I'll add a little bit... :)

--------------------

Monsi is in another room with Cure-kun, staring blankly at the ceiling, struggling to remember anything.

Out of the blue, Cure-kun approached Monsi, and handed to him his backpak and said, "Oh, I almost forgot. Here are your things."

"Oh, thanks.", he said as he browsed the contents of the bag. It contains his passport, laptop, cellphones, and some documents, including a vehicle registration.

"Um...excuse me, but do I really own a bus?", Monsi asked Cure-kun.

"Believe it or not, yes you do. If I remember correctly, it's a bulletproof one."

"Do you know where it is?"

"I think we left it at the FBI."

"Why?"

"Let's just say there's someone after us and we have to abandon it temporarily."

"Oh...who is it?"

"His name is John, an FBI agent who was supposed to help us take down the 'organization', but it wasn't his real intention."

"The 'organization'? What organization is it?"

"I'm sorry but it's already too complicated for me to tell you. Try checking your laptop...you might remember something."

"Okay.", then Monsi turned on his laptop. Unfortunately, it's protected by a password, but, fortunately, there's a password hint that says: "Japanese Title of Detective Conan in romaji".

Monsi showed to Cure-kun his laptop and asked him, "Hey, do you know the answer?"

"Yes, let me type it for you...", and Cure-kun typed in the password. After few seconds, the desktop appeared.

"Thanks.", Monsi said to Cure-kun.

"No problem. Try browsing its contents for the meantime. There might be something there that will make you remember things."

Then, someone entered the room, holding something in her hand. She signalled Cure-kun to be quiet.

"I'm sorry, Monsi, but I think this is the only way to get your memory back."

A loud thud was heard.

-------------------------

You guys decide on who would hit me and if my memory has came back. :P

icon_twisted.gificon_twisted.gificon_twisted.gificon_twisted.gificon_twisted.gif

I have discovered a way to save Monsi from an upcoming concussion. Hope you guys don't mind if I write on your side a lil' bit... (no one really has the character to hit Monsi, but someone had to.... so Chelsea, I'm sorry. :P)

***************************************

Aeyra waited somewhat impatiently, leaning against the wall, drumming her fingers against it as she held the phone against her ear, knowing it would only ring a few more times before it got transferred into voice mail. Come on, guys... she thought, wondering if Nero's phone had caller ID, and if the unknown number was keeping them from answering. You have to pick up...

"Hello?" asked someone, sounding a bit annoyed. "Aeyra, is that you?"

"Yes," she replied, hearing someone scream 'WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!' in the background. "Um... what happened, Pyre?"

"Oh, Chelsea had the brilliant idea of hitting Monsi in the head to see if she could reverse his memory loss," she explained, watching the ensuing chaos. "Thing is, Monsi moved out of the way coincidentally and she hit the table, and now Monsi is screaming his head off because she tried."

"... I'd be screaming my head off if anyone tried to hit me in the head," said Aeyra after a short silence. "Where are you guys right now? You can meet up with us- Nero said it's okay. And you'll be safer here than on your own."

"Who tried to hit who in the head?" asked Nero casually, seemingly appearing in thin air next to Aeyra. "I didn't get the impression that they were very violent people. That sounds like something Ari would do to Kei though."

"Monsi lost his memory, and Chelsea tried to revive it that way," she answered, looking over to the blond boy. "Do you have a way of getting memories back?"

"What do you think I am, a miracle worker?" asked Nero, his voice dry. He rolled his eyes, and then laughed. "Actually, I've been developing a prototype antidote for memory loss- it's not poisonous or anything, the worst that could happen is you get knocked out for a few days." Aeyra stared at him hard. "I'd appreciate someone testing it."

"Pyre, did you hear that?" inquired Aeyra, wondering if it was even worth letting Nero try using his antidote that had the potential to knock someone out. "If you come over hear, Monsi might get his memory back."

"I'll ask everyone else. Call in an hour or two to check back on us."

*************************

Fail. But I don't feel like writing right now. :P

Nice job, Tsukiko! laugh.gif

My turn again... :)

---------------------------------------------

A loud thud was heard, not a body falling to the ground, but a metal bat hitting a table.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?! YOU COULD'VE KILLED ME!!", Monsi shouted as he ran to the corner of the room away from Chelsea, who was the one that's supposed to hit him with a metal bat on his head, but failed to do so.

