But don't you think...nah, I'll go with it anyways. :V

------

IdentityUnknown slipped away. Again.

She was probably going to get a death threat this time but she honestly didn't care. She couldn't stay still...not with news like this. And she personally didn't care what Nero or Chaos ended up thinking.

...Yes, IdentityUnknown was most certainly a troublemaker.

It wasn't much trouble. A little sneaking, a little imagination, a little speed thinking, a little talking. Really, it was quite simple. Simplicity was what they apparently had been going for (it made for easier escape and defense), but it was also the chink in their armor.

All was going smoothly until she bumped into someone who was all-too-familiar.

------

Too lazy to write something long. :V

Wow.. I didn't think she'd seriously run away... She's done that way too many times already... I would write, but I'm in school right now. It's lunch time right now.

I apologize for the double post, but this is the quickest for you guys to realize I've written something...

***********

It'd been a long time since Chaos had had to use his excellent voice-mimicking skills, but here he was, wearing the bugs, trying his best to sound like Nero as he carried out the mission. Nero was still by the bushes, himself admitting it wasn't okay to let himself break into the building- if he accidentally killed someone in his current mental state, it would very likely cause him to shatter. Nero could already see enough blood on his hands- he didn't need more.

Occasionally Chaos had to grunt things to himself, acting out a usual playful banter between him and his best friend, making sure to keep any hint of pity or tension out of his voice. Nero had enthusiastically volunteered (more like forced his way in and kicked everybody else out) for the jib, and now Chaos had to act all bubbly and happy. If there was anything more difficult, someone had to explain what.

He broke into the building easily, thankful to have a reason to stop his ceaseless chatter, carefully sneaking through hallways and avoiding guards. And getting into the security room, knocking out everybody, and essentially hi-jacking the system. He decided to be an over-achiever and turned off the Internet, and the electricity while he was at it. The jail immediately darkened, but emergency power still allowed everything to be visible. Chaos slipped out, hearing panic from both prisoners and guards alike. His next stop was the archives.

They weren't too hard to find- he'd been in buildings like this enough times that he could guess where everything was- bathrooms, closets, cells, office, etc. He took out a miniature flashlight and grasped it firmly between his teeth, searching through the files until he arrived at the section with Mark. He quickly read it over, elation and a sick joy spreading over him. Mark was dead. He'd been executed just a few days prior. This was the truth, he could feel it.

He almost skipped out of the building, the inky blackness and confusion giving him the perfect amount of cover needed for a clean escape. He then remembered the bug, and had to stop himself from happily announcing, "Guess what? That bastard Mark is dead." Instead, he said, "Mark is dead. He was executed a few days ago.

*************

Aeyra dropped her iTouch, and it clattered onto the pavement below as it grew silent- Mark dead, there was no way. Even Aeyra, who'd given up hope the moment Nero announced his suspicion, could not help but stand in shock, trying to figure out what emotion to feature next. Mark was dead. Gone. And no rescue mission could get him back from heaven or hell, whichever one he ended up in.

*****************

Chaos approached his friend slowly, taking in Nero's curled, defensive position, head in his knees, not crying, but motionless, still grieving in his own Nero-ish way.

"Buddy, turn them off, will you?" asked Chaos gently, motioning to the bugs.

Nero looked up, blinking reddened green eyes, nodding as he muttered, "Deactivate." He then resumed his miming of a ball, while Chaos relaxed next to him.

"Nero... Mark's dead," said Chaos emotionlessly, wondering if the other blond boy even cared. "He was executed, just like you said."

"I'm always right, never doubt that," rasped Nero in a scratchy voice, the laughing undertone making Chaos's worry lessen a bit. "Chaos... While our problems aren't the same, do you know how to handle them? I've suppressed it all these years, and now it's springing back at full-force, and I don't know what to do. Now after saying that to you, I can't close my eyes, because I see blood everywhere, and I see my mom laying on the floor. How do you see Laela in your dreams?"

Chaos hesitated, taking a minute before answering. "In the beginning, all I could dream about was that night, her head in my arms, the fading light in her eyes, and her gentle good-bye whisper in my ear. But now, we're separated by a glass wall, one that divides the living and the dead. I'm so close to her, so close that I could taste her breath, but the only part of her I have is how she looks. I can't hear what she's saying, can't touch her, can't cross that damn barrier. It's getting better though, it's getting less painful, but I know I'll always dream of Laela." Chaos looked over and Nero, and saw the green-eyed boy giving the smallest of smiles.

"So maybe one day I won't be so frightened. Every time I dream, I'm only five again, and I feel the fear. But at the same time, I'm fifteen, and I can feel the full weight of what I've done. If it had been anyone but the Organization, I'd have been locked up in an asylum. I'll survive knowing they'll affect me less and less." The side of Nero's mouth twitched. "Or I could just drink coffee to keep from sleeping."

