Akazora 293 Report post Posted June 29, 2012 It's a bit early to start this because the games haven't been release yet, but pictures, news, spoilers, and an American release date have all been floating around online. It comes out October 7th in America (and five days later, for those in Europe). I'm planning on getting it for Christmas, and only earlier if there is an event that seems worthwhile. I don't want to play right away because there's a difficulty setting (for the first time ever) and it's unlockable by beating the Elite Four. However, you can get the setting if one of your friends who had already beaten the Elite Four transfers it over to you via Unova Link's Key Link. That's probably what I'm going to do because I really want to give the "Challenge Mode" a try. So, what do you guys think about all this? Do you think this two game direct sequel was a better idea than the highly predictable "Pokemon Gr(a/e)y" that fans expected? Are you going to get one of the games when it comes out? Or are you hunkering down for the wait for a possible Ruby and Sapphire remake?
tengaku squared 291 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 So, what do you guys think about all this? Do you think this two game direct sequel was a better idea than the highly predictable "Pokemon Gr(a/e)y" that fans expected? Are you going to get one of the games when it comes out? This was one of the best ideas they've decided on. It's always good to reinvent yourself, to avoid falling in the grooves. And likely that I will. Or are you hunkering down for the wait for a possible Ruby and Sapphire remake? I personally think there was a lot more they could've done with Ruby and Sapphire.
