Akazora 293 Report post Posted January 11, 2015 My aunt and uncle also tried to convert me but apparently, I was too stubborn so they gave up, haha. I don't think I would have been cross-dominant if it weren't for tennis. None of my coaches realized that I was left-handed so I've been taught to play with my right hand for practically my entire life (geezus, I envy left handed tennis players so much). As a result, my right arm is stronger than my left arm which I guess is why I tend to prefer my right arm/hand over my left when I'm doing stuff other than eating and writing. Not very convenient. I see.  When I was little, I was apparently a very obedient and sweet kid.  I probably tried my darndest best to use my right hand when my parents forced me to.  Even though you say your cross-dominance isn't convenient, I think it's really unique.  I haven't ever met anyone with that before, so it's really special, haha. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It's either most people don't realize they're cross-dominant or they never bother to admit it. I didn't even know I was cross-dominant until a friend of mine pointed it out.