"Don't," advised Chaos, sympathy in his eyes. "The faster you confront it, the less difficult it is. It's only so bad now because you've never faced your problems head-on."

"So no coffee?"

"No coffee," Chaos confirmed.

"Dammit."

You could edit your posts... I only double posted so others could see something was added because DCW IRL? wasnt touched for about 12-ish hours or something.

How was it? *yawns* So tired..

My turn, this time I'll try to follow the plot...

-- -- --

Tsukiko sighed deeply. Others were bored too. Or maybe 'bored' wasn't the correct word in that situation. Depressed was much better. Mark was already dead and they had come to New Jersey for nothing. Now they just stood quietly and waited Chaos and Nero.

Finally those two came. And for some reason seeing Chaos made Tsukiko angry. She didn't really understand it herself but she was extremely angry.

"Let's go before someone notices us." Chaos said unemotionally. Ayera and KKLT nodded. Others were too tired and shocked to do anything else than follow.

------

"Tsukiko, what's up? You look scary." Chelsea asked. They were sitting on the floor of an abnoned building(the same one where you guys slept and where Monsi found me). Because there were so many of them, they had split up to two rooms.

"Like living death?"

"Not this time, just scary." Chelsea laughed.

"Maybe because I'm angry."

"We all are."

"No, you guys are shocked. Especially IU even though she is not here. I wonder where she is... Anyways, I'm angry."

"...Why are you angry then?"

"One: we came here for nothing. Two: I had several questions to ask from Mark. Three: I don't understnad these 'flashbacks'. And four: Chaos, he looks far too happy."

"Happy? I don't see any happiness on his face."

"Maybe he has been trained well and that's why we don't see it... that happiness."

"But you just said you see it and then you are talking about 'we'."

"I don't know... Maybe I'll take a walk. I don't feel like sitting still."

"Okay..."

Tsukiko rose and left the room. She walked stairs up to the next floor. "Uh, I feel dizzy. Maybe I shouldn't left others..."

------

THUMP

"Eh, what was that?" Nero thought aloud. Others turned their glance towards the ceiling too.

"Is someone in the next floor?" Misaki asked.

"I hope it's not an enemy." KKLT stated when LIA appeared to the door.

"Tsuki fainted in upper floor." She panted heavily. It seemed she had run even though the room she had been was right next to theirs.

"What? Why is she there?" Ayera asked.

"She wanted to walk a bit and left our room but then we heard that 'thump'. We ran immediately up and found her from there." LIA explained. "I run here to tell you. Chaos and Monsi are moving her now."

------

It was rainy and windy. Like a storm. She stood still and stared at a man in front of her. That man held his gun against her head. That man named Mark.

"There is no room for traitors." Mark said.

She didn't understand. What was he talking about? Was he talking to her? Or someone else?

BANG

She fell to the ground. Someone ran and stopped next to her. That someone she knew. He picked her up as tears floated down his cheeks. She didn't wanted to see him sad. It hurt much more than the wound Mark had caused to her.

She couldn't hear her own voice and barely even heard his voice either.

"Don't die on me." He said. "Don't die!"

She answered. Asked him to sing. Sing a song she wanted to hear for the last time.

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me..."

She didn't hear it anymore. She was sad. But she was happy too. And couldn't understand why.

------

Tsukiko rose up quickly and scared others. She was in the same room she had left. Others were also there.

"Tsuki?! You finally woke up." LIA and Chelsea hugged Tsukiko tightly.

"Finally? How long time I was off?" Tsukiko asked when the girls let her go.

"Two hours I think. Are you okay? You just fainted." KKLT gave the answer. Tsukiko nodded.

"Mmm... Tsuki?" Sayomi asked carefully.

"Yes?"

"Well, Chelsea, LIA and Monsi told us about your... what was the word you used?"

"'Flashback'."

"Did you have another one?"

"Yes... I think it was the last one... She died in it."

"Died? How you could... see it then if she died?" Chelsea interupted.

"Body remembers, even though a person had died... I think." Monsi said.

"I... she was happy in it. But she was also sad." Tsukiko said quietly. "She was happy that she saw a person she loved the most even though she was sad she had to leave him..."

"Why did she died?" Nero joined to the conversation.

"She was shot. I saw the shooter's face."

"Who it was?"

"It's not nice to talk about a person who has recently died." Tsukiko said as an answer. She didn't wanted to talk about it anymore. Seeing memories and having feelings which didn't belong to her... It was hard. Especially because she didn't understand them.

The whole room stood quiet. But no one notice the expression on Chaos's face. Exept Nero.

-- -- --

Guh, finally I wrote this! The flashback part is bit different than the original one Aya wrote because I see things in different way. I don't have Laela's thoughs. I just said things she had said and did what she had done...

