An Unsolved Cold Case

[Maltavite 61]

The FBI, even Conan stumped by this dark and cold case. It's up to DCW's detectives to solve the the cold-linked case. If you have a deduction for the case, please post it in spoilers. The name of the killer, break of the alibi(s) and motives and evidence are needed. If you have a question or need a hint, ask. It's almost midnight and this one was long, so I probably forgot a detail or left out something.

Part 1

On March 3, Haruko Ryukoma, a 28 year old rich man was found dead in his limo just outside of Haido Central Hospital. He was Caucasian, and had black hair and blue eyes. Evidence showed that he had been killed in his Limousine between 10:00 and 10:30 pm the night before. There was no sign of damage at his car. Except the interior who had been stained by blood. The driver was missing. The cause of death was a headshot with an automatic pistol. A deserted weapon has been found, a Glock 18, blood spattered, had been disposed of in a nearby trash can. The Glock was empty, and no suppressor was attached on the pistol. His wallet and identification were found on his person. In the garbage, police discovered a torn piece of paper. When mended, it read, "Alright, time to take Barbino Family. After you cap him at Bein B, dispose the bodies at Fhoto Yard. Meet eight ‘DV’ thugs and ‘Rody’ at the lab, and frame Hondou Family with that. After that, Ederon have sent us several ‘canisters’ to clean them out. They are stored near the intermodal gantry at the sealine. Out" The public has not yet been informed of the note's existence.

10 people have been linked with the victim as suspects.

Charles Barbino: The targets of an assassination planned by his rival gang named ‘DV’.

Kliment Fedorov: A 29 year old Russian who traveling to Beika one week ago from Novgorod, Russia.

‘Ederon’: Someone who called by Haruko one hour before his death. Supposed to have several connections with ‘HB’ and ‘DV’

Eisuke Hondou: Before Haruko was murdered, he have meeting Eisuke for ask him about Hidemi and someone named ‘FragFrog’ at 9:43 PM.

Pablo Menendez: A 36 year old DJ. He was the last person who saw the victim alive at the Brescian Bar, three hours before his death

Collin Price: The bartender who works at Brescian. He didn’t know about Haruko but he know a lot of Marcus Family

Allen Marcus: A 31 year old rapper and Haruko’s close friends.

Kenny Marcus: Allen’s cousin.

Hay Barbino: Charles’s brother and the Caporegime of Barbino Family.

Roonie Corhescu: A 33 year old who own the Brescian in Beika. He has connection with ‘Ederon’.

Tha Motives:

Charles Barbino: He was warned by Haruko two hours before for a deal which ‘turned to sour’.

Kliment Fedorov: He hated Haruko because he selling ‘gas canisters’ without his permission. He also claimed if entire family was killed by Haruko.

Ederon: He knows about ‘DV’ and someone named Rody. But, Ederon scared if CIA was hunting him and Haruko.

Eisuke: Haruko was asked him and Hidemi to know someone who supplying ‘chemical’ weapons. Haruko even give warn to them because if they was exposure by the gas, they will die before hit the floor.

Pablo Menendez: Haruko borrow his car to delivering goods but he didn’t return it three weeks ago. Before Haruko’s death, Pablo found his car near a train yard, resprayed and full with several briefcases. As he opens it, the briefcase contains Heroin.

Collin Price: One of the gang member who dealing with DV which turned to a sting by FBI. Haruko was trying to frame him to claim the shipment.

Allen Marcus: Haruko was stole his rhyme book three months ago but he didn’t make it as rapper. Allen feels this was setup.

Kenny Marcus: He hated Haruko more than Kliment. Kenny claims Haruko was brutally execute his sister with a pistol because she was rejected him

Hay Barbino: He knows about the assassination who planned by DV to kill his father. But he didn’t know Haruko or something which involved with Mafia

Roonie Corhescu: Ederon calling him after Haruko was leaving the bar. He warned Roonie to not go with Haruko as something bad will hit him.

The Alibis: Not a single suspect had an alibi. But Haruko was killed around 10:20 and 11:00 pm

Part 2

ALMOST ONE MONTH LATER:

The case has gone dark, and the suspects have continued on with their lives.

Allen and Kenny began to work together in rap game, thinking that can forgetting the cold case

Roonie and Collins were working at the bar after the case.

Eisuke now under FBI protection after Haruko give information to him and Hidemi about a District Varna, the mobster who controls the harbor. He also gave them a warning about chemical weapon.

The Barbino, after the case was hide on their house, worried about another assassination plan.

Pablo refused the money from his car’s insurance policy, he sent the money to his brother. He had new car.

Kliment still live in his house. He have a plan to return to Russia next month

Ederon was shocked about the attack. He stated to media if the attack was mafia related.

The suspect attend Haruko’s funeral….

On April 6 in the morning, FBI received a call from a distressed guy who claimed to have discovered four corpses in a car near Shinichi’s house. The victim was identified as Charles, Hay Barbino and two of his henchmen. They been gunned down by rival gang at midnight, this can proved as the car was heavily damaged. The murder weapon was not found but they are armed with silenced AK-74SU and silenced Uzi as the police found several 5.45 mm x 39 mm rounds and cartridges around the crime scene, 9mm parabellum rounds and no one hear the shootout, making this as high profile assassination. No one knows about the suspect. But, a note was found near the trashed car. It said, “We’re claimed your life after you killing his family, m****! District Varna, stupid! You making a big mistake, amigo”

Alibis:

Allen and Kenny was at a party in the midnight, thirty minutes before the shootout.

Kliment was returned from his work at 11:34 PM. He meet Kenny and Allen after the party, 18 minutes before the shootout. He confirmed Allen and Kenny’s alibi.

Pablo was in his house, half hour before the shootout. He stated, to reach Kudo’s house, he need almost 32 minutes from his house

Roonie and Collins was in the Brescian bar, the bar was near the crime scene, which need 16 minutes to reach the place

Ederon was drinking at Brescian bar, 25 minutes before the shootout.

Part 3

The next day, Eisuke was found bledding outside the Kudo’s house where the Barbinos was assassinated. He had been shot on the leg, losing too much blood and was immediately sent to Haido Central Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. It appeared the attacker who trying to kill him was armed with pistol, but because he didn’t suppress the pistol, he is fleeing as Eisuke had dragged himself out of the station to try and get help. Gripped in his left hand was a typed note that read, “I won’t give second change to him, Hidemi. Charles, Hay, Haruko and Eisuke. These ‘people’ must die!” This was written in his blood on the folded page: Les Lyonnais.
