Sotesf 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2014 Hi, long time reader first time caller I have been comming to this wiki for a long time to look up info and stuff, only recently created an account out of spite. I'm usually more into the wikia.com, I just finished watching season 22 of Detective Conan recently and when I went to update the wikia I found I was banned for "Shameless promotion" by suggesting 2 weeks ago that people looking to expand the DetectiveConanWikia should come to DetectiveConanworldwiki for more indept info on things like the ovas, and one shots since it is a small and new wikia. I meant to give them a resource but I got my edit revised and blocked permenantly with no warning, message telling me not to do that again or way to contact anyone or edit ever again. I didnt even get a real reason for being blocked other than the next edit after mine being "Anyone who posts links to Detective conan world will be banned" on the front page. Hence the spite part and the rant; I hope to add some pic to the gallery soon, though I'm a bit lazy right now. Anyway, Hello everyone Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Well, advertising ain't allowed here too but here we don't mind taking information from any resource until it's fake.. So put on your seatbelt cuz here discussions and topics never end..! First, the edit note: "Could not edit Template:Links had to put this very important link under Adding content". A very "important link", huh? I've seen plenty of those. They tend to be spam. Not a very good way to put down your edit. Secondly, the edit itself. It looks like you're trying to leech traffic away from the wikia, even if that wasn't the intention. With those two in mind, I'm not completely shocked by their reaction, though it was a bit over the top. What does interest me is the message. They clearly did see it as an attempt at promotion, judging by the wording of their message. They also noted something about "referencial terms", which I have no idea what that means; "referencial" isn't even a word to begin with. I really don't think that message was necessary. I wonder if someone can send a ping over them about that message. EDIT: Whoops, this is a introduce yourself thread. Welcome to DCW!