Screw it, I HATE my stupid iTouch. It just deleted my post, WTH?!?! Okay, deep breaths Amy, *breathes*, okay, I'm better. But Tsuki, Pyre's missing you know... We would be in panic, not in um, immediate depression. You're right about Chaos being happy though. But I think he has the right to it and so much more. In Chaos's case, murder could have been justified... (I'll twist your words.) BTW, can you tell me the point of your flashbacks? Laela was a character I intended to just be in Chaos's dreams, and just be a reason he wants vengeance. Her purpose is to be a martyr. And it's hard to know how to write reactions and plot when I have no idea what your intention is...

***************

There was something missing. Someone to be specific. Aeyra could feel it like a cold chill seeping slowly through her body- she did a swift head count. And another, and another. Not everybody was accounted for. Another check. It was Pyre.

Not wanting to stir up unnecessary panic, she asked KKLT, Nero, and Chaos to come talk to her as everybody slumped moodily in the motel room, stepping into the adjacent room, where nobody cuttently was because they had all wanted to stick together- only for the day.

"Pyre's missing," said Aeyra in a hushed tone, causing Nero to lift one eyebrow, KKLT to gasp, and Chaos to simply look more bored.

"We have to go find her!" replied KKLT, determinately heading back for the other room.

"It's the girl's own fault if something bad happened to her," yawned Chaos, unconcerned. "She didn't want to stick with us and left. If she gets killed, it's her fault."

"Don't say-" Aeyra's angry outburst was stopped by Nero, who sighed.

"I knew they'd come in handy, I just knew they would," he grumbled, pulling out a small device out of his pocket, and at the press of a button, it unfurled into a disk-like screen. "Unknown to any of you, I put trackers on you guys while you were sleeping in case something like this happens. Don't yell at me, I knew what I was doing. You guys tend to overdo the unimportant things and underdo the important things. Luckily, you have me and Chaos." Chaos twitched uncomfortably. "She's here. She's roaming the city. She tried to get into the jail, but she left it. Only three people or less should go."

"You and Chaos again?" asked KKLT disbelievingly, looking at Nero contemptuously. "You guys can't just-"

"We can, but that's not what I wanted. The three of you closest to um- Pyre will have to bring her back. You could take her back with words. Chaos and I would have to resort to brute force if it came to the worst. And besides, I agree with Chaos. Why waste time trying to find someone who obviously left of her own free will?"

"Because- because she's our friend," answered Aeyra hesistantly. Pyre probably had left of her own accord again, and in a way, Nero and Chaos were right that it would waste time. But what time? They had plenty of it. However, going out into the open was dangerous... "And because she's important."

"Listen, I'm not bragging or trying to put any of you down, but us four, us Organization four, make up over 90% of this group's strength. We've grown up together, fighting, surviving, strategizing, and you guys never did any of it before this whole shinanagan happened. We could lose most of you, and in terms of power, we'd hardly be affected. Aeyra, Chelsea, and Misaki learned a little, but it was less than a week. That can't come close to a lifetime." Nero raised his chin haughtily. "Chaos, I think you'll agree when I say us four will take no part in this waste-of-time rescue mission."

"Agreed," confirmed Chaos, blue eyes glinting. "We're on your team, but we're fighting on our own terms. We feel no connection to any of you. We could care less if one of you died. Look at what Brise and Krev are doing, they're reading books with each other like normal. They're not letting this get in their daily relaxing routine. We're different. And we're not helping."

********

Their true feelings revealed!!! I feel like I'm writing myself OOC... I have Slytherin ways, and I'll go with whatever benefits me most. But I don't want to sound like a jerk... ... *meh*

Alright, IdentityUnknown breathed, I know New York.

A map was stuffed in her right pocket just in case, but IdentityUnknown only needed to find the subway to find her way around. Hoboken. As long as she got to the right destination she should be able to get to S.

She momentarily thought back to what had happened at the jail and involuntarily, anger bubbled inside of her. Why had he been there?

...That was a stupid question. She knew why he had been there.

John, she thought darkly.

******

"What are you doing here?"

IdentityUnknown froze at the familiar voice and looked up. Her eyes narrowed at the FBI agent who seemed all-too-pleased by the coincidence.

"Does it matter?" IdentityUnknown responded coldly. "I'm leaving."

John smirked. "This is a jail."

"Yes," IdentityUnknown replied. "But not for me." She turned and left.

Oddly enough, John did not follow.

******

A woman came and stood next to John. "You let her go," she said. "Again."

"Yes," John said calmly. "Again."

"Why?"

John leaned back against a wall, hands in his pockets. "That's for me to know and you to figure out."

------

Just thought I'd explain who I ran into.
