Southpaw 61 Report post Posted August 9, 2010 from Anime News Network: 30-year-old singer Rina Aiuchi unexpectedly announced on Friday that she will be retiring from the entertainment world. Aiuchi delivered the news during a fan club-only concert in Osaka and said that she has decided to retire partly because of her health, with which she has experienced problems in the past. She plans to end her musical career with a concert at Amagasaki City in Hyōgo Prefecture on September 26. Her last album, appropriately titled Last Scene, will ship on September 15.Aiuchi was born in Osaka on July 31, 1980, and she made her professional singing debut in 2000. She performed various songs for the Detective Conan (Case Closed) television anime series and movies, as well as MÄR, Monster Rancher, and other television anime series. detectiveshinichi 17 Report post Posted August 10, 2010 She sang lots of hits we came to know and love on Detective Conan, including "I Can't Stop My Love For You ♥ ", "Koi Wa Thrill, Shock, Suspense" , "START", "MAGIC", and "Dream x Dream". It's sad to see such a great J-Pop singer from Higashiosaka in the Osaka Prefecture of Japan, that started on March 23 of 2000, after 10 years in the music business, is going to retire from her career next month. Akazora 293 Report post Posted March 11, 2011 I can't believe she's leaving! But her final album is really good! Last Scene has some great songs in it. Some of them are very touching.
