yoyoholmes 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2013 today i just found out another strange thing about that mysterious BO boss it started when i was checking the beginning manga files wishing it could lead me to something so i specified my search on the ones which was featuring the BO and believe it or not it was quite useful in this link http://www.mangareader.net/139-8157-6/detective-conan/chapter-111.html you'll find page 6 of the manga 111 << suspicious number right << still not enough ??ok then check the the bottom of the page professor Agasa tells he got money from selling one of his inventions which is >> a voice changing pin which is maybe also used by the BO members >>Vermouth as Dr Araide still not enough right ??? Remember what Gosho said > reavealing the real name of the BO will reveal the boss"s name he sold the invention to .............. BANDAI >>as we see in the manga page so i decided to check the REAL LIFE BANDAI i tried Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bandaithe first thing i noticed was a photo of a car in the right side of the page a red one >> Saab 96 looks exactly like or i would say a carbon copy of Gin's black Porsche also read the history of the company >>Kamen rider (KAMEN YAIBA) which is also the device in the manga version (KAMEN YAIBA CARD LOOKING VOICE CHANGER) could it be clues??!!so what i'm saying now is it could be the the name of the company president or maybe partially >> that's if it's mentioned in the manga or anime so i got 2 names i found on the wikipedia page Kazunori Ueno, President &CEOMitsuaki Taguchi, COOI will be delighted to see your opinions about it
Chekhov MacGuffin 1089 Report post Posted May 18, 2013 My honest opinion is that this theory is very silly. I think the number of a chapter isn't a good clue. You can make up reasons for any number to be suspicious. Why is 111 more important than 222 or 333 or 486? Why does a company buying one of Agasa's inventions make them possible bad guys? That bath house in chapter 722 also bought an invention from Agasa. Agasa sold people some ham and egg making machines that he had to fix in chapter 664. Vermouth doesn't need to use a voice changer to change her voice. She learned how to do it naturally from the first Kaitou Kid: Kuroba Toichi. Why is Bandai making toy cars in real life suspicious? American toymaker Mattel makes toy cars. Are they suspicious? Gin's car is a Porsche 356A, not a Saab. Gosho would never make a real contemporary person to be the boss. Since the boss is a bad guy, Gosho could be sued for libel or something like that if he used a real life person. In order to make a good theory you have to use clues from the manga. Also, clues have to come from Gosho's work. Trying to say that Bandai is suspicious because it has a car on its Wikipedia page makes no sense. That is because Gosho doesn't control Wikipedia. If you want to see an example of a strong theory, take a look at the theory that Okiya Subaru is Shuuichi Akai. Most theories aren't this long, but you can see the sorts of arguments that are used. You can use it as a guide to improve your argument style.
yoyoholmes 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2013 if what u say about gosho is right then why would he use a real company name in the manga and what i said about the names that it maybe partially like only the first name or the last name u didn't even read the whole thing plus about the okiya theory i think it's easy for any non japanese person to figure it out unless he's drunk u only need to know what the word red means in ( red, yellow and white) Red=Akaiso what i say that discussing such thing is insulting to our intelligence thanx my dear
User 4869 100 Report post Posted May 19, 2013 if what u say about gosho is right then why would he use a real company name in the manga He can use Bandai real name because those fact are real (They produce toys) But their heads are not criminal as far as we know. Say that in a manga will get you sued professor Agasa tells he got money from selling one of his inventions which is >> a voice changing pin which is maybe also used by the BO members >>Vermouth as Dr Araide As the above comment already point out. You got this fact wrong, Vermouth (And Kaitou Kid) don't need voice changer. Bourbon, who need this ability badly, don't use it either. i think it's easy for any non japanese person to figure it out unless he's drunk u only need to know what the word red means in ( red, yellow and white) Red=Akai And everyone will ask why a kid nicknamed someone red mean that guy is another person with the name Red, who 'v been recently shot dead. That's "Red guy" alone is not a prove. There're many more like his handiness, his fondness of Bourbon. His BO aura. His similar expression. etc. It's easy to say once the result is revealed. try deduction showdown whit someone in DCW instead and see if you can beat them (I would name names those scary smart people but I can't get them involve without consent) the first thing i noticed was a photo of a car in the right side of the page a red one >> Saab 96 looks exactly like or i would say a carbon copy of Gin's black Porsche OK, the car is not a Porsche nor black. Bandai produces many more toys car base on real cars, just one look like a Porsche does't mean it relate to Gin. Wikipedia is a web which anyone can edit. This day they show the picture of Saab 96 but may be not tomorrow. By the time Gosho write chapter 111 (Year 1996) I doubt this Bandai page even exist. Gosho cannot foretell that sometime in the future people would coincidentally add Sabb in Bandai wikipage, make them important. so i got 2 names i found on the wikipedia page Kazunori Ueno, President &CEO Mitsuaki Taguchi, COO Gosho said he already put the Boss full name in the manga somewhere. That's mean if you can't find the name "Kazunori Ueno", "Mitsuaki Taguchi" in the manga right now. This theory is busted. CEOs of companies comes and goes. Those two people above may not yet the head of Bandai by the time Gosho wrote the chapter and he won't know they will be the head now. What if in the future Bandai changes their CEOs again. What Gosho would do? accuse the then CEOs to be the boss? Mystery story should have definite answer, not change upon company staff names. If I going to use something outside DC manga to help build a theory I would use Gundam, not Bandai. BTW Chek-san. Chekhov MacGuffin 1089 Report post Posted May 19, 2013 BTW Chek-san. You probably know this already but your signature links to DCTP are not working due to their server change (or whatever.) I didn't know they were broken. Thanks for the heads up. If only DCTP would reenable the intrapost linking, then all my posts there would look normal again.
