Kenzi 146 Report post Posted December 2, 2014 Yeah, title misleading. It's a media psychology really. Make a title that will make person curious, even if it's misleading. Well, the point of the article is to make people aware that the rumors are fake. Who knows? There might be a guest visiting here thinking that it's real and he accidentally clicked my link. The title should have said something about debunking the rumor because the current title and article completely contradict itself. People can be really gullible these days. This is about as real as the supposed zombie apocalypse that was going to happen a few years ago.

People can be really gullible these days. This is about as real as the supposed zombie apocalypse that was going to happen a few years ago. As I said, it's to make it sell. It's media advertisement. Meh, Humans are easy to fool as long as they have a happy life. (People with trust issues will be hard to persuade)

Kirsch 95 Report post Posted December 4, 2014 In Tech. Ed., we're launching model rockets and learning how to calculate their height using an Altitrack backed with math formulas. It's cool to see them fly like that, but we're always late to lunch T-T ... Yeah, I'll make a great scientist someday :V

Kirsch 95 Report post Posted December 4, 2014 Great Scientist with no lunch Anyway, Altitrack? It's this plastic gun-shaped thingy that lets you measure the angle of something. I think "Altitrack" is the name of the company though...

Kirsch 95 Report post Posted December 6, 2014 How do you use it? Pressing the trigger releases the pendulum/protractor. You aim it at the object you're trying to find the height of, and release the trigger for the pendulum to stop swaying and fix on an angle.

Akazora 293 Report post Posted December 7, 2014 Anyway, Heard that NASA launched a spacecraft yesterday. Heard the same thing on BBC. \o/ Too lazy to google, so what was it for? Too lazy to remember. Correction, I actually remembered: I just wasn't paying enough attention to know what was going on. Wasn't a big deal, I think. Just an unmanned test flight for future orbits around the moon and eventually Mars. Don't quote me on this, unless you trust a teenage boy to actually correctly recall his dinner news on the spot. Still going to quote you anyway :VAnyway, is it Orion that you're talking about? It's the only NASA spacecraft in the news and they mentioned how it aims to one day out a man in Mars, but it seems it was just recovered, as opposed to being launched. It was launched then recovered. It was a test flight to check if the components are working as it should be (especially the heat shield).
