She was surprised she hasn't died yet to her wound or no one has found her yet... Suddenly she heard that someone was whistling weakly. And the song was Amazing Grace. The woman started to run towards the sound. Suddenly it stopped. Shannon slowed down. She was in front of the cell number XXXX. Quietly she opened the door and went in. When she was locking the door she saw a girl who was handguffed and blindfolded. The girl was sleeping. "Hey, wake up." Shannon shaked the girl from her shoulder and took the blindfolding-thingy(I don't get the right word...) away. The girl woke up slowly. "Who are you?" She asked. "Shannon Lancaster, FBI." The woman answered and opened girl's handguffs. "Tell me, are you friend with Tsukiko?" "Yes..." "Mind you to tell me your name?" "Seren." "Doesn't sound like a her own name... Maybe I should ask about her from Tsukiko." Shannon thought. "Follow me. I need to get you out from here." "How?" "That is a piece of cake. There is a side door in the end of this corridoor. And I have the key~." "Oh, I see... And after that?" "I'll call to Tsukiko and tell her I found you. Even though I thought you already were with her..." "I..." "No time for explanations, let's go." ------ Outside of the building, at Shannon's van "C'mon...answer now..." Shannon mumbled to her phone while she was closing the door of her van. She(IU was sitting next to her) drove through the city and parked near the park Tsukiko had been shot. Finally someone answered. "Hello? Who is there?" But the voice that answered wasn't Tsukiko's. "Excuse me, who is there?" "I'm Lia. And you?" "This is Shannon. May I talk with Tsukiko?" "That is impossible. She is in coma now..." "Okay, are you in hospital now?" "Yes, at CCCC hospital." "Okay, we are on a way there." "Wait! We-?" Shamnon hung up and put her phone to the pocket of her jeans. "Don't bite your tongue. This will be like a rollercoaster." IdentityUnknown was quiet on the way back. She didn't completely trust this Shannon Lancaster. She was deep in thought about something else she had realized and been considering while she slept. If they could do that one thing...there might be hope, however slim and however small, there was still that inkling of hope, provided they got that one thing... Before she knew it, she had fallen asleep again. The ride was bumpy, but IdentityUnknown was used to rough rides (I've ridden in the desert and once slept through my friends' annoying and very loud chatter, I know I could handle it) and managed to get some rest. She almost laughed when she remembered a story she had once read about soldiers sleeping whenever they could to conserve energy -- somehow she had done something similar. When she woke, they were parked in front of a hotel. "Good," Shannon said, relieved. "You're awake. Lia, Tsukiko, and KKLT are inside. The others were...captured." Damn it, IdentityUnknown thought. No. Please no. Not now. She stiffened her shoulders and rubbed her wrists. "I can't go in," she said firmly. Shannon looked at her, half in shock half in curiosity. "Why not? It's safe, the safest place we have right now." IdentityUnknown shook her head. "I can't. I have somewhere to go." Shannon stared at her. "I'm sorry, I can't let you go, Seren," she said firmly after a while. "I don't know if you were mixed in before or if you were randomly kidnapped, but you are now in the middle of this and it's my job to protect you." "Then I'm sorry." Before Shannon had time to react, IdentityUnknown pressed a button on her watch. A fine mist sprayed out and IdentityUnknown covered her nose and mouth whilst getting out of the van. "What the--" Shannon said before closing her eyes. IdentityUnknown took out a sheet of paper and scribbled something to KKLT on it. She signed it, dated it, and sealed it in an envelope with KKLT written on the top. She placed it in Shannon's lap and went off. ------ Yes! Now I'm not captured...and free to move around. Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief 197 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 KKLT felt a cold sensation running down from her forehead accompanied by a short sharp sting. "Ou-!" KKLT jumped up from the pain startling the person beside her. Light flooded into her eyes and is giving her a slight headache. "Legend..." KKLT faintly heard someone calling her name. The white spots gradually faded from her eyes and images started to become clearer. She saw someone infront of her... "Lia...?" "Yes its me. Are you okay?" "Erm... I think so. What happened? Why am I here?" KKLT surveyed the surroundings. She was lying on a hospital bed. She was in Tsukiko's ward. Lia sighed. "You're here because you stressed yourself too much and fainted on the hospital floors with a bleeding head." Lia pointed to the part where the bullet grazed her forehead near her right eye. KKLT realised that it had been bandaged already. "Have I been out long?" KKLT asked. "No. You woke up as soon as they wrapped you up." Lia replied. "I see. How about Tsukiko? Has she waken up yet?" Lia points to Tsukiko's bed. KKLT turned to look at the girl sitting on her bed waving. "Tsukiko! You woke up!" "Ye-yea... A little after you were brought in..." Tsukiko replied with some difficulty. KKLT got off her bed unsteadily and walked over to Tsukiko's bed. "Are you alright?" She nodded. It was still difficult for her to talk without feeling the pain. She glanced at the exhausted Lia who have been busy tending to both of them and at KKLT who got injured because of the ordeal. "Tha-thanks Legend, Lia." Tsukiko managed the words with some difficulty, and was replied with smiles from KKLT and Lia. "Don't worry about it." both girls answered in unison. "You should rest now." KKLT told her. "It is unlikely that the syndicate will send another killer here after the first attempt had failed." "Yea. So it is pretty safe here now." Lia continued. "Eh? How did you know..?" Tsukiko was confused as to how they knew what had happened. "We sort of get the situation a little." KKLT explained. "But we'll explain it to you after you get better a little. But we'll have to move from here as soon as you can walk." "Yes I know." Tsukiko replied. "I'm sorry..." "No need to apologise. Nobody knows that this would happen." Lia told her. "Yes. Now you rest. We need you to get better quick." KKLT told her. "And Lia. We need to talk." KKLT guided Lia out of the room. "Have the others called yet?" "No." "Not yet? This is strange." KKLT took out her phone and checked for their locations and found that the three trackers on the girls were gone. "Bad news Lia... another bad news..." "This is bad..." Lia whispered back. "What shall we do now?" "How did that even happen?" thought KKLT in frustration. "I shouldn't have let them go alone..." "It's already happened. We have to get them out now." Lia told KKLT. "This means that Pyre probably is caught too. It may have been a trap from the beginning." "Yea. I have to go help them... Lia you stay and take care of Tsukiko. I will head over first." "Wait... What?! You just fainted! What the he-" "I have to go now. There's no time." "Right. Then I'll have to go with you-" "No Lia, you'll have to stay here with-" KKLT was cut off by approaching footsteps. KKLT and Lia both kept silent and waited. A figure appeared from the corridor. It was a woman. KKLT and Lia both glanced at the woman who walked down to them as if nothing happened. "Could she be an enemy?" KKLT thought as she glared at the woman. The woman stopped infront of Tsukiko's ward. "Could this be... Tsukiko's ward?" the woman asked KKLT. "Who Are You?" KKLT asked forcefully to the woman. "Relax. I'm not your enemy." the woman replied as she turned to look at KKLT. "I'm Shannon." --------------- Okay we finally met.