"Sorry... I was just trying to get your memory back because we don't have much time.", Chelsea answered, as everyone else gathered to the room.

"Well, can you just at least let me remember some things on my own??!!!"

"We could, but it would take long but, as I have said before, we don't have time to wait."

"WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT FOR YOU GUYS FOR ME TO REMEMBER EVERYTHING??"

This time, IU answered, "It's still pretty complicated for you to understand, but first we have to-"

" 'We have to' what, hit me again with a metal bat while I'm asleep because it might work??!! I don't think so, 'CAUSE I'M GETTING THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!"

-----------------------------------------------

Please continue... :P

Since everyone had gotten approximately... Less than an hour of well-deserved rest for the past day or so, Nero decided that they should go to bed and let him be sentry, despite the fact it was only around noon.

"I'm not tired," he assured them, waving them off towards the multiple bedrooms with a flick of his hand. "And look, I've got coffee too. A good one, with all the sugar and caffeine and sugar I could possibly want from Starbucks. Do you really think I'd go to sleep and let this cool down?"

So that's what led him to staring at the screen with an interested expression as he watched a young girl, maybe fifteen, sixteen years of age, nodding as a man, a man he recognized, gave her orders. The man who he knew was 'traitor' status in the Organization.

He recognized the girl too- she was definitely Tsukiko, there was no mistaking her, but from behind, she almost looked like Laela. Thank god Chaos's sleeping... thought Nero, taking a sip of hot coffee. Otherwise, he might go crazy if he looked at the wrong moment...

It would have been useful if the room also recorded sounds, but alas, it didn't. Shame. But that didn't mean Nero didn't have the brains to figure out what was going on. Hell, anyone with a brain could figure it out.

He grabbed a gun, left a note, and headed out to intercept the pair.

Me no feel like writing more. Me want sleep. *falls asleep*

Okay! I'm in again!

-- -- --

The girl was opening the door when she heard some steps coming towards her from the corridor right behind the door.

"Shit... I don't have enough time to hide..." She stepped away when the door opened. Nero was there, holding a gun in his hand.

Then everything happened really quickly. Before the girl could react, Nero had already pressed her against a wall, to the only blind spot from the camera in the case someone might go to the monitor room.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" He asked.

"I bet you already know..." The girl whispered but noticed then something. The place where they were was a blind spot from the camera but not a blind spot from the street where Rod had parked his van.

---

Rod smirked. One of the targets were out now. He took his pistol and aimed carefully. "Two flies with one bullet. Bye bye..." He whispered even though he knew that the girl would hear it.

---

The girl knew what would happen. She pushed Nero away and kicked to his stomach to get him out of the bullet's way. The bullet hitted the wall three centimeters from the girl's right ear. She ducked, avoiding the next two and rushed behind some trash bins. Nero was already there, after her kick.

"Rod, what the hell was that? Are you trying to kill me too?" She said angrily as she took the earpierce from her ear and pressed a little button in it that Nero would also hear the man's answer.

"Of course, I did try it. Did you actually believe that I had some other use for you?" They almost could hear Rod's laughing. The girl glanced nervously at Nero who still had his gun and was now pointing at her with it.

"Hmh, so I don't need to help you anymore? What a relief since you tricked me from the begining." The girl laughed.

"What do you mean?"

"This is not me. At least not this body. I just realized it."

"Well, right. Iram happened to find that girl and noticed her similarity with you. And I'm not talking only about the outer appearance."

"That mad scientist. Can't leave others alone even when they are dead."

"That's right. But I would call him genius."

"Let me guess. My original body was stored in ice right away and that's why my mind was still awaken when this girl got my blood cells for the first time?" She really hoped that Nero was listening carefully and understanding the situation.

"Did you read some files when I was driving?"

"Yes, while pretending confused and ackward little girl."

"Now is my time to guess. You are going to save that girl now. Along with you fellow team mates."

"Correct."

"Hahaha! You are as naïve as always, Laela! She can't be helped anymore!"

