi gave the building a disgusted once-over before getting off the bus.

"Tsuki, you're coming with me." IU called. Tsukiko jumped in surprise, but she bit her lip and nodded.

IU and Tsukiko went into the dark building. IU switched on a flashlight she'd brought with her. "Mark? Are you there?" IU called.

"Yup." IU spun around and saw Mark emerge from the shadows of the room. "Nice to see you still alive."

IU snorted. "The Organization will have to try a little harder to kill us. Everyone's still alive and... mostly intact. Just minor injuries. That's about it."

"Good to hear." Mark then turned to Tsukiko. "Have you done any investigating?"

"I've been trying. I haven't found anything yet." Tsukiko answered.

"What do you have her investigating?" IU demanded. "She's acting really different... Observing everyone on the bus."

"That's because there's a spy. Someone you trust is actually working for the Organization... feeding them info on your locations and such." Mark explained.

IU paled. "Oh no. That is not good at all. They might ruin our plans."

"Exactly. That's why I have Tsukiko trying to find the traitor. Apparently, she's not being discrete enough." Tsukiko blushed at that. "But it's fine. Now you have someone else helping you investigate." Mark told her.

"All right then, we don't have time to waste. We need to be out of here before the Organization catches up. I need the passports." IU said.

Mark pulled his backpack off his shoulders and dug through it before coming up with a stack of the small booklets. "Here you go."

IU accepted the passports and gave Mark a QUICK (1-millisecond?) hug. "Thanks a lot."

"No problem." Mark nodded. "You'd better get going."

"We will." IU replied. "Okay, Tsuki, let's go."

But at precisely that moment, IU's cellphone rang. She checked the Caller ID. It was Sayomi. "Hello?"

"IU, we have to get out of here!" Sayomi yelled. There were the sounds of gunfire coming from her side of the line. "The Organization is here!"

Wildheart whipped her head around, to the deafening sound.

"What was that?" She asked, walking cautiously to the back of the bus, to get a clearer view.

"Gunfire???" Lia said, confused.

"The Organization is here!" Wildheart heard Sayomi yell from the front of the bus.

"What~??"

"What will we do?"

"Are we going to fight?"

Murmurs of anxiety was spreading throughout the bus.

"Damn!" We heard Chaos curse. "They've already found us?"

"How?" Brise wondered.

"Is there....a spy among us?" Krev said, suddenly narrowing his eyes.

"I don't get how that works...." Nero pondered. "I mean, who wou-"

"SILENCE!" Monsi's yell rang out, cutting everyone's conversation until you could hear nothing but the faint gunfires and bombs in the background.

"Don't you remember?" He asked. "This is a bulletproof, bombproof, and rocketproof bus."

"But are we just going to sit here and wait until they give up??" Lia said.

"Yes."

By then, nobody spoke.

"But wait!" Wildheart called out. "What about IU-chan and Tsuki-chan?? They're still outside!!"

"We have to rescue them!" Akakata joined in.

Monsi looked uncomfortable at the idea.

"But we'll just be risking more people's lives.." He said, half to himself. "They would know better than to stay where they were...they would have gone to a safer place..."

"Actually," Sayomi spoke up, "On the phone, they said they'd come here right away..."

"What?" Monsi's head turned around at incredible speed. "Did you just say that they're trying to come back HERE?"

"Y-yes...they said that it was the only safe place around here...."

"What about Mark then?"

"I-I dunno...." Sayomi looked as if she had done something wrong.

"Come on, Monsi." Misaki said. "Don't go so hard on her. It wasn't her fault."

Monsi shook his head furiously. "They're going to get killed!"

"How bout...we try to phone them?" Aeyra suggested.

"The number you have reached is unavailable at the moment. Please try agai---"

Monsi snapped the phone shut.

"It's not working." He reported. "It won't go through."

"What are we going to do???" Lia sighed. "They'd be back here by now, if they're coming..."

"I don't know..."

Suddenly, Chaos, Krev, Brise and Nero stood up.

"We've decided." Krev looked at his teammates.

"Decided what?"

"To leave this to us." Chaos said, determined

"What?'

He shrugged. "We're going to go out and stop them." He said, matter-of-fact-ly.

Before we could protest, Nero cut in. "We did it last time, so why not this time?"

And without waiting for an answer, they marched right out the doors and into the chaos of gunfires and bombs.

*feels slightly OOC* I call Tsukiko...Tsukiko. :V I wouldn't hug Mark under such circumstances since in the story everything is at a different pace. I wouldn't directly ask Mark about Tsukiko with her standing next to me. I'd most likely go in alone. I wouldn't call Tsukiko suspicious right there. I would've either told her to go ahead or I would've asked Mark in private some time later. And...(this might be my neglect) was Tsukiko investigating and how did I know?

