RAN IS NOTHING COMPARED TO HER. Akako is a witch. She's beautiful, she's secretive, and she's interesting. She's the only character in the series to have supernatural powers and an unnatural hair color. She's INCREDIBLE. She has a unique laugh that everyone loves. Are you suggesting that Ran's abilities are in anyway realistic? I beg to differ...I have never once seen a person with Ran's build and training do half the stuff she does. Collapse a table? Crack concrete walls? Granted she is more realistic than Akako, but Gosho has embellished her abilities a bit too far. Her abilities within Karate are super human, though not as much as Makoto's... (Fact: it is impossible to dodge a bullet, period. I blame hollywood for these horrible misconceptions...) In fact... Suggesting that anything about most of the main cast of DC is realistic is ludicrous (I'll not get into MK, since we all know that it is largely supernatural). We have a main character who was shrunken by APTX, explained through the use of BS that the common lay person would not understand. We have an inventor whose inventions should have made him rich by now... A karate black belt whose skill is that of a male world champion (as opposed to a regional female champion). A bumbling detective who seems to have a strangely low resistance (and seems incapable of building a resistance) to sedatives, and who has not yet succumb to alcohol poisoning. The most realistic people are the police. By the by... I choose Akako just because she is just awesome... I have no other reason... Though... I also happen to find Ran annoying...
