Lia. 45 Report post Posted October 20, 2011 Granted I haven't had Malaysian, Singaporean or Viet in long while... Nor REAL Chinese for that matter (The crap they have at most American Chinese restaurants is NOT Chinese.) How true. :V Those restaurants give out strawberry jam with 'Sweet and Sour Pork'. D: Chinatown would be an exception. An example would be San Francisco's. I suppose you have had Indian then ? Will agree to the fact that most of the Pure and Real chinese food has been transformed Well, not really. :V If you have real Chinese food in China/its SARs/Taiwan, it's guaranteed to be rather good, not transformed. And parkur, yes, american chinese isn't really chinese at all. I'm fortunate enough to live in a place where I have the opportunity to have real chinese food. A lot of my chinese friends refuse to eat at those restaurants. True. Again, 'Chinatown'.

Ofcourse, Chinese food in China would be original..but the chinese food they serve in our country and in America ofc, is mutated..and combined with the local dishes...Is what i meant to say. Well, i dont eat non-veg..so kinda cannot eat most of the south-east asian food
