Aeyra 260 Report post Posted July 30, 2011 You missed the entire point... Gosho controls manga, manga controls anime (mostly), but OVAs are written basically for fanservice. So the possibility of creating an OVA or Special episode of the anime that is an AO to create a ShinShi or AiCon ending is still quite high if the Anime team WANTS it to happen. Gosho will have his official ending and the Anime team will have their unofficial ending. I have always known that Shinichi and Ran will end up together (I feel like I'm repeating myself too much now), because Gosho has made that painfully clear. And quite frankly his love of childhood couples is REALLY annoying. That is probably why my favorite couple in the series are NOT childhood friends, which are Sato and Takagi. Grand. Now if only you would go back two pages and read my stance, you'll see why I prefer Shiho/Ai over Ran. Truth be told, I really don't like Ran as a character nor Shinichi. They are too two dimensional. They have barely developed at all over the course of 785 files. Shinichi started to and then reverted right back in London. Which is REALLY frustrating. Gosho needs to spend more time developing his characters, because I'm starting to get really bored of the main cast of DC. Yeah... Shinichi just keeps on getting more depressed and suddenly getting happy (though that is quite funny) and Ran... well, she's Ran, 'nuff said. I don't think anyone has really developed that much, except Ai, getting over her sister's death, the BO, and kind of settling down. But DC's a fun read, I mean, why else would we bother to read that much manga? I'm getting bored with the main cast too. That's why Heiji is my favorite. He may not develop, but heck, he doesn't need to, he's an awesome side character. But I still go for ShinRan. Our two depressed protagonists can go together. Man I hate Jodie x Akai, I don't even know why, I just think they'd be awful together Hmmm... I don't even have pairings for either of them.. But if I had to say one, I'd probably go for AkaiXAkemi. Oi, I never said that childhood love stories is inherently boring, I said HIS love of childhood love stories is boring. AkaixJodie (which didn't get much time) and SatouxTakagi and SonokoxMakoto are the only ones. Gosho is giving all of the story time to childhood friends. I swear... RanxShin and KazuhaxHeiji get all the attention. SatouxTakagi have disappeared JodiexAkai have disappeared, SonokoxMakoto have disappeared. I wouldn't mind it as much if Gosho would stop giving all of the attention to childhood friends. And the two newest love stories are both childhood friends. Hmmm... I don't even have pairings for either of them.. But if I had to say one, I'd probably go for AkaiXAkemi. They had such a tragic ending. I kinda agree with that one. But then again we know far more about AkaixAkemi than we do about AkaixJodie. Well, I guess it's more appealing in some ways... It gives off that perfect aura that people who just want a quickie read like. I usually prefer the couples who've known each other longer (not necessarily childhood friends- I mean, Katniss and Gale don't count as that, right? HG) Don't even talk about HeiWa. Don't like it. Period. I like the ShinRan, but I think we wouldn't need so much time on it if real ShinRan happened more often. That way we could go onto other couples every once in a while. detectiveRJB 15 Report post Posted August 1, 2011 Well i think that yes, we've got our wish granted *w* Shinichi loves Ran and Ran loves Shinichi ^^ There is one thing i want to say, liking Haibara will never be a good reason for liking CoAi (at least for me). And about the moments, yes i think they're cute but ALMOST all of them doesn't show love between them. And o think the love triangle at first was Ayumi-Conan-Ran but they realised that Conan and Ayumi coudn't work so Aoyama made Haibara as A new rival of Ran(i mean haibara's mission is to make an antidote for Shinichi so for making that she doesn't need to be a girl or be Ran's rival xd ) And i don't think CoAi is impossible, it's true that after the London Arc it became more impossible but here is still hope for the CoAi fanpeople and it is as good as ShinRan PD: i wrote this on my ipad so it wil be full of mistakes gomen x.xU Ai love him.I believe is Ai will win to end.Gosho play around us mind. It was quite fun in fact We both enjoyed ourselves and gave it our all. ^^ 'course, I don't think we converted anybody, but it was a good, lengthy debate either way! I just ran out of fuel, is all!