"Let's say that you are the one who'll lose."

"I'm not gonna say that." The answer came very close. Rod stood right in front of them, pointing with his gun. "Did you really think that I'll sit still when I'm talking with someone I'm going to kill?"

-- -- --

If you feel like asking something, go ahead. I'll try my best in answering.

Nero froze, seeing the gun locked in on his forehead. It wasn't really out of fear as much as caution- after all, it happened every few weeks or so. And all these silly, idiotic 'assassins', thinking it would be so easy, just a bullet in the head. The only person who could kill Nero at peak energy and condition would probably be Kei, as the older boy knew exactly how Nero worked. Obviously, this man didn't. Otherwise, he would have sniped him.

With one swift fluid motion, Nero jump-kicked the man, sending the gun spiraling out onto the street, and holding a knife from his pocket to Rod's neck, smiling. "You know, they should call me Nero the Ninja," he said casually, sounding kind of like a little kid, drawing a few beads of blood. "I'm quick as a flash, sneaky as a fox, and cunning as a snake. And best of all, I can kill you without any effort. But what you know could be useful." In his other hand, he took out a blow-dart laced with a powerful anesthetic, and blew it into Rod's skin. The man dropped like a stone.

"How-" started Tsukiko, shocked at how quickly Nero had dispatched him. "Right, Nero. I forgot."

"Laela's memories. I can fix that," he commented, giving her a quick one-over, and pulling Rod with him. "Come with me- if you don't, I'll just have to use another blow-dart. And trust me, you don't want that."

***************************************

Never underestimate Nero the Ninja. :P The end.

"Sorry, but this girl belongs to me."

The voice came from a girl with an umbrella. After a brief pause, she said, "What, the umbrella? It was raining a little while ago."

She paused again, then said, "Anyways, the girl comes with me. Unless you want to feel the full brunt of the Bunker Boys, just leave her and run, and you live."

Nero simply stared at the girl. Then he raised an eyebrow. "The Bunker Boys are still in commission after losing their leader to death row? And...judging by what I see, you're likely Sarah, are you not?"

Sarah sighed, then said, "I'm not good with negotiations, I'll admit. But, it looks like you don't want to leave her, so..."

In a flash, she pulled out a pistol..

"I'll have to resort to force."

Moho, what an earth? Are you writing again something, that right now seems to have nothing to with the story? And don't ignore those little words 'seems' and 'right now'.

I'll write later... Now I'm at school so maybe after school then.

IdentityUnknown checked her watch. Aeyra should be free around now...

She went to the bathroom, locked the door, and took out her phone. The other girls were out at the minute, but being cautious always helped. Turning on the shower, she went to her call history and clicked on the most recent, a blocked number.

The phone rang and rang and rang. IdentityUnknown was just getting worried when it was picked up.

"Hello?" she whispered into the phone.

There was no reply, though she could hear slight rustling. Clothes. Aeyra's phone was in her pocket. That must mean...

IdentityUnknown briefly remembered the last time she'd picked up a call like that before brushing the thought away. If Aeyra was willing to pick up but couldn't talk, that meant that she was in some kind of trouble.

"...so...I'll have to resort to force."

Well that confirmed it.

IdentityUnknown slipped out of the bathroom, took her laptop, and retreated. Aeyra said they were in NYC...

Suddenly, a message popped up on her phone. It read: CONNECT TO COMPUTER

IdentityUnknown did as it said and an address appeared on the screen. She quickly scanned it and disconnected the phone, holding it back to her ear.

The other end had hung up.

For some reason, IdentityUnknown couldn't say she was surprised.

------

We might as well join up now. And I'm guessing either Nero has the phone at the moment or Aeyra pressed some kind of function that sends a distress signal and address or something. :rolleyes: And hanging up...well, there isn't much possibility a call like that can last very long without being discovered.

P.S. I hope that your phone isn't loud. =X

Moho, what an earth? Are you writing again something, that right now seems to have nothing to with the story?

No. If you read carefully, my portion would fit.

===========================================

Sarah raised an eyebrow, then grinned. She let off two rounds, which Nero promptly dodged and returned with a dart. Sarah somersaulted, barely dodging the dart, and let off another round. Nero dodged this one as well.

