Doesn't matter. *shrugs* We'll just pretend... It was a note left by Nero because it was eerily similar to my handwrigin.

Samantha was sitting in school, flipping through a book. The teacher was droning on in the background, and Samantha's mind was quickly wandering, touching random subjects such as Discworld, Pokemon, and DCW.

Samantha blinked. What was that? She had a feeling that Jean was in some kind of trouble......

Nah, not possible. Anyway, Jean could take care of herself. Samantha absentmindedly rubbed the spot where Jean had kicked her in the gut.

@Sam: Lol. But that was like...millenniums ago. :V

@Aeyra: A long time as in two or three months. :V

IdentityUnknown slammed the door of the taxi and approached the building. Ignoring the crowded Reception table, she went to the Special Services table in the corner, all too aware of the security camera behind her. Discreetly, she showed the receptionist the letter she had received. The lady nodded and handed her a card. "14th floor," she said quietly. The number didn't help. It was her least favorite number after all.

IdentityUnknown slipped the card into the elevator and pressed the number 14 before finding a small bulletin saying that "Floor 14 was under renovation." A little too tired to be amused, she leaned against the elevator, listening to the elevator music. She closed her eyes slightly and breathed in deeply. A rush of memories came back to her -- everything from playing in the elevator when she was 5 to being kidnapped and held hostage.

There was a ding and the elevator doors opened. IdentityUnknown hesitated before stepping out -- she didn't want to be here. But there was something else that compelled her to.

"I knew you would come," the man in the gray chair said. IdentityUnknown stiffened slightly and subconsciously moved her hand towards her pocket. She could almost hear the smirk in his voice.

"So...we meet again. Let's make this a more cordial visit, shall we?" The man turned around.

"John," IdentityUnknown spat with disgust. "I came here for information."

"I know that," the man said calmly. "I called you here for information as well...and a contract of some sorts between you and me. You do remember what we discussed last time."

IdentityUnknown tensed. "Yes, I do. And you know how I feel about it. Now...tell me about this information or I'm leaving."

The man chuckled. "I'm afraid that won't be so easy. After all, you've left rather abruptly the first two times. I hope you aren't going to leave like that this time...it may not turn out to be extremely pleasant." The man smirked.

"I am aware," IdentityUnknown said automatically. She blinked and felt a random urge to laugh. John looked at her curiously.

"Now talk." IdentityUnknown focused her look on John and the older man shifted uncomfortably. She didn't blink. "Talk," she repeated. "Or rather, show."

John's mouth was in a tight line and IdentityUnknown could practically see him thinking about the best way to do this. "Alright," he decided. "But I'll let Gray talk you through it first."

'Kay. I don't really get this. But I'm just gonna do whatever. xP

Also, I'm gonna put Cure-kun in this, cause he's kinda forgotten..

-----------------------------------

Wildheart blinked her eyes open as the sunlight poured in through the blinds. She sat up, still yawning, and stretched. "Ohayo, minnasan~!" She said, waking the almost-awake Aka-chan and Cure-kun. "Oh hi.." Cure-kun said groggily as Aka-chan rubbed her eyes. "What time is it?" She asked, sounding sleepy.

Wildheart looked at her watch. 10:37am. She blinked. "10:37 am" She announced.

"What?! That late? We have to wake everyone up!"

Wildheart nodded, getting up and going to the nearest bundle of blankets, which was Aeyra-chan's if she remembered correctly, and shook it. "Aeyra-chan!" She called, fumbling into the blanket trying to find her friend, "Wake up!"

To her horror, under the blanket was......a suitcase. Hers to be exact. Wildheart looked around, shocked. "Aeyra-chan's gone!"

"What?!?"

Aka-chan and Cure-kun stopped in the middle of waking Sayomi, who happened to awake from their cries. She immediately noticed the looks on our faces, and sat up. "What happened?"

"Aya-chan's gone..."

She gasped. "No way! Where could she have gone to??"

By then the whole room was stirring with awaking teammates. "Aeyra's gone?"

"It appears so..." Wildheart said, showing them the empty "bed".

"What shall we do then?"

"First, BK, run into the other rooms, and see if she's there," Wildheart ordered, and BK dashed out. "'Kay!"

The group looked at each other, anxiety written on their faces.

"Arghh! We can't afford to lose more time finding other people!"

"Why are so many people leaving??"

After a few seconds, BK rushed in, panting. "Nothing." She said. "Chaos, Nero, Krev and Brise are gone too."

"Ehh???"

"How??"

"What..?"

The group grew even more confused.

