75aichan 49 Report post Posted November 12, 2011 I think Sera has the same level as Kudo,in term of deduction abilities. And I agree with Kyuu,Ran and Shinichi's idealism isn't always a good thing, sometimes you need to kill someone in order to save people. So I prefer Sera way of thinking, she's more realistic. than Shinichi. IdentityUnknown 216 Report post Posted November 12, 2011 I'd LOVE if there was a high-school detective who beat Shinichi, kicked his ass, and cut down his ego. ...But it's highly doubtful to ever happen.

Balthazar Manfredie 226 Report post Posted November 12, 2011 Sera i great but Shinichi is awesome in his own way
yungching 24 Report post Posted November 12, 2011 OF COURSE NOT! <33333  NO WAY!! Shinichi-Kun is the BEST (only in deduction) But Jeet-kun-do.... um..... no denying, but.... SERA!! But still, I think Shinichi is better in other ways Shinichi forever! LOL xD The needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few. The idealism that Shinichi and Ran have can easily backfire and end far more lives than they possibly could have saved by allowing the one dangerous criminal to be killed on the spot. Idealism doesn't work in the real world, it never has. Idealism tends to get people killed. That isn't to say that one should be heartless, but if the situation calls for a swift resolution that could potentially kill more than you would save by preventing the police doing their jobs and stopping the criminal by any means necessary, you are doing something wrong. For instance... Shinichi deducing, the person has ALREADY KILLED, which means if they snap they could easily attack and kill another. Even Sherlock knew that at times killing was necessary, and sorry, but relying on Karate or a soccer ball is not enough. Ran can lose, especially if it is someone desperate and strong. And Shinichi can easily miss that ONE shot he has with his soccer ball. Idealism is great, but not when its blind. You don't mess with a desperate person, and you cannot deduce what they might do no matter how smart you are. I hate to admit it, but it's true... D: I'd have given you a rep, but I'm out of reps for today Anyway, Shinichi will always be the best!!! but I haven't seen Sera yet, so I wouldn't be able to tell really The only thing I don't like about Shinichi is that he is arrogant
Black Demon 466 Report post Posted November 16, 2011 Somehow I don't think that Sera is very much interested in deduction, even when she has got the potential herself. Being a detective/martial artist may not be her main role.
Miike 3 Report post Posted November 16, 2011 I'd LOVE if there was a high-school detective who beat Shinichi, kicked his ass, and cut down his ego. ...But it's highly doubtful to ever happen. If that gonna happen, Shinichi wanted the person badly to do it is Hattori in person. But Shinichi is better than Sera. She seriously don't give murder a thought to solve but put her heart to bait Shinichi out. I wanted to see her attentive side once in while and watch her how she solve murder successfully; but I doubt it happen whenever Shinichi is around.
Hattori Joon 1 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 Of course not. It's not even Sera who's the main character you know...
