THIS THREAD is used to discuss about SPOILERS. In other words, if you only read the English version and wish to wait for the official release instead of getting spoiled, this is NOT the right place for you!

RULES OF THE SPOILER-ONLY DISCUSSION THREAD:

1. Any kind of spoiler involving the case (pictures, texts, information, full scans...) of any language that is released before the actual English version must be posted HERE. The English translations of the spoilers must also be posted here. 3. Despite being a Spoiler-only thread, EVERY spoiler and discussion involving events that has not yet happened in the English releases STILL has to be put inside Spoiler boxes. When the mentioned file is officially released in English, this is not necessary anymore.

4. NO DIRECT LINK to Original Japanese scans (RAWs) or to ANY English manga scan because we don't want to have any problem with lawyers. (Japanese spoiler pictures are allowed as long as the amount and quality of which are very very far away from a full scan, like the ones we usually have).

1. Why is this whole thing necessary?

2. Why do I still have to use Spoiler boxes here?
A: In case some member (who only follows the English files) get confused, misclick, or just simply get in the wrong thread... etc., this rule is made NOT to let spoilers get revealed to them. And since this is quite complicated, confusions are unavoidable, especially for new members.

3. How do I use Spoiler boxes anyway?
A: Just simply type the following:

[spoiler]Text you want to write [/spoiler]

Or more manually:
Step 1: Click the "Special BBCode" icon at the upper-left side of the edit toolbar.

 
Step 2: In BBCode, select "Spoiler".

 
Step 3: Enter the text that you want to put inside Spoiler boxes, then click OK.


4. If the spoiler is not obvious enough to viewers (e.g. one must click a link in order to see it), do I have to use Spoiler boxes?
A: No, using link addresses is also a hiding method. Again the purpose of this is just to protect the spoilers and info. from being viewed by members who do not want to see them (but get in here by accident). However, you should STATE CLEARLY that it's a spoiler, just to make sure.

5. Can I join the discussion in the other thread as well?
A: Of course you can. HOWEVER, as mentioned in the rules above, you MUST NOT reveal, give hints or talk about ANYTHING that spoils.

6. Who are you anyway? Why do we have to follow YOUR rules?
A: Not mine. Chek suggested that it should be this way. Also, the person who create the threads must write the rules clearly on the very first post from now on, whether they want it or not; this applies to every member (not only me).

ANYWAY, everyone should read this whole post carefully before posting or viewing anything. If you are mistaken for not paying attention to it, the creator of the thread, the moderators and every other forum members will NOT take any responsibility.

When the first panels appeared I hastily thought that Yumi's ex aka "Thy guy who is in shadows at first" could be one of the (or the) new BO member(s) Gosho mentioned previously.

I mean, he was mentioned by her as soon as in one of the volumes around the 40s and on top of that, in the midst of the time the FBI was more actively hunting the org.

Also, his mysterious depiction in the flashbacks in which he kinda looks like a dark-haired Okiya counterpart and the fact, that this time both of them DON'T seem to be childhood friends, could have been proof for this.

 

But... my theory was kinda destroyed the minute the complete spoilers were published, because Ai is present and she doesn't seem to be shocked by his presence at all (last panel, for example).

So, he really just seems to be a love interest for Yumi and nothing more... for now.

I've actually always been a bit of a Yumi fan, so it's great we finally get her romantically involved with someone, especially since Chiba managed to beat her to it.  If she and this guy get together, it may be good news for some more Chi x Mii development in later chapters.  This also means: everyone finding love = end of Detective Conan.  I guess this constitutes as plot, so I'm happy.

They don't look sour when met together. I'm getting the feeling he being ditched by Yumi over incident and he look like he any time want to make up for it. I still don't buy they are ex, if they are, likely over trivia thing/stuff they can't get over with

Cocoa Moth’s post made me think that at this point introducing new BO characters would be pointless, because we’d know thanks to Haibara. but we know that 2 more are coming (I think?), so wouldn’t it make sense for them to have some reason not to trigger Haibara’s “aura-sensing” thing? otherwise it’d be too easy to know… with Shuuichi we were fooled thanks to the fact that he was former BO, but I don’t think something like that is likely to happen again?

One thing I know if he keep smiling and appear in normal manga I think he's hot guy. Too bad Yumi ditch him, but I thinking Gosho planning up to sleeve. *having devil's horns*

Ooooh cool a Yumi-centric story. I was hoping she and Amuro would get together but as long as she has someone then I'm happy. I'm guessing he's someone shady but Ai didn't display her usual B.O. reaction towards him so I'm not sure... he might be a brand new member or something.

Wow, I sound way different... (sorry for the spam) I don't hate Yumi, but looking at this manga with different perception I can see inner heart concerns. 

 

For one thing I know he's not that simple or else he won't fell for Conan's size, it seems he has sharp eye like the maid from a case. So I see from adult plot it'll more interesting he knows Yumi and return with smile then suspicious of Conan, he's much more complicated so I wonder is he being true to Yumi or Yumi has right to ditch him for reason we don't know, I conclude he's being difficult and fickle like me, one thing I'm sure of: he's dead smart.

At first I also thought that he may be a B.O member but based on the recent Aoyama interview, there will be no new B.O. member after Bourbon.