"You're good. But you're no match for me."

She quickly flipped a small switch on the pistol, which caused it to shudder. "This is the end for you."

She pulled the trigger, and much to Nero's surprise, not one, but 6 bullets suddenly came out the barrel. He cursed, dropped both Rod and stepped away from Tsukiko. "Burst fire modification...eh?"

Sarah sighed. "Everyone notices the burst fire, but not the extension." She reloaded, then aimed at Nero's head, only to find that Nero's dart was near her neck.

In a flash, she kicked the umbrella on the ground straight up, and the umbrella blocked the dart. She grabbed the umbrella, pressed a switch on the handle, and a net came out of the umbrella, entangling Nero.

Just then, Sarah pulled out a walkie-talkie. "Huh? What? Wrong target? Ehhhhh?" She sighed and put away the walkie-talkie. "Looks like I got the wrong girl."

She raised the umbrella, and ran. But while running, she said:

"Hey, IU! I know you're listening! Your boyfriend's alive!"

And she disappeared.

@Moho: I was at school. I read in hurry. I'm sorry.

I'm still using 'the girl' about myself.

-- -- --

The girl looked at the other girl who had just come, carrying an umbrella. After some really sonfusing happeings that girl, Sarah, had shouted: "Hey, IU! I know you're listening! Your boyfriend's alive!"

"What? Mark was alive? How?" The girl felt a slight anger growing inside her but remembered then: "No, this 'Tsukiko' trusts in him..." She took some steps towards Nero, without letting her eyes leave Sarah, and helped him out of the net.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, but how is possible to mix up with you - no matter which one you happen to be - and IU? You two look absolutely different." The blond boy mumbled.

"Maybe it's not the way we look like but the way we are connected to Mark. Tsukiko met with him a few times and was somekind of spy for him..."

"Who are you now?"

"Hmh, let's say this is Tsukiko's body and my mind. You can call me with my own name, Laela, but only if you don't tell Chaos."

"May I ask why?"

"I don't wanna hurt him anymore. If he hears the situation with me he probably would break down after I'm gone again..."

Note: Sarah left already. And she assumed falsely that the phone Nero was carrying was linked to IU.

=====================

"So, you made me drive all the way here for nothing?"

"Nah, not quite. I did manage to get Mark's girl interested, though" was the response.

The two who were talking were Sarah, who recently ran from Nero and Tsukiko after she noticed she got the wrong target, and Grace, the Bunker Boy's main driver. Despite the glaring darkness, Grace was wearing sunglasses.

"Sam's not gonna be happy that we took one of his 'beauties' out for a joyride."

"Don't worry. He won't mind that much."

"...You don't really know Sam that well, do you?"

"I know enough. He's crazy."

"...Anyways, get in the car."

And with that, both girls got into the car, and drove off.

"Laela, I have a question," started Nero solemnly, staring straight at the girl. "I'm not trying to offend you or anything, but I'd like to offer a way to bring Tsukiko back."

"And eradicate me?" replied Laela crisply, her voice impossible to discern. "You don't even know how this was done."

"Of course I do!" Nero snapped, albeit quietly, looking at the ground. "I was one of the main contributors to the science. I know all branches and memory has fascinated me. I had no idea it was going to be used on anyone close to me, and I wouldn't have done it if I had known."

"You mean you don't want me here?" Laela's tone was guarded, and still cold and emotionless.

"Don't get me wrong. We all missed you, but you are supposed to be dead. And the fact is, your own body is decomposing somewhere in a cemetery. For you to be able to freely possess someone else's life, someone else's body is unnatural, Laela, you know that. You may be a double-crosser, but you always knew what was right." Nero could barely be heard, and his green eyes were shadowed with regret, but determination. "You shouldn't be here."

"I know," she whispered, and Nero noticed tears falling from her eyes. "I know that, but-" She broke off and coughed, trying to stifle the coming sobs. "I was dead. And now I'm alive again. I get to see everyone. I get to see Chaos. Just the mere thought of it makes me happy. I don't want to give all of this up again. I don't."

