This chapter basically reinforces everything Chekhov MacGuffin and I predicted about the secret behind the vehicular vandalism mystery, who the culprit may be, and their motive.

All the vandalized cars have crud in the back window which obscures the view. Chiba's car had all the model boxes which his friend set up, the golfer has his golf supplies in the backseat, the mod car had the spoiler, and the "Itai" car had the anime chick painting. It's like a targeted Sonoko high-heel redux. For the cars that weren't targeted, Chiba's didn't have the boxes set up until later and the other "Itai" car only had the painting on the roof. Next week, we will see if the next vandalized car also had stuff in the back window and if Meiwa's car was vandalized.

The lady was really picky about the kids being behind cars which makes her really suspect, the other guy was lax-but you never know, Meiwa had a mod car with crud on the back windows so it wasn't him.

I happened to notice the obstructions in the back of all of the vandalized cars as well. I also assumed that the lady was suspicious because of what she told the kids. (if she is the culprit, Conan would probably reference her claim in his deduction) I was also thinking that the motive may be revenge; maybe one the culprit's loved ones was killed by a person driving a car that was backing up but couldn't see the rearview due to some sort of obstruction. As a result, the culprit lashes out his/her grief upon all cars that reminisce the car from the accident. I'm pretty confident that both of our theories are correct for the most part.

Just read Chapter 791, and AJ M. and Chekhov seem to right about this one. It's funny how Chiba and Naeko have such close calls, but nothing really that major happens. I'm hoping for something big to occur the next chapter, but we'll have to wait a while for that.

The Shigei Tokuko's car has what looks to be the shadow where a child seat was, which is probably the child from the car accident. The car accident was caused by a high school teacher and they settled out of court. Meiwa Takurou has parents who are high school teachers and one of them may have been the culprit or know the culprit.

I think that there are two criminals here. Shigei Tokuko is the main culprit, and she has been targeting cars with obstructed rear windows. The high school teacher backed into her child because the teacher could not see the short child through an obstructed rear view window. Her modus operandi is to spray paint on the roof of the vehicle rather than the windows so the driver of the vandalized car can still drive safely.

The most recent case in the underground garage was done by Meiwa Takurou. He is holding a grudge against Shigei Tokuko because the large out of court settlement devastated the high school teacher financially. It could be one of his parents or his parents' friends. Meiwa figured out Shigei is the one vandalizing cars because of her choice of targets (maybe he knew the other spoiler car driver and thus about the word "die"). Meiwa has decided to get back at Shigei by breaking into her car, using the spray paint she has in there on reserve, and vandalizing it. I don't know if he purposefully collided with Fukuchi or Fukuchi accidentally backed into Meiwa who was planning on doing something else with the car (like hitting a wall). Maybe Meiwa targeted the person with the stuffed animals in the back row because he thought it would be more like something Shigei would do. Meiwa missed the significance of writing on the roof, so he wrote on the windshield instead.

i don't know who the vandle is but i know why. it's because the stuffed animals,toy boxes, the spoiler on thesports car, and the golf clubs blocked the reat glass. it's dangerous acctually when you're backing up a car and can't see behind you. easy way to kill somebody by accident
