Sayomi 17 Report post Posted July 6, 2011 Aha... a way to find out is to think of a note, sing it, then play it on an instrument (preferably a piano). That's one part of perfect pitch. The other part is being able to identify notes by ear. Assuming there's a piano or keyboard available, randomly pick a note WITHOUT LOOKING, then identify it. If you identified it correctly, you have perfect pitch. (Well... that's the way that my teacher tested me for it when she thought I had it xP) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If its guessing, I can guess it right 90% of the time... But no. I do not have perfect pitch =/ As of now... Usually I guess by referring. Like I sing the lowest note I can go and I know that is F. So I can find the rest of the notes from there. Haha... So yea... Im not perfect pitch but I can guess the notes right at least 90% of the time...