"I can't really relate," said Nero, careful not to evoke any more tears. "But I understand what you must be feeling. Stay for a few days. But you'll have to leave soon if you want to keep the secret to you and I, and Tsukiko's memories will be harder for me to retrieve with each passing minute." He paused, thinking. "Laela, how long have you been completely 'you', without any lapse of memory or intervention of Tsukiko's memories?"

"Maybe a day," she admitted. "That's about how long is crystal clear."

"Then you'll get three days. I can't leave you in Tsukiko's body forever. Don't let Chaos know. He'll just do his hardest to stop me."

"What would I want to stop?" Chaos appeared in the doorframe, yawning.

Shit...

**************************

But really, don't tell Chaos. I don't feel like writing all the emotions that would happen afterwards. :P I'll make him figure it out instead.

Okay, my turn now.

-- -- --

"Geez, this is great..." The girl thought as she zipped up the zipper of her jacket. She didn't want Chaos to see her clothes. After all they were they same she had worn when she had died. " You probably want stop Nero calling himself 'Nero the Ninja'." She said quickly. Chaos turned his head a bit and frowned.

"Tsukiko, what are you doing here?"

"I run away and took a train. I was going to meet Shannon." Good, he doesn't recognize me.

"Travelling without your bag." The boy pointed out.

"It's at that car." She pointed Rod's van. "I left it there after I saw Rod going towards this building. But Nero killed him right away."

"Not right away. He mentioned some random files he had with him." Nero lied. "Can you get them for me?"

"Geez... Fine then..." She turned around and walked to the van. She slid the side door and climbed in. Luckily Nero had given her an excuse to come to the van.

"I have to get rid on these weapons..." She took the gun from her pocket and two daggers from her boots. "It seems the best I can do now is to pretend to be that Tsukiko girl... I hope that won't be too hard."

She took the violet bag under the bench and found a bunch of Rod's files under another one.

Okay, I'll let Aya write what Nero and Chaos discussed about while 'I' was elsewhere.

IdentityUnknown was so focused on her work that she didn't hear the lock click until the door creaked open. Immediately on her guard, she sprang up, only to see the triumphant face of Misaki (holding a hair pin), the annoyed look of Cure-kun, the apologetic look of Lia, the bewildered look of Monsi, the slightly angry look of Chelsea, and the sheepish look of KKLT.

"Did you honestly think we wouldn't notice that your computer was gone?" huffed Chelsea. "I thought we were in on this together!"

IdentityUnknown rubbed her head slightly. "Hi?"

Really short, yes, but no time to make it longer.

"Well, this is certainly an odd meeting."

The voice came from one of the people at the table.

Rex, who happened to be seated farthest away from the door, stretched a bit and said, "I honestly have to agree. Who would expect that the leader of the Scarlet Riders," he pointed at a girl throwing a knife like a baton, "the chief of the Skull," and pointed to a muscled man with a shotgun tied to his chair, "the leader of the Brigade," he said, pointing at a young teen with sunglasses (and the speaker from earlier), "me, and the leader of the Bunker Boys would work together? Not me." He threw up his hands in the air, then looked around and said, "Come to think of it, Mark isn't here, is he?"

The leader of the Scarlet Riders caught her knife in midair and remarked, "I thought he died on death row. Which was a shame, but meant less competition." She resumed throwing her knife.

The chief of the Skull grunted. "I hated that guy. Always acting smug and superior because he was from the Organization. I wanted to empty a few rounds into him so, so badly."

Just then, the door flew open, and Mark, holding an umbrella, walked into the room, earning a deadly look from the chief of the Skull, which Mark payed no attention to.

He took the empty seat which happened to be next to Rex and the door. He folded his umbrella - "Sorry, it was raining a little while ago" - and sat down.

"Hey, guys. Did I miss anything?"

Rex sighed, then said, "Always late as usual. No, you didn't. We were about to get started."

"Alright, good." Mark cleared his throat, then began, "Look, the Organization's been a problem ever since it showed up. It's interfering with each of our interests, and we are losing members to the Organization day by day."

"We can't handle the Organization alone. With over 1,000 agents, we'll be screwed if we tried individual efforts. So, what I'm saying here is...let's work together."