"Guys! Calm down!" Tsukiko yelled over the noise. "How 'bout we contact KKLT and Misaki first, let them know what happened?"

Aka-chan nodded. "Good idea..." She said, taking out her phone and dialing the numbers.

The phone rang. Once. Twice. Three times.

The room grew quiet.

"Hello?" Misaki's voice broke the silence.

"Misaki!" Aka-chan cried. "Aeyra, Chaos, Nero, Brise and Krev are gone!"

"..."

"Have you found Pyre yet?"

"..."

"Not yet?"

The group leaned in.

"Well, try to find her as quickly as possible,'kay? We just wanted to tell you that another member of our team has gone."

"..."

"'Kay." She said, and snapped her phone shut.

------------------------------------------------------

"This is so fustrating!" Cure-kun said, throwing a pillow down in anger.

"Calm down, Cure-kun," Aka-chan picked the pillow back up, "If she left with them, then at least she'll be safe.."

"But why would she have left with them?" He questioned.

"I don't know...I don't even know if she DID leave with them or not..."

"Well, if she didn't, then wher---"

"GUYS~!!!" Wildheart's cry cut into every conversation in the room.

"..What is it..?"

"Look what I found!!"

The group gathered in, wondering what it could be.

"Is that...a note..?"

"It looks like it..."

"What does it say..?"

Wildheart flattened the piece of paper on a desk. It was definitely scribbled in a hurry, but in Aeyra's handwriting nonetheless. She read it aloud.

-------------------------------------------------

Meh, I dunno if it's any good. Correct me if you can, please. And sorry it took so long. I had to do something in between....

Okay, I'll try to write something...

-- -- --

Tsukiko sighed. It was enough bad that IU had gone somewhere and KKLT, Misaki and Monsi had gone in order to find her. But now the "Fantastic4" plus Ayera had vanished too...

"Okay, we have some choices right now..." She said after a deep silence.

"Really? Tell us too..." Chelsea mumbled.

"Well, first one is that we go back to NYC, find FBI and be safe there."

"And do nothing?!" Cure-kun shouted. "Hey, Tsuki, that's not a choice right now!"

"I know!" Tsukiko shouted back. "The second one is that we split up in smaller teams. One of them goes to help KKLT to find IU. One tries to find Ayera's group and one stays here and tries to find details..."

"About what?" BK interupted.

"Everything possible."

"Well, that's much better idea than the first one." Wildheart stated. "Is there any others?"

"No but..." Tsukiko stopped." I'm saying this only once. I'm not your leader. That place belongs to IU. But right now I can replace her since we found her. And as a leader I say this: stay together. Trust in each others. That's the most important thing right now."

-- -- --

Gotta go to geography exam now. Bye!

Yeah... .... I forget what happened. :P But splitting up won't be good if somebody (or something) finds you. Devise a system with tri-hourly reports to ensure you're all alive.

Well, I don't know I'm in danger yet... Maybe something will happen in next part. Right now I'm too lazy to write anything...

Besides, splitting in smaller groups will help us to hide. I mean... How would you hide with a group of... eight?

United we stand, divided we fall. *shrugs* You hide, because eight isn't too large. You're not scavenging out in the woods. You're travelling through massive cities.

-------------------------

After lunch the team of three went back into the van. Conversation was minimal as the mood was pretty heavy. Every move they make now have to be very careful since they knew that the FBI might be keeping a close eye on them.

"What happened to the note?" misaki asked.

"I haven't read it yet." KKLT replied.

"Maybe we should read it together now..." monsi commented with a slight tone of impatience.

"okay... " KKLT took out the piece of paper very carefully, pinching the sides of the paper tightly, as though she is afraid of the contents.

Slowly she unfolded the note and everyone stared at the contents.

KKLT squinted slightly as she read what was in the note. Everyone looked up at each other with confusion after reading the note.

"What does that mean?" misaki asked.

"No idea?" monsi replied turning his eyes to KKLT.

"Then we'll have to find out..." KKLT shrugs. "but it will be more difficult than finding pyre..." KKLT gave a cold chuckle.

"So now what?" misaki asked worriedly.

"We'll take a chance then..." KKLT answered with a troubled look.

"Right..." monsi buckled his seatbelt and started the engine. "Where to first?"

"Back to base. First." KKLT Instructed as monsi stepped on the accelerator.

As they drove back to base, many thoughts flooded KKLT's mind... Is what she had interpreted, what the note was trying to imply?

"What are you thinking John...?" KKLT thought to herself....

I love ambiguity... :P
