I thought u were gonna stay there when we do our "plan"....

Yes. Our plan has been successfully carried out already...

The plan was to mislead you to think we wanted to save Misaki and the rest of the people, when we are actually going to save BK. So basically I and Tsukiko are the bait, and we are to create a commotion and lead everyone to the basement where the rest are kept so Pyre and Lia and go upstairs to save BK. Then we are to surrender ourselves without conflict. Then they will definitely ask us where the rest are so I will get to request to speak with Misaki but in the end Misaki happened to see me so no problem here. Im supposed to make her want to find out about her identity... And that's all. Then Pyre will track me using the tracker and get us out of the place. Then that's all. So basically, the plan is up til here.

Well, I guess so far your plan is working. So far....

Okay...

Nyx sat nimbly on the bed, hugging her legs as she simply stared forward, unspeaking just like the others. Chaos had taken the failure harshly, yelling at everyone until his voice went hoarse and even Krev begged him to stop. Nero was lying down solemnly in the corner, tracing around his failed plans, Brise stared out the window, Krev by her side, and Jun was on her bed, just looking up at the ceiling. Nobody knew what had aggravated Chaos so much, nobody had heard those words Aria whispered so quietly, so threateningly into Chaos's ear in the confusion.

"Fail one more time, and we are going to kill all of you.... No exceptions. We can always find replacements."

Those words from that girl, that strangely familiar girl rang in Nyx's ears, her desperate plea, the surprise, the horror. "Aeyra! Chelsea!" Aeyra... The word was like an annoying tune stuck in her head, like somebody was ceaselessly murmuring it into her ears, taunting her with it, filling her with curiosity, and leaving the answer dangling right out of her reach. Aeyra... It felt like it was calling her, a name far more fitting than Nyx, a name that threatened to tear her apart with the need to know, to understand. Why couldn't she remember?

"Is something wrong, Nyx?" asked Brise quietly, breaking the tense silence, looking away from the brewing storm outside. Nyx had been clutching her head as if in pain, and she herself hadn't noticed. "You look... off."

"It was something those people said," admitted Nyx, closing her eyes, happy to let out the unspoken desire. "One if them called me 'Aeyra', and I can't describe how it feels, but it feels... like it's right. I can't remember anything, but it's right at the edge of what I can. Do you know anything about it?"

Nero nudged Brise, giving her a warning stare as it seemed the girl was about to give in. Brise shook her head slowly, deliberately as she faced Nyx. "No, sorry Nyx, but I don't know anything about that name," she lied, pushing a stray strand of brown hair behind her ear. "I'm really sorry."

"Do you know 'Chelsea'?" asked Jun, peeling her eyes from the ceiling. "That's what the girl called me."

"It's a reasonably common name," answered Nero in a flat tone, even coffee unable to revive the energy robbed away by Chaos's violent outburst. "She probably mistook you for somebody she knew, or was trying to distract you two. Don't mind it- just worry about catching them. That's the important part here, okay?" Despite his innocent, carefree exterior, Nero was actually quite observant, intelligent, and able to piece things together in an instant. He already worked out the danger of failure, and even some of the reasoning behind Chaos's screaming. He wanted to explain, but he knew that it was Chaos's choice as leader. "It's our mission, and we have to carry it out no matter what."

"That's right," said Krev, looking towards him. "That's what's important right now- not what some silly girl called you, okay Nyx? Jun?"

The two girls nodded, though hesitantly. The curiosity still lingered...

*****

How was it? Horrible? Good? ... ... Immensely cheesy? *sigh* I don't write well when I'm fit to collapse... BTW, all I need to do for Nero is detail his shirt, make a background, and do done finishing touches. ^^