The leader of the Scarlet Riders stopped throwing her knife once again, but this time placed it away in a sheath on her belt. "You are asking me, who has been the leader of a rival group, to join forces against the Organization?"

The chief of the Skull grunted. "I'd be happier dying then working with you."

The leader of the Brigade stood up, and said, "Now look. We've been rivals for a while. We've had territory wars going way back. But now there's a bigger threat here. If we don't stand together, we will fall divided." He sat back down.

The chief of the Skull sighed. "True...but...with him?"

Mark shrugged. "Beats me. If you want out of this deal, then go ahead and leave. I won't mind."

There was silence. Then the chief of the Skull said, with a hint of reluctance, "I'll work with you." The leader of the Brigade nodded in agreement.

The leader of the Scarlet Riders said, "Well, this seems like a plan worth going for. I'm in." Rex nodded.

Mark smiled. "Good. Very good. Yes."

"Now...for business. If we operated as seperate groups, we'd crumble. Yes, we work together, but that won't help. Let's merge our groups together, temporarily."

The leader of the Brigade nodded. "Stragetically wise."

The chief of the Skull grunted, and in a rare moment, smiled, and then said, "What's next, the sky falling," but his attitude told Mark that he was in.

The leader of the Scarlet Riders quipped, "Hear, hear." She paused, then said, "Yeah, I'm in."

Rex said, "So am I."

"Alright. From now on...this unified group will be called..."

"The Axis."

The Axis:

A groups consisting of the combination of the Skull, Scarlet Riders, Brigade, and Bunker Boys.

General Operations (Leader): Barry, Skull chief

Special Operations: Mark, Bunker Boy leader

IdentityUnknown rubbed her head slightly. "Hi?"

------

Really short, yes, but no time to make it longer.

Misaki worked diligently on trying to unlock the door that separated her, Legend, Chelsea, Neechan, Cure-kun and Monsi from kaichou and her computer. While doing so, her thoughts began to drift to what had taken place a few minutes before...

~~~
"I wonder what's she hiding," the girl muttered as she gave an annoyed glance at the room where the ever-secretive girl was.
"Hey Misaki, why looking so... Annoyed?"
The said girl turned around to see the faces of Chelsea, Legend, Neechan, Cure-kun and Monsi. She greeted, "Oh, hey guys. Didn't see you there for a minute."
She gave another glance at the room before answering the question that had been asked. "Well, I guess I'm a bit annoyed since kaichou's hiding stuff again..."
Chelsea and KKLT gave her a look, causing her to wince slightly, as it reminded the girl that they still very well remembered she had done the same with her injury.
She gave a nervous laugh before clearing her voice and continuing, "Well, for all we know, what kaichou may be hiding could be very important. So..." the girl took out a hairpin, "I'm going to see if I can sneak that computer out. I bet she's asleep by now, so it'd be a snap!"
Neechan spoke up, "Is that really ok? To do that?"
Before Misaki could answer, Chelsea interrupted, "I think we should. After all, we're all in this together, right? Hiding information from the rest of us will get us nowhere."
And before anyone could stop her, the young girl began to pick the lock.
~~~

CLICK!

A click was to be heard and she grinned happily as she turned the knob and let her and the rest in, being greeted by the older girl on her feet, looking ready for anything.

Chelsea huffed behind her, "Did you honestly think we wouldn't notice that your computer was gone? I thought we were in on this together!"

Kaichou rubbed her head slightly as she managed to let out a, "Hi?"

"Tell us what you were doing," Chelsea said through gritted teeth.

"Did you get anything?" questioned Misaki.

"Calm down guys, I'm sure IU had a reason..." Lia begged.

"Would someone explain?" Monsi demanded.

"It doesn't matter," IdentityUnknown interrupted. "Come on, let's get to the van."

------

IdentityUnknown turned on the ignition and she handed a map with a location written on it and a specific building circled to Lia. "Help me with directions. I studied it but I might need a little help."

"Where are we going?" asked Chelsea, still somewhat annoyed.

"Aeyra, where else?" IdentityUnknown replied. "Now please be quiet, I need to concentrate."

The rest of the van was quiet.
