He travels the wasteland destroying bad guys and helping the weak. Why? Because he is awesome. -Shiho Miyano (Detective Conan) Sarcastic, intelligent, a scientist. Yeah... I like her because she is pretty much me only infinitely smarter -Firo Prochainezo (Baccano) I have no idea why I like him... I just do... -Jacuzzi Splot (Baccano) He is actually an interesting character. He is a smuggler, a coward, and a really nice guy even to those that are trying to kill him... Also his name is Jacuzzi Splot... -Nice Holystone (Baccano) Bomb freak and just a really fun character... -The three main characters from Shura no Toki - I'm cheating with this one because they are all descendants of each other and they all pretty much look and act the same. They go around looking for the strongest guy to fight. Why do I like them? hm... Because they work for food? I don't know. Again they were really likable characters and I'm a martial artist... so... yeah -Killua (HxH) Probably the only character of the series that I really liked. He was a killer trying to run away from his past and family. He was slightly evil but likable. -Kenzo Tenma (Monster) This guy loses everything and what does he do? Try to get justice by any means despite overwhelming odds against him. Every character in Naoki Urasawa's work is complex and amazing. -Shion (Shion no Ou)She is cute as a button and determined. -Lupin III - Do I need to explain this one? -Jigen Daisuke (Lupin III) same as above -Lets just say I like the four main characters of Lupin III, and should not need to explain further -Roger Smith (the Big O) ... now I'm getting lazy and don't want to explain. Ranger 11 Report post Posted August 15, 2011 I laugh at the people that actually put Ichigo Kurosaki in their top anime character lists. I guess people like dull personalities, generic " I have to protect EVERYTHING" attitudes, ridiculous or lack of character development..etc etc. Here's my list, I kind of have a thing for anti-heros/villains. 1. Haibara Ai - the savior of this series imo. An excellently developed character, a former villain now working with the main character - a femme fatale to some degree. Smart, dangerous, and has looks. Plus, her seiyuu nails her character perfectly. 2. Yagami Light - I really enjoyed seeing this bored high school student attain a God-like status and maliciously murdering criminals. The corruption he showed as he continued to bend his own rules of justice was interesting to watch. 3. Orihara Izaya - Just a great, villain. He's a fucked up individual, he enjoys seeing people suffer, and loves to observe how humans react to situations. He acts if he himself isn't human, which is why his character is so interesting. His go-happy attitude with that serial killer edge is awesome. 4. Ulquiorra Cifer - Kubo's greatest character imo. He represents death of emptiness, not understanding any emotion, hollow, human, shinigami, arrancar..His merciless and calm demeanor made him a badass, and his death was touching and deep. He actually made Orihime bearable. 5. Celty Sturluson - A Dullahan who wears tight leather and rides a sexy motorcycle. Awesome. I don't really need to explain anymore other than the fact that she's a badass heroine! honorable mention: L - a quirky detective, with very unique characteristics. He's been bleaching his hair since he was 10, and his character's background is shrouded in mystery... He's the Kaitou KID of The Prince of Tennis. Kaitou KID/Kuroba Kaitou~DCMK...Do I need a reason? Lelouch Lamprouge~Code Geass...totally awesome anti-hero, magnificent bastard that he is. Chess master, and all around bad-ass lazy dude. Uchiha Sasuke~Naruto... I have a thing for anti-heros, okay? Males - Himura Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin): A very strong man. From him, I learned to bear my sorrows, my sadness and my past to continue living. - Train Heartnet (Black Cat): I learned the meaning and the value of free will, which I totally lack. Female - Vermouth (DC): I learned to be calmer, smarter, more mysterious and more manipulative; so nobody can take advantage of me again. I also learned acting stills to cover my real emotions.