I think Nero would realize he probably has a tracker imbedded in his flesh... *personally finds this the most reasonable explanation* And I think if Pyre and Tsukiko came back they'd notice the ring of snipers and would hide... Whatever. I'll just write.

Nero smartly pulled a small handgun out of his pocket, knowing his miniscule weapon would be enough to deal with the amateur snipers. Why amateur? Because Nero had already found the bus's weak spot. As armored as the thing seemed, as impenetrable, as invincible, everything had it's Achilles Heel. He didn't bother mentioning it because there wouldn't be a way to fix it without possibly asphyxiating them all, but he had noticed the slightest gap between door and the bus itself. Tiny, but if aimed at correctly, could rip open a larger hole and eventually lead to destruction.

Sure one could pump oxygen in but it would be too unsafe to depend on it. If it ever ran out and it was impossible to refill... He'd rather be shot in the head. Nope, he knew that hole had been left there on purpose, with vacuum-like tendencies as to suck in enough air. But the snipers simply didn't have his intelligence, or his intuition, or his aim. Nero swiftly dodged a bullet, relishing the rush of air as it brushed back a strand of his hair. Close, but not close enough. You weren't a good aim unless you hit your target.

Weaving back and forth, cursing the pale blond locks that fell into his emerald green eyes, he drew his gun, caressing the smooth metal barrel with a stroke of his fingertip as he undid the safety. Closing his eye as if winking, his mouth curved into a frown and he took one shot at his shooter's head. He didn't even have to look back to know his victim was dead- Nero didn't miss. Ever.

Meanwhile, Brise and Krev were fighting right alongside together, having mutual feelings of trust that came from years of teamwork and experience. Brise was light in her feet, and from a simple flutter of her fingers against Krev's, she could signal to the boy where to step to avoid oncoming missiles, and he in turn, handled the heavy firepower- grenades- while she held a delicate looking pistol. Well, not so delicate looking if it was aimed right at the bridge of your nose.

To them, the fighting was like a dance, they swayed together, like partners, depending on each other to do their part right, lest terrible fates await them. And they always performed well, flawlessly, as if they had rehearsed the moment countless times over, the careful twirling of their feet, the swift leaps, the synchronized, arrogant flicks of their hair as the sweat ticked down the strands. Neither dared voice their deep bond, fearing injuring Chaos with his burdensome memories, but their actions spoke louder than their words. Already it was as if they were one individual being- waltzing in gunfire and bloodlust.

Chaos fought alone, a powerful rifle in his hands as he took aim almost lazily, with a pompous air similar to that of a spoiled prince. He couldn't help but remember the moments he had spent on battlefields with Laela by his side, her presence alone giving him the courage and resolve to fight, for her life as well as his own. Her hair swishing through the air, reminding him of the wavy movement of snakes, catching the light and reflecting it in shades of golden-brown and bright caramel. The disgusted determination in her blue eyes, the ones that could burn with hot passion as well as freeze him to the bone with cold apathy. The eyes he had watched the light fade from, cool rain drops merging with her warm tears of pain and love, showing him more than words could ever say.

He shook his head, distracted, trying to clear away the memories, happy and painful at the same time, like someone filling his heart with immeasurable joy while at the same time twisting a knife into it. By letting him see her clear as crystal, hear her laugh like tinkling bells, holding her just out of his reach, a cruel reminder that she was dead, that she'd never come back.

Death. Something he'd never really come to terms with. To him, death was a robber, stealing lives as if they were gold, gleefully collecting them as people mourned their deceased loved ones. But now he could see that he was death, he was the wretched god wreaking his havoc on others, choosing who would live and who would die, able to decide at whim. Suddenly, he felt sick. The rifle fell from his hands.

What if these people were someone else's Laela? Someone who another person would cry for, mourn and grieve, who would hunt him down as surely as he wanted to hunt down Mark. He couldn't do it- he knew the pain. He knew that Laela had been killed by the order of the Organization, and that these snipers were the Organization's just as much as Mark had been. The revelation however was enough to bring him to his knees, to bring burning tears to his eyes. Something like an arrow pierced his shoulder. He closed his eyes. In the distance, he heard someone call his name.

The caller is Nero for all concerned... And Chaos should be fine, just more disheveled than usual for the next few days, but somehow I don't think he'll be lashing out as much for the next few days either. Nobody kill Chaos, I adore him too much to even stand the thought of killing him. Even if he sacrifices himself. That ending is much too cliche and personally, he should keep living. But, that aside, how was my writing? Good? Bad? Lay it on me.
