Akazora 293 Report post Posted September 3, 2011 As the title obviously states, Mai Kuraki will be releasing a new single on the 31st of October titled Your Best Friend and it will be the 40th ending of Detective Conan. It's nice to see Mai is actually making some new singles. She's had a long DC dry spell, though she has been busy with her two most recent singles: もう一度 and 1000万回のキス. I wonder if she purposely planned to release this new single on Halloween, though I obviously doubt it. And title itself is corny to say the least. But I have faith in her, and I'm sure this will be a good song. EDIT: The ending as already been uploaded to YouTube! Akazora 293 Report post Posted September 3, 2011 The ending has been released already! Pilgrim's run as the ending was an extremely short one, and now this new chibi ShinRan ending has replaced it. I've added it to the first post of this topic for easy viewing. My thoughts: It's a pretty simple ShinRan ending, not too much symbolism involved in this one. The song isn't too bad, and I enjoy listening to it. I give this ending a 3.5/5 due to it's lack of originality. But please share your thoughts on this new ending! Enjoy!
